    Ch.203198 – Gathering

If we’re talking about the biggest event hosted by Twissy, the “Twissy Year-End Partnership Party” would top the list, but the UPUD afterparty was certainly no less impressive.

Even excluding staff members, around 100 people attended, seemingly more than half of the streamers who participated in the tournament.

These casual meetings could lead to collaboration opportunities, and afterparty stories would provide quality content to milk for a day or two, so there was no reason to decline.

[More than 100 people? Isn’t this the biggest afterparty ever? lol]

-Last year there were about 50 people?

    -The attendance rate is insane

-The chef’s wrists and ankles are gonna break haha

└ How many ankles does he have?

-They say lots of rookie streamers are coming, how can I miss this

-Last year the atmosphere was a bit tense so it felt awkward to attend

[Where’s NoName…? Did you abandon your team?]

    -Why bring someone who’s sick?

    -It’s her birthday today

    └ What, really?

    -Is NoName’s hospital livestream up?

    └ (screenshot.jpg)

└ It’s up, that’s why they posted it lmao

[Birthday livestream followed by streamer afterparty broadcast? This is Sunday happiness, this is content gold hahaha]

-They rented out the entire second floor lol

└ Even one floor looks huge

└ And it already looks packed, yeah

-Will we finally see Hyebam in person?

    └ She already posted selfies

└ Honestly can’t trust them because of filters lol

[Streamers spotted in Yeongdeungpo in real-time!]

    (mosaic.jpg)

-Are all those mosaiced people streamers?

    └ (Author): Yep lol

    -Wow where is this?

    └ (Author): Yeongchung-ro XX street

-You crazy dude lol, you even went up to the roof to take this pic. Are you a stalker? That’s hardcore

└ (Author): What are you talking about? This is my house, I live in a rooftop apartment.

-(Author): Oh! The person who just left the building sounds like Han Yong-cheol, I can tell just by his voice

└ Why is this guy doing a live report here? lol

-(Author): ??? Did I see wrong? I think NoName arrived

From the moment Yong-cheol said he’d bring Name, the event staff anticipated chaos.

That’s why they asked everyone to stay in their seats, at least until Name was seated.

Regular people might have ignored such a request, but streamers were practically public figures.

Viewers’ eyes served as excellent CCTV, and everyone sat waiting for the main character to arrive.

[Breaking news! NoName is coming to the afterparty!]

[Why is this thread refreshing so fast?]

[Go to Daltori’s stream quick! NoName appearing in 30 seconds!]

    [Hurry hurry hurry!]

[Everyone’s taking out their phones lol]

“Did Yong-cheol hyung lie to us?”

    “No way.”

Anxiously shaking their legs while staring at the entrance, nearly 2 minutes had passed.

    Ding-

The bell indicating someone had opened the door echoed throughout the hall.

Silence instantly fell over the room.

Streamers reflexively pointed their phones forward while craning their necks to see.

On the small screens appeared the tiny face of a young girl.

    [Wooooooooooow!!!!!]

    [NoNameNoNameNoName!!!]

    [So cuuuute hahaha]

[She looks exactly like her avatar, that’s insane]

    [LMAOOOOO]

[I’m so jealous I’m so jealous I’m so jealous]

[Like if you want to pinch NoName’s cheeks lol]

[Who’s that grandpa next to her? His suit fit is fire]

    [NoName look over here please!]

[We have to follow her movement across different streams lol, what a hassle]

    “Waaaaaaaaaah!”

Joy, delight, admiration, shock, and the instinctive screams women make when seeing something cute all merged into one noise that filled the room.

    “Kyaaaaa she’s so cute!”

A female streamer trembled with excitement.

[NoName is about to conquer the female streamer market!!!]

[Monster rookie streamer (8 years old) destroying all female Twissy streamers]

[How can someone be that small? lol]

[She looked at least 10 on stream, why is she so tiny…?]

[Haha she can’t reach the shoe rack]

[Is her shoe size even 200mm?]

“An 8-year-old Challenger? An 8-year-old UPUD champion? My hands… my career… what happened…?”

A former pro streamer who faced Name in the finals and suffered the humiliation of a 2-3 defeat.

[Don’t cry bro. You’re just old.]

    [8 × 4 = 32]

[The comment above is savage lol]

[You lived 4 times longer and still got destroyed by a kid]

[LoL fact: NoName is the same age as the champions ‘Nunu’ and ‘Annie’]

[Honestly, NoName herself is just unfair]

[How can someone be a Royal Roader at Worlds but struggle for 3 years at UPUD? lol]

[If you can’t beat them, recruit them! Team up next time]

[Look over here quick! Can’t miss NoName’s close-up!]

    ‘But where should Name sit?’

