Ch.201201. 2 Million Subscriber Celebration Q&A

Originally, I was planning to film a Q&A to celebrate my Diamond button for reaching 10 million subscribers.

However, my subscriber count has already surpassed 20 million, and it’s growing even faster now that articles about Farming Company have started appearing and people are discovering that I’m the owner.

According to Seo Hyoju, since South Korea’s population doesn’t exceed 100 million, to gain more subscribers, I’d need to upload videos targeting international viewers.

But I hadn’t really thought about what kind of content would work for that, and I wasn’t particularly concerned about YouTube subscriber numbers anyway, so I decided to just address the curiosity of my existing audience.

I posted on the YouTube community tab.

Along with a photo of the Diamond button, I wrote, “Ask me anything you’re curious about~” and said I’d select the top 20 questions with the most likes to answer. Now that the deadline has passed, the 20 questions have been selected based on likes.

For some reason, this became a hot topic across various online communities, with people claiming the likes were being manipulated and all sorts of other theories. But since all 20 questions seemed reasonably interesting, I decided to go ahead with filming.

“Hmm. Wouldn’t it be boring to just film it normally?”

“Huh? Do you have an idea?”

    “Should we finally reveal it?”

    “Reveal what?”

    “The Farmer Hunter’s farm.”

    “…Are you serious?”

“I don’t think it matters anymore.”

Truthfully, there was no particular reason to keep my personal farm a secret.

The reason I hadn’t revealed it until now was simply to avoid the hassle that would come with making it public.

For instance, the United States trying to recruit me through backdoor methods even if it meant breaking their own promises about SS-rank Hunters.

Or dark websites where assassins would kill anyone for the right price.

The world is full of jealous lunatics, and many would try to harm me out of envy for my dimensional rift.

At first, I couldn’t protect myself with just my own power, so naturally I kept it hidden.

But now I’ve accumulated enough strength to protect myself.

My level had surpassed 35 without me even checking, and I could continuously acquire SSS+ rank abilities.

Moreover, with the farm’s staff growing and my ability to grant them powers, I no longer needed to protect everyone by myself.

So I concluded that the freedom of living openly outweighed any problems that might arise from going public.

“If you’re okay with it, I’m okay with it. If we film this for YouTube, we could make several videos just showing Sujung’s rural life without doing anything special.”

“…Start your own channel for that kind of stuff.”

“Why not? Don’t you think it would be cute? An SS+ rank fire mage working in fields with the World Tree visible in the background. A perfect homemaker who’s even good at cooking!”

“You said yourself you wouldn’t get married until you’re 30.”

“I just need to date until I’m 30, not get married! Just dating!”

Anyway, my philosophy is that if I’m going to do something, I should do it properly.

Everyone does the same Silver, Gold, and Diamond button unboxing videos.

My YouTube channel started with the unique concept of being an SSS+ rank Farmer Hunter, so doing the same thing as everyone else would be boring.

Since I’ve attracted people’s attention by showcasing extraordinary abilities with a unique concept, I should continue showing increasingly amazing things rather than becoming just like everyone else.

“So should we do it at the farm? We’ve already collected the questions, but if we upload the video in 1-2 weeks, won’t people get impatient?”

I had already written on the YouTube community tab that the Q&A video would be uploaded within 2-3 days.

While I planned to film at the farm, there was no need to wait until the next logout.

“What does it matter? We can just go there briefly.”

After all, login/logout attempts accumulate in stacks of three.

I’ve used one stack, and while waiting for the auction, that used stack will recharge, so making a quick visit in between wouldn’t be a problem at all.

“Oh, that’s right. Oppa, how about bringing a special guest to film together?”

    “Who?”

“Hyoju unnie. You promised to take her for a visit anyway.”

    “Isn’t that a bit much?”

    “What is?”

“People are already trying to pair you two up. If you film the Q&A together, many will misunderstand.”

“Come on, Oppa. We Used to Be Married was a regular YouTube content back in the day. People secretly love that kind of ambiguous atmosphere. Some might get jealous, but you don’t care about that anyway.”

“That’s true. Ask her, and if she’s okay with it, let’s do that.”

    “Okay!”

Kim Sujung immediately called Seo Hyoju, who arrived at our house with two large suitcases in less than an hour.

