“Arin, please finish your meal first, and then I’ll help you. You haven’t finished eating yet, have you? Let’s put that aside and finish your meal.”

“Yes, hehe… studying with Sister Bine…”

Arin, for whatever reason, smiled at me with a grin.

I hadn’t done anything special for Arin; all I’d done was cook meals and clean.

I just did what any housekeeper would do. I wonder why she’s so happy about it.

So, I decided to ask the redhead sitting next to me.

“Do you know why Arin is so happy? I don’t think I’ve done anything special for her, so why is she acting like that?”

“Hmm, she probably heard rumors about you at the Association. She was asking me about your past too.”

“Then, shouldn’t she dislike me instead? Isn’t this a bit strange?”

“Well, Arin has been into that kind of thing lately. You know… enemies becoming allies? She’s been going around talking about how much she likes that.”

“Me, an ally? Ha, me? I’m a villain. There’s no way I could be an ally to magical girls.”

“Well, you might think that, but at least to Arin, that’s how you appear. A core figure from a major villain organization who now helps magical girls, you know.”

“Really, I don’t understand at all. An ally to magical girls. That’s absurd. Sigh… Even if I can’t be an ally to magical girls, I suppose I could be an ally to Arin personally.”

After finishing our meal, I had Arin sit in front of me.

“Now, could you show me what will be on the test?”

“For math, it’s from here… to here. I can finish the other subjects easily, but this one is difficult.”

    “Hmm… congruence. Let’s draw a triangle first.”

Elementary school math was really easy. At least there were no cursed functions or calculus.

How complex could geometry be at an elementary school level?

But that made it more challenging to teach—trying to explain something that’s already become common sense to you.

It’s like teaching addition or subtraction.

Or like teaching someone who has never used a computer: “This is a click, this is a double-click, and this is a drag.”

For this kind of teaching, it seemed best to provide several appropriate examples and ask questions about them, gradually filling in the gaps in understanding.

At least this much I could handle easily.

Teaching math was fortunately resolved at the level of Arin’s basic understanding.

At least it wasn’t at the level of “Let’s learn numbers with one monster and several magical girls,” which was fortunate.

    Next was social studies.

I thought social studies would cover politics, law, and economics, but it turned out to be history.

And not just any history, but the entire Korean history.

To gauge the level, I asked Arin’s permission to look at the textbook.

Even high school history was quite basic, but elementary school history wasn’t even scratching the surface—it was more like just touching the watermelon—so I didn’t go into too much detail.

Since history was mostly memorization, I explained it to Arin in a storytelling format to make it easier to remember, incorporating interesting elements to spark her interest.

I thought including magical girl stories would be good.

But Arin seemed to want something else rather than those stories.

“So, did this person Kim Chungsun surrender to Joseon to realize justice and stop meaningless fighting, just like Sister Bine?”

“Well, I’m not here because I realized justice, but… in Kim Chungsun’s case, I suppose you could see it that way.”

“Ah, when you explain it, I understand so well. How are you teaching better than our homeroom teacher?”

“I’m not sure. I have some experience teaching, but this is my first time teaching an elementary school student.”

“Sister, you’re so great. Can you continue helping me in the future?”

“If you want that, bring back good grades. Review everything I taught you today when you go upstairs. Studying is training too.”

    “Yes! Thank you, Sister!!”

I watched as Arin ran up to her room.

The stairs weren’t that high, but I wondered if it was difficult for someone Arin’s height to take two steps at a time. While I was thinking about this, the redhead came over to ask a question.

    “Um, c-could you… help me too…?”

Sigh, am I a tutor or a housekeeper?

    “Sure, let me see.”

“Here, in this shape, I can’t figure out how to solve it…”

“Ah, there, you need to draw a perpendicular line here and…”

And so, I ended up teaching high school math to the redhead as well, so I might as well have become a tutor already.