The quick-witted streamers’ minds were already racing.

They had to call that child over to their side, no matter what.

The competition to recruit Name had begun.

    * * *

“Oh no, it’s fine! Professor, you’re absolutely welcome to stay with your daughter!”

“No, no. An old man like me would only make the kids uncomfortable.”

“Professor Cheon, are you really leaving?”

“There’s a beef head soup restaurant on the first floor that looks delicious. Just text me when you’re done. Boreum, please take good care of Name.”

“Yes…! I’ll look after her well!”

I opened the restaurant door while holding Boreum’s hand, which smelled strongly of perfume.

A chorus of cheers ranging from deep “woah” to high-pitched “kyaa” assaulted my eardrums.

The main hall had about ten tables that could seat up to six people each.

The promise of a chocolate fountain at the dessert corner was no lie, as a sweet aroma gently tickled my nose.

Medium-rare steak, kimchi fried rice, Tuscan pasta, and fresh sushi.

From the entrance, the feast stimulated all five senses, naturally whetting my appetite.

“NoName! Name! Over here, over here!”

A woman right next to me raised her hand and enthusiastically welcomed me.

“Kyaa she looked this way! Name, do you want to eat this?”

In the blink of an eye, a Pepero snack was placed in my mouth.

Sweet. It tastes even better since I haven’t had it in a while.

“There’s more on this plate! Want to sit here?”

I politely declined the woman who was patting the seat next to her.

However, if I made one big mistake since entering the restaurant, it was carelessly accepting the snack she offered.

People who witnessed this began presenting plates of appetizing food along my path.

It was truly difficult to ignore desserts with visuals that threatened to numb my tongue with sweetness.

Sorry to Boreum, but like a dog that strays from its path during walks to smell the grass, I was drawn to the temptations thrown at me.

“Would you like a piece of mille-feuille?”

    “Nom.”

The strawberry on top is extremely sweet.

    “Do you like eclairs?”

    “Aaah.”

“Yes! Good job! You eat so well! Wow, you’re cute! Can I take a picture with you?”

This one tastes a bit cheap. Perhaps Korean flour can’t recreate that moist texture?

    “Name, over here! Here too!”

I sniffed around, searching for the source of the smell.

    Caramel?

It’s crème caramel. Golden pudding topped with shiny brown caramel syrup.

Someone kindly brought a teaspoon to my mouth, and I opened wide without hesitation.

    “Aaah…?”

    I couldn’t taste anything. That’s impossible?

When I opened my eyes again, the spoon was far away.

Intoxicated by the caramel scent, I had followed the spoon all the way to “The Blory” team’s table from World of Arsheria.

“Hi Name, we meet again today! You should have told us you were coming, you really surprised us!”

“Nyam. What’s this? You’re not feeding birds here. You could have just called me over.”

    “I didn’t think you’d come if I just called!”

Yoon-sul smiled innocently as she brought the spoon to her own mouth.

    I looked around briefly.

The Pied Piper method, or perhaps the Hansel and Gretel approach. Several people were quietly approaching me, each holding some kind of bait.

“You’ll sit here, right? You wouldn’t leave us for another table, would you?”

“That’s right, Name, come sit with your unnies and oppas and eat something delicious!”

“So what can you offer me here?”

You’re all getting food from the buffet counter anyway.

“Mr. Simsimman, show Name that thing from earlier!”

“That thing? Ah! Magic? Name, do you like magic?”

Simsimman, a variety game streamer on Twissy who was on my team.

I was surprised to learn his main profession was actually being a magician.

He asked me to pick one of the trump cards he spread out, so I chose the Ace of Spades at the front.

Then when he asked me to name another card I liked, I randomly selected the Ten of Hearts.

“Ten of Hearts? That’s your choice? Are you sure?”

    “Yes.”

“Name, do you remember what card you picked earlier?”

A card was held in my hand, face down.

“It was the Ace of Spades.”

“Then wouldn’t it be amazing if the card in your hand suddenly changed to the Ten of Hearts?”

Simsimman pointed at the card I was holding with wide eyes and a determined expression.

The crowd that had gathered held their breath as they watched.

    The tension reached its peak.

    “Want to check?”

With those words, I flipped my right wrist to turn over the card.

The card that had never left my hand had changed from the Ace of Spades to the Ten of Hearts.

    “Wow!”

I flinched and exclaimed in amazement.

What is this? How did he do that?

“How… how did you do that…? I definitely didn’t sense any mana interference?”

    “Want to see it again?”

    “Yes.”

“Nice! Come sit at our table! I’ll show you magic until closing time!”

Simsimman proudly raised his clenched fist.

He received a thunderous round of applause.

I only learned later about the wails of despair coming from the other tables.
