[Orb of the Corrupted Thousand-Year Snake]

    – Grade: S

    – An orb nurtured by a snake consumed by chaos energy. Powerful chaos energy and extreme poison are intermingled within.

    – If consumed, the powerful extreme poison and chaos energy will lead to death unless one can withstand them.

    – If purified before consumption or if one overcomes the extreme poison and chaos energy, all ability scores permanently increase by +1 grade. (Maximum S)

    “….What is this?”

The Orb of the Corrupted Thousand-Year Snake was an elixir.

    An extremely dangerous elixir.

Most people wouldn’t even dare to consider consuming it.

Especially since it means swallowing both extreme poison and chaos energy raw.

Well, since it doesn’t specifically state what conditions are needed, I’ll just have to eat it and try to endure.

In exchange, if I endure, all my ability scores will increase by +1 grade as a reward for overcoming the crisis.

    That’s an incredible benefit.

“Where is the elixir that I’m supposed to consume?”

Even though it’s useless to me, this is perfect merchandise to put up for auction.

I even have a cauldron that can safely transform this penalty-laden elixir.

“I wonder if the extreme poison will be purified.”

If only the chaos energy gets purified and I still have to endure the extreme poison, I’ll just add my purification skill as a service and sell it through auction.

    How much could this fetch?

I wasn’t even sure if I could get a proper price for it.

Just for a permanent +1 grade increase to ability scores, I sold one for 1 trillion recently.

Of course, Kelin did pay a bit more than necessary at that time.

Perhaps it’s time for me to adopt the method of exchanging auction items for other items instead of money.

The conditions set by the Alliance Master weren’t bad, I thought.

That had its pros and cons too.

In the end, a perfectly equivalent exchange is impossible.

That deal was satisfactory to me, but the reason the Alliance Master agreed to it was probably because what he received seemed much more valuable to him.

Well, the same applies to auctions where items are bought with money.

Transactions where both sides perfectly acknowledge the value don’t come about easily.

    “Let’s try purifying it first.”

I placed the Orb of the Corrupted Thousand-Year Snake into the Chaos Stone Purification Cauldron.

As the chaos energy was purified, a black aura flowed out.

[Purified Orb of the Thousand-Year Snake]

    – Grade: S+

    – An orb nurtured by a snake whose dense chaos energy has been purified. The powerful chaos energy and extreme poison have been purified into a pure crystallization of magical power.

    – When consumed, all ability scores permanently increase by +1 grade. (Maximum S)

    – When consumed, magical power ability permanently increases by +1 grade. (Maximum S+)

    “Hmm…”

Yes. If I cleared a main quest in a level 2 biome on an SSS+ difficulty map, I should get at least this much reward. Indeed.

Even as I thought this, I briefly considered what kind of ripples it would cause when revealed to the world, and my head started to throb.

How should I live in this world from now on?

The first thought that came to mind was Kelin, who would fly back to Korea to throw money around again.

But thinking about it, I wondered if Kelin, being an SS-grade hunter, would even need this.

At SS-grade, his magical power ability should be around S~S+ level.

    Or maybe not.

He might buy it for his other abilities.

Whatever the case, it was clear that not just Kelin but top-ranked hunters from around the world would have their eyes rolling back, gathering cash to come to Korea.

“It’ll be quite a face-saving auction after such a long time.”

Since I only go to Earth once or twice a month, the auction cycle has become quite long, and interest in Farming Company might be waning.

So while I think I’ll just do as I please, I inevitably end up preparing something with more impact than the last time.

At least trying to match the previous standard. But how can it be like that every time?

Even as I think this, I end up putting better items up for auction each time than the last.

For now, I carefully tucked the orb into my belt.

    The last item.

I took out the Dense Chaos Energy Fragment.

Honestly, I had no idea what this was.

Since it was related to the Main Quest 2 reward, I wondered if it would add a chaos energy option.

    I checked it immediately.

    [Dense Chaos Energy Fragment]

    – Grade: SSS+

    – A fragment filled with dense chaos energy. It’s unknown what power it contains.

    – When used on a Corrupted Ring, it adds a chaos energy option.

    “Oh?”

    I guessed somewhat correctly.