It would be nice if the unemployed person lying over there looking at their smartphone, or Blanc who’s just stroking the crybaby’s head as a pillow, would help. They’re not helping at all.

High school math—it’s been a while since I’ve seen it.

How long has it been since I changed into this body and regained my memories?

When I think about it, the fact that I still have this level of skill, sigh. You’re not dead yet, K-high school student.

Back then, I didn’t have a monster’s stamina, but I sacrificed my body for studying.

Ah, I really lived a hard life.

Anyway, this problem student still doesn’t seem to understand.

“Look. If you draw a perpendicular line here, you get several formulas you can use. There are special angles, you can apply the law of sines, the law of cosines, even the Pythagorean theorem is visible right here, and you’re still stuck?”

    “N-no… it’s just…”

“Do I need to explain it like I did to Arin? Or should I bring a monster to draw a giant circle in the middle of the city for you to understand? Or should I start from the beginning?”

    “F-from the beginning…”

“Sigh, and you were so eager to read my moves. Look. It’s a triangle inside a circle, isn’t it?”

Really, I never thought explaining to a high school student would be this difficult.

She was still stuck on that problem even when Arin came down to the living room saying she had finished.

I thought it would be better to explain from the beginning, so I asked in detail what she knew and where she was stuck, and answered everything, but if she still didn’t understand…

“Sigh, you’ll need to solve similar problems repeatedly. Is this all?”

    “N-no… I have a few more…”

    Is this even reasonable?

While I continued teaching the high school student, a warning alarm sounded throughout the dormitory.

I’ve adapted to this housekeeper life enough to know what this sound means.

A monster appearance siren. It alerts the magical girls in this dormitory when there are signs of a monster appearing in their assigned area.

The pattern is slightly different from the villain appearance siren, so even I, who am not familiar with this sound, can distinguish it.

“Redhead, shouldn’t you be heading out? It’s a monster, right?”

    “Ah, right. Sigh…”

While looking at the data sent by the Association on her smartphone, the redhead put her phone away and focused back on the problem.

    “Shouldn’t you be heading out?”

“Ah, this level is just for giving Arin some practical training, so Yunsul or Hyewon will take her. She needs to be able to handle this much on her own.”

    “Let me see it too.”

“Show confidential Association information to a villain?”

“Ha, I’m not one right now, am I? Come on, show me.”

Whether it was concern for Arin that came first, I don’t know, but I asked her to show me what kind of monster it was.

For some reason, she looked at me like I was a cute little sister, but she showed me anyway.

An ordinary reptilian-type monster, moderate size.

It was actually a monster used for practice in Eden, so I was finally relieved.

“Ha, is that all? I thought…”

“She can handle this much alone. Arin too. We’re just worried about her, so Yunsul or Hyewon will go with her.”

“Aren’t those two overpowered for this monster? This one could be taken down with just a flick to the forehead. If you just target its weak points, it would be over in an instant.”

“Well, Arin doesn’t have that level of accuracy yet. She’s improving with training, but it will take some time.”

“I see. By the way, is this monster a natural occurrence?”

“Yes, all monsters these days are natural occurrences. It seems like the frequency has increased compared to when Eden was around.”

“That’s obvious, isn’t it? Where would we get monsters from? Do you know how much energy is lost in that process?”

“At least they’re easier to predict now, so I guess that’s fortunate.”

While the redhead and I were chatting instead of studying, Arin and the crybaby came down ready to go out.

“Ha, so Blanc isn’t going, but you are?”

“There’s no need for Yunsul to step in for this one.”

“I see. Please make sure Arin doesn’t get hurt. I can’t imagine how sad it would be to get injured before an exam.”

“Who do you think I am? I’ll protect Arin. Bine, you just watch the broadcast.”

After seeing the two off, I started helping the redhead with her studies again.

Well, I was blackmailing her, so I was watching the broadcast, but still.

    Arin, you’re weaker than I thought. Hmm…
