Legacy of Raid’s second dungeon, [Abyss Valley], was the starting point of LEORE’s story.
Until now, I was just an adventurer solving problems that happened around me, but after dealing with the boss [Abyss Maggot] that came out of the [Underground Cave] and discovering a huge entrance leading underground, the story truly began.
I’ve never really taken the story seriously while playing RPG games. I’d just think, “Ah, I see,” and skim through it, but LEORE was different.
I’m already so immersed in LEORE that it feels like reality. It’s the place where I first opened my eyes and moved, after all.
On top of that, the virtual world game is showing such perfection that it’s impossible not to get immersed.
Of course, pain and suffering are said to be converted into vibrations, but other than that, it’s so similar to reality that I can’t feel the difference.
My body moves according to my will, and all the information in front of me is no different from reality.
That’s why there’s a set usage time for accessing the virtual world.
But thanks to the MDB terminal, which was specially made by the terminal company, I was able to stay there 24 hours a day.
Anyway, I was pushing the story with a serious face to open the next dungeon, [Abyss Valley].
I’m at the place where I killed the [Underground Cave] boss, [Abyss Maggot], with NPCs—no, other companions.
I swallowed without realizing it at the huge entrance that had no end in sight. I don’t have a fear of heights, but I felt a little scared when I leaned my head into such a large place where I couldn’t see the bottom.
I grabbed a stone next to me and threw it.

No matter how long I waited, I couldn’t hear the sound of the stone hitting the bottom.
In terms of the story, I have to go down here to enter the next dungeon, [Abyss Valley].
After talking with my companions, the conclusion was that the magician, a companion, suggested that we go down safely using its levitation magic, and we went down using levitation magic.
While continuing to go down, the story in the companions’ stories was interesting enough to keep me from getting bored.
It’s still a little scary to go down into the darkness where I can’t see the bottom, but it was a little better because I was listening to stories with my companions.

Pink Berry and Soonchu-nim were waiting for me.
This feels strange. If it was just an RPG, it would have been all about chatting on Discord or something, but it felt a little good to be talking directly in front of me and waiting for me.
If it was just a PC RPG, it would have been just a game friend, nothing more, nothing less, but meeting like this in a virtual world feels very reassuring, like a party of heroes.

Currently, there is a chat system called a chat room in LEORE. So, the chat room created for my smooth dungeon Heading Party Blind Run Party is the Arang Arang Chatroom.
Of course, I didn’t make it; Soonchu-nim made it. As expected, an Inssa is different; the speed of promotion is absurd.
And I didn’t know, but Soonchu-nim was quite an ancient water veteran player in LEORE.
I went to the Leore Log site to find out what kind of person Soonchu-nim was, searched for Soonchu-nim’s nickname, and checked. He was currently doing Raids as an active player, and most of the meters were orange, and occasionally one was pink.
To briefly explain how to read the meter.
There are numbers from 0 to 100, and the higher the number, the higher the ranking.
0~24% is gray
25~49% is green
50~74% is blue
75~94% is purple
95~98% is orange
99% is pink and 100% is yellow.
100% means that the Damage Per Second DPS is the best among the jobs in the dungeon or Raid.
In other words, if I raise the meter in [Underground Cave] and get 100% yellow, it means that I did the best Damage Per Second DPS among the [Sword Masters].
Usually, users with that color also say “ttak” after the color, meaning sticker, such as grayttak, greenttak, etc.
Usually bluettak is average, purplletak is good, orangettak is very good, pinkttak is top-notch, and yellowttak is the best.
If you look at the meter in detail, there are many things to see, but it doesn’t matter if you just know that much.
“Have you two talked a bit?”
I looked back and forth between Pink Berry and Soonchu-nim and said.
“Yes! I decided to drop the honorifics with Pink Berry! So, how about Arang-nim also dropping the honorifics?”
You’ve already dropped the honorifics? That’s really fast. Well, it’s not bad to use honorifics in this game world, which is not reality, but it’s much more comfortable to speak informally since we’re going to be adventuring together.
I was going to say it first, but it’s much more comfortable for me to say it like this first.

As soon as I naturally raised my hand and called her Soonchu, Soonchu was greatly embarrassed.

As soon as I entered [Abyss Valley], I was impressed.
I thought it would be just a dark dungeon because it was called Abyss, but it was a space landscape that I could see in movies.

I raised my head and looked around. I really felt like I was in space.
But it wasn’t long before space became Abyss.
I can’t explain it, but my body felt eerie.

Water felt on my feet.
Now I understand why there is the word Valley.
I wonder what kind of monsters and bosses there will be in this dungeon.
I’m really looking forward to it.