But I didn’t expect it to be used on the Corrupted Ring to add an option.

    [Corrupted Ring]

    – Grade: SS-

    – Corruption Level: +2

    – A ring made from the ‘Chaos Stone’ itself, condensed with chaos energy. It becomes corrupted and stronger as it absorbs chaos energy.

    – Grade and effects increase each time ‘Main Quest 2’ is cleared.

    – Only those qualified to handle chaos energy can wear it.

    – All ability scores +1 grade

    – All attribute damage +50%. All attribute damage reduction +25%

    – All resources (mana/divine/spirit) +50%

This time, an option was added that increases all resources (mana/divine/spirit) by 50%.

It’s not an increase in damage-related options, but for me with the Purified Ice Spirit Liquor, it’s actually better.

With the mana increase, all skill effects finally rose to 40%.

Final damage also increased by almost 40%.

Considering I was just 50 mana short of getting a 10% skill effect, it means I could soon reach 50%, which is an incredible effect.

Additionally, spirit and divine resources increased by 50% each, securing ample resources.

In reality, the true reasons for pushing the main quest are the SSS+ ability selection right and growing the Corrupted Ring; these two elements provide the most tangible growth, making everything else feel like a bonus.

The anticipation and excitement come from wondering how the Corrupted Ring will change after it’s fully grown and purified.

That’s why I needed to steadily increase my purification energy level.

Currently, I’m purifying chaos energies based on my current purification level, but when the Corrupted Ring is completed, I plan to raise my purification energy level as high as possible before purifying it.

    “If I put this here…”

I brought the small fragment to the Corrupted Ring, which seemed to emit a darker energy.

How am I supposed to insert it?

Just as I wondered, the fragment was absorbed into the Corrupted Ring as if being sucked in.

[Dense Chaos Energy Fragment is absorbed into the Corrupted Ring.]

[The effect of Dense Chaos Energy is applied.]

    – Fragment count: 1

    – (Fragment) Legendary grade or higher appearance rate +1% / Mythic grade or higher appearance rate +0.5%

    And one option was added.

    It was an insane option.

    “Are you kidding me?”

“…Who are you talking to like that, oppa?”

    “This seems crazy.”

I didn’t even hear Kim Soo-jung clicking her tongue as she watched me muttering to myself while cooking.

What could be the intention behind adding such an insane effect?

Even as I thought this, I also felt that for a Dense Chaos Energy Fragment, this level of effect was appropriate.

    An absolute probability increase.

Just 30 minutes ago, I was muttering that +1% was better than +100% while looking at the Novice Explorer’s Badge.

And now that +1% is attached to legendary/mythic items.

I won’t even complain that mythic is only 0.5%.

The probability of mythic grade items in the Farming World is so low that I can’t remember how many zeros come after the decimal point.

    The same goes for legendary.

Legendary and mythic items were things you’d get not by relying on probability but by feeling like they were meant for you.

But if you increase the probability by a fixed 1% and 0.5%, it becomes a number worth grinding for.

It might even be higher than the probability of getting heroic grade items.

    Smooch.

I couldn’t resist giving the Corrupted Ring a kiss.

“How many rewards do you have that you’ve been looking at items all day?”

In response to Kim Soo-jung’s question, I organized a bit.

“I’m almost done. I just need to sort through the rewards in the mythic box.”

This was the last item from the quest rewards.

The last reward seemed to be the best, allowing me to finish on a good note.

At this point, my expectations for the items in the mythic box, which had somewhat diminished, began to rise again.

I was deliberately not looking at the contents yet.

In case there was a good item, I wanted to see it first.

    After securing the Corrupted Ring,

I opened the mythic box with a pounding heart.

A box filled with nearly 100 items.

I had deliberately set it not to be auto-sorted, so it remained intact even as other items were being classified.

First, even the miscellaneous items were mostly rare resources I hadn’t seen before, and there were a lot of them.

I sent the items that Lee Ji-hyun, Kim Sol, and Kim Soo-jung would like to the warehouse through classification.

    Equipment items.

    Jewels.

With only these remaining and arranged by grade, a staff took the first position.

    “This feels good?”

It already exuded an expensive aura.