“…Are you going on an overseas trip?”

“You said we’d stay there for a few days!”

“I was just going to film the Q&A and come back?”

“Why? You promised to show me around.”

Seo Hyoju had become comfortable enough with me to act cute.

I wonder what her fans would think if they saw the “Ice Beauty” Seo Hyoju pouting and whining like this.

Since it was already evening, staying overnight and showing her around the farm might take 2-3 days.

That would work out well with my schedule—I could show her around and then return for the auction.

I put Seo Hyoju’s suitcases into my spatial storage and held out my hand.

As Seo Hyoju took my hand, Kim Sujung asked:

    “Why are you holding hands?”

    “…?”

Seeing that I wasn’t holding Kim Sujung’s hand, Seo Hyoju turned her head away with a slightly reddened face.

Regardless, as I logged in, our surroundings were enveloped in darkness.

    “Wow…”

Despite having entered countless dungeons, Seo Hyoju couldn’t help but marvel at the sight of the cabin’s light glowing in the thick darkness and the stars scattered across the sky.

    “This is… the farm?”

    “Yeah.”

    “Oh! Master?”

Lulu, who had been sitting at the second-floor window tapping her feet, spotted us and flew over.

    “You’re back already?”

“No, just visiting briefly. I’ll have to leave again tomorrow or the day after.”

“Ah! Hehe… that’s good. I was planning to do my homework tomorrow!”

“Don’t worry about me, just do what you need to.”

“Yes!! But who is this person…”

“Ah. A tourist. I brought her to show around the farm.”

    “Wow! She’s so pretty.”

The usual introductory ritual for farm visitors followed.

    “Lulu? She’s so cute.”

    “Hehe. Thank you.”

“So there really is a farm. It’s so atmospheric. What’s this box? It’s glowing so brightly.”

Seo Hyoju seemed to be more of a T-type, showing more interest in the various facilities near the cabin than the farm’s ambiance.

“The warehouse is huge too. Wow… are all these resources inside this box? All that from a mythical box?”

I knew she had that kind of personality, but somehow I felt we connected?

I found myself liking Seo Hyoju a bit more. She seemed to appreciate all the little details and recognize the value of the resources I had farmed.

Since we were at the farm, Kim Sujung cooked dinner, and afterward, we sat by the decorative stove in the living room before heading outside with cups of coffee.

    The end of summer.

It wasn’t as hot as the peak of summer, but the night was still warm and humid.

Still, the atmosphere of filming with the cabin against the dark background was quite charming.

    “This is definitely better.”

I placed the Silver, Gold, and Diamond buttons on the tea table, turned on the lights, and began filming.

Though there was no professional crew, Kim Sujung had equipped herself with gear comparable to any TV production, including natural lighting that completely eliminated any darkness in this outdoor night shoot.

Only Seo Hyoju and I appeared on camera.

Kim Sujung would ask the questions from off-camera as the PD, and we would answer.

    “Alright, first question.”

After a brief opening, we went straight to the main content.

We had selected 20 questions, but Kim Sujung had mixed up the order for entertainment value.

“What is your relationship with each other?”

    “…Excuse me?”

    “Huh?”

“This question received the 14th most likes. Hyoju unnie rarely collaborates with anyone on her channel, and our channel is even more solitary. Hyoju unnie even did her first paid promotion with our Farming cosmetics, right? So people are curious. Many have been speculating since you two filmed together. Now, let’s hear the truth!”

Kim Sujung created a good atmosphere with her appropriate enthusiasm.

But I had no intention of creating a fake angle just for YouTube.

Seo Hyoju, however, seemed to have other ideas.

“He’s my ideal type. As I commented on his channel before, I have very high standards. Most men don’t make my heart race, but from the first time I saw Suhyun oppa, it started beating a little faster, and lately I’ve been thinking I want him for myself. But there’s a lot of competition. So I’ve been actively pursuing him these days.”

    “…”

Even Kim Sujung was speechless at this sudden declaration.

Remembering we were filming, she carefully addressed the camera:

“Um… everyone… this is real, no script, actual situation. Great! A bold confession from a beautiful woman! This would be perfect for the intro!”

Thankfully, Seo Hyoju’s confident expression allowed us to move on to the next question without awkwardness.
