The portal base teleportation could truly be considered a game-changing option.

At first glance, one might wonder if it’s really that good. Is it worth 25 points? Some might view it negatively.

When I was playing Farming World, I might have hesitated if this option was sold for 25 points.

But now, I’m pushing forward with a massive project connecting Earth and the Rift Dimension. Until now, the only means to transport employees between Earth and the Rift Dimension was my Login & Logout skill. If Soo-jung Kim or Sol Kim needed to leave or had business to attend to, they had to coordinate with my departures. And if I was conquering a biome somewhere, they had to wait that entire time, which was a disadvantage.

Actually, it’s debatable whether that’s really a disadvantage. After all, the very ability to travel between dimensions with others makes the Login & Logout skill undeniably SSS+ tier.

Still, this option perfectly addresses the improvements I’d been hoping for.

What makes this Level 5 option particularly good is that the cooldown continues to decrease and stacks continue to accumulate. In normal circumstances, properly managing the Login & Logout cooldown and stacks is no easy task. It might be manageable if you commute to Earth just once a day. But since the Rift Dimension is my main base and I only go to Earth when necessary, using all 7 stacks of Login & Logout (with the +40% skill effect) without waste? While it’s not necessary to use all stacks to get full performance, investing more points to level up would be inefficient if I’m not even utilizing 50% of its potential—it would just be spending points to increase the number of accompanying people.

But this one option alone gives Login & Logout enough value to justify continuing to level it up, regardless of cost.

Movement is possible even without me present.

That’s the capability of the portal base teleportation.

[Only SSS+ grade users can use the simple base teleportation portal installed in the Logout dimension.]

If there’s one disappointment, it’s that easy access with an F-grade teleportation portal isn’t possible.

    Well, that makes sense.

If dimensional travel could be that easily accessed, I could just level up Login & Logout to create about 20 stacks, and necessary employees could freely come and go as needed—perhaps too convenient. I could even set up simple bases all over the world and travel around comfortably.

Fortunately, the SSS+ grade base teleportation portal is available for purchase.

[At current level (5), 1 SSS+ grade base teleportation portal can be purchased.]

    [Required Farming Points: 10]

There was no need to debate the price.

It’s literally selling a dimensional gate for 10 points—whether it’s 10 or 100 points, it’s a must-buy. Though if it were 100 points, I might consider enduring the inconvenience for now and buying it later.

I acquired another SSS+ grade base teleportation portal.

    “Call Sol.”

I wondered how I should install this on Earth to make a good impression.

With that thought crossing my mind, I called for Sol Kim.

    “You called, Master?”

“…What’s with that form of address again?”

“Everyone else calls you ‘Boss,’ so I wanted to call you something special.”

I’m constantly reminded that she truly has a free spirit.

Sol Kim is currently busy designing a cabin near her mother’s World Tree.

Well, not exactly busy—she’s contemplating what materials to use for the design.

“Since it’s a small cabin and she has clear preferences, it should be done quickly. Why?”

“Would you like to build a large base on Earth with a Rift Dimension concept?”

“On Earth? What kind of feel?”

“Like the Rift Dimension inside Earth. You can design it however you want. You can use all materials from the Rift Dimension. We can now set up a simple base on Earth.”

    “…Are you serious?”

Sol Kim always wears a bright expression.

Her slightly mischievous look could be interpreted as constantly cheerful or perhaps a bit frivolous.

Of course, I know that’s just her personality, and she’s actually quite thoughtful and serious inside.

Right now, she’s asking me with complete seriousness.

Sol Kim is usually most serious when discussing design, especially not just any spatial design, but design related to Farming World—or rather, the Rift Dimension now.

In any case, Sol Kim seemed quite interested.

“I’ve allocated 20 more points to your mom’s house, and we’re using 80P out of 170P total, so we have about 90P to spare. Is that too small?”

“How large do you want it to be?”

“I want to build a mansion-like safe house on the Farming Company property. That place will be made thoroughly secure, and outside of it, I want to create a village with buildings like department stores and other Farming Company-related structures.”

“Hmm. 90P should be enough, right? Can I use all of it if needed?”

    “If necessary.”

“I think I could leave the department store design and hotel construction as is. If we design it to capture the feel of the Rift Dimension, it might not be bad to build it in a modern style from the start.”

“Do whatever you’re comfortable with. I’m leaving it to you.”

“Let me think about it. So basically, you want me to create a safe house that can use a dimensional portal connecting here and Earth, right?”

After I explained the Level 5 capabilities of Login & Logout, Sol Kim immediately grasped what I wanted.

    “Let’s start with that.”

“Got it. But it can’t be done right away. To make it a perfect safe house, we have sound-absorbing stones already, but I think we’ll need Bratrium?”

“…Was that in Level 5 biomes?”

    “Usually, yes.”

“I’ll see if we can get just that for now.”

“Okay. I’ll work on the basic design in the meantime.”

We decided not to make the project too ambitious, focusing just on installing the teleportation portal connecting to Earth in an inconspicuous location.

To fully realize what I have in mind, we’d need to have cleared the entire Rift Dimension and be prepared to gather all necessary resources, but so far we’ve only cleared Level 2 biomes.

Resources useful for construction and daily life tend to be in higher-level biomes due to their superior performance, though we could find things like sound-absorbing stones and recovery herbs in lower-level biomes.

Perhaps if we found sound-absorbing stones, Bratrium might also be available in lower biomes.

For now, I logged out and headed to my office at the Farming Department Store.

The VVIP auction floor. My office, labeled “President’s Office,” was a spacious area that doubled as a viewing space for the auction. I allocated about 5P to make this a temporary base and installed the teleportation portal.

    “I wonder if it works.”

I’d installed it, but to verify it worked, I needed to see if other employees could cross over.

After waiting briefly, Soo-jung Kim appeared through the teleportation portal.

“Wow. Amazing. Oppa, this really works?”

    “It works well.”

Before logging out, I had asked Soo-jung to wait about 20 minutes and then check if she could select the gate to Earth through the teleportation portal.

Soo-jung vividly described her experience without missing a detail.

“How should I describe the feeling… It’s somewhat like logging out, different from using other teleportation portals. When using it, destinations appear in a list just the same, but when coming to Earth, the destination is shown as ‘Earth-Simple Base (Korea).’ And it shows the count as 6/7.”

    “Check the login too.”

She immediately confirmed the login as well, verifying that it still showed 7/7, indicating that the fully charged login gained from leveling up hadn’t been used.

    “No problems. Now go back.”

“Oppa, are you really going to fight them?”

“Well, I need to see this through. Avoiding it won’t solve the problem.”

“Be careful. Call me if you need me. I’m an SS+ grade magician now.”

“If you have nothing to do, go clean up the western mine area with Lulu.”

“Yeah, that’s probably better. Good luck, I’m heading back.”

After saying things she didn’t really mean, Soo-jung quickly escaped to the farm.

    And I immediately called Kellin.

    “Yes, Soo-hyun.”

    “What are you doing?”

    “Thinking about you.”

    “…Are you in Korea?”

“No. I came to America a few days ago. Why? Miss me?”

“Not really. I have a favor to ask.”

I don’t particularly trust the Hunter Association or the government.

But KL Group, led by America’s #1 ranked hunter who also has a grip on the business world, might be able to provide the information I need.

“Dark Site. Can you find out where it is and who’s in charge?”
