Ch.190Love and Jealousy: The Correlation – 3

    “…….”

    “…….”

    “…….”

The three who had each blocked the black mana storm in their own way stared at the uninvited intruder with emotionless eyes.

No, she wasn’t exactly an uninvited intruder. After all, she was just another piece of trash they would have had to kill sooner or later. The timing had simply been moved up a bit.

If anything, they should be grateful that she came here on her own, saving them the trouble of hunting her down.

Olivia drew up black mana as she faced off against the three. Her gestures were filled with obvious killing intent, and the other three were no different. The surroundings quickly became saturated with murderous aura.

“Who do you think you are? Huh?”

Olivia was the first to speak. A metallic voice, riddled with resentment and hatred, spewed from deep within her throat.

“Why do you get Master’s consideration? Why does Master care about you? Huh? Why is that? What have you done to deserve Master’s help? Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh?”

    “Help?”

Charlotte was the first to react to Olivia’s words, which had been spat out like venom. She figured there must be a reason this madwoman was saying such things.

And she had somewhat grasped the outline of the situation. She had gained certainty about the two things she had experienced: feeling the pulse of the soul and falling into the mental world.

She had been almost certain about it already, but there hadn’t been any evidence to support it. But now that Olivia had directly mentioned the boy’s help, it was as good as confirmed.

Charlotte couldn’t suppress the emotion welling up inside her. Even in this situation, her husband was looking after her. He was loving her.

The same was true for Serena and Christine. Though they hadn’t been paying attention to other matters, they were among the most brilliant minds and immediately understood the true meaning behind Olivia’s words.

Serena pressed her lips together to suppress a smile at the fact that her lord had helped her, and Christine forcibly held back tears that threatened to burst forth at the realization that her God had aided her.

    “So… that’s what it was.”

Charlotte drew a magic circle in her palm.

“Since my husband has bestowed such great love upon me, it would be discourteous as a wife not to respond. Wait just a moment, my love. I shall answer that love with all my heart and strength.”

“Love? What did you just say? Love?”

Hearing that murmur, Olivia let out a strange laugh, “Hee hee hee hee hee.” Then, suddenly stopping her laughter, she raised her eyes in a chilling manner.

“Won’t you shut that damn mouth?”

Boom! Olivia stomped the ground. A massive black magic circle was engraved on the floor, and black flames made of dark mana rose from its center.

Charlotte deployed a defensive magic circle while observing the other two. Serena and Christine were growling at each other, preparing to fight amongst themselves over some perceived slight.

She turned her attention away from them. The black flames had already rushed right up to Charlotte. She drew up mana to activate her left eye and pressed down on the flames with blue mana from above.

While suppressing the black flames trying to leak outside the defensive magic circle with mana, she drew another magic circle toward Olivia. Cold and heat seeped through the magic circle.

The next moment, Olivia’s figure disappeared.

    ‘What?!’

This happened despite Charlotte watching with her piercing blue eyes.

While Charlotte was taken aback by this unexpected turn, Olivia’s form shattered the blue mana that had been suppressing the black flames and burst out from within.

Charlotte hurriedly tried to block the attack by overlapping timelines, but the black mana extending from Olivia’s body instantly shattered the overlapped timelines and forced its way through the gap.

‘…Does this woman truly have no limits?’

Charlotte realized from that single attack that her output was being overwhelmed by Olivia’s.

She was truly no different from a monster. Even though Charlotte herself had already reached the realm of Creation, she was still slightly lacking in power to match Olivia.

She wouldn’t be one-sidedly crushed, but she couldn’t win comfortably either.

Charlotte briefly calculated how to distribute her mana if she were to kill Serena and Christine after killing Olivia.

The option of postponing the killing of the other two wasn’t even considered in her mind.

“Someone like you claims to love Master? Someone like you? Trash like you, worm like you, with nothing better than me! You dare try to take Master from me? Hee, heeheeheeheehee… Right, I just need to kill you. Before Master is tainted by such trash, I’ll just kill you. Ah, Master! Please wait just a little longer! I’ll come and love you soon!”

Olivia spewed words bordering on a fit. Hearing this, Charlotte naturally snorted in derision. Even without revealing herself as a lunatic like that, she would have treated her as a crazy bitch anyway.

Charlotte twisted all the timelines laid out before her. She extracted fragments of the past, scattered them everywhere, and unfolded her magic.

As worlds collided, the aftermath spread to every corner. Space creaked and screamed, and overlapping time twisted in all directions.

Beyond the tangled timelines, Charlotte could be seen blocking the black mana. In contrast, Olivia’s figure was nowhere to be found.

That made sense. Unlike Charlotte, who still left traces on the timeline as she walked, that being was the only one of its kind throughout all time.

A black magic circle formed on Olivia’s palm. The magic circle gradually shrank, emitting an ominous black light between her clenched fist.

    “Did I say something wrong?”

The distance between them suddenly narrowed. Olivia grabbed the space with her hand inscribed with the black magic circle, causing the overlapped timelines to collapse helplessly and allow the intrusion.

“You’ve never even received Master’s seed in your womb, have you? How dare you talk about love?”

    “You fucking bitch—”

Charlotte finally cursed as Olivia once again brought up internal ejaculation to mock her. There was simply no way to respond to those words.

No matter what Charlotte said, the fact remained that she was a virgin with no experience with men, while that woman was not.

With her eyes half-crazed, Charlotte unleashed attacks indiscriminately. Magic exploded, space was erased, and blue flashes surged up to the sky, flickering amidst the black mana.

Before Charlotte, who had overturned Olivia’s position with mana, could catch her breath and look for the other two, the black magic circle emitted a black light that evaporated the surrounding blue mana.

That bitch who deserved to be torn to pieces was still perfectly fine.

‘The variety of magic I can use is too limited.’

Charlotte briefly considered what magic she could use against that woman and frowned. The number of usable spells was far too few.

She knew at least tens of thousands of different types of magic. And that was just offensive magic, excluding auxiliary spells.

However, if asked to count the spells that had even a possibility of harming that woman, it would barely reach double digits.

No matter how much she had improved her magic with the Dragon’s Eye and raised her soul’s caliber to increase her output, it was natural given the fundamentally low power.

For such “not meaningless” attacks, the variety of magic she could use was extremely limited, and even those spells weren’t causing significant damage.

‘I need to find a way to inflict certain damage… ?!’

As Charlotte was contemplating how to kill Olivia, a chilling sensation ran down her spine. She immediately created distance with teleportation, and the spot where she had been was split in two.

Even then, she hadn’t completely avoided the attack, as blood spurted from her wrist. The stinging pain was an added bonus.

    “You bitch…”

Her wrist glowed green, indicating the use of healing magic. Charlotte turned her eyes toward the direction from which the slash had come. Without a doubt, Serena was the owner of the attack that had just landed.

Serena was in the midst of fighting Christine. She had launched that slash at Charlotte with the intention of killing her during that momentary opening created by their fight.

And Olivia was approaching Charlotte while bombarding Serena and Christine with black mana.

Eternal darkness was created wherever the black mana brushed past. If it happened to land on the ground, it would devour and consume even the surrounding sounds.

The battle between the four was, in a word, chaotic. They constantly checked each other and tried to kill at the first sign of weakness. Even while fighting one, they had to keep an eye on the other two.

All four had the same goal: to kill the other three and monopolize the boy.

    “…Kuk!”

Serena swung her Wind Shear in a cross pattern, cutting through the blue mana, holy power, and black mana that rushed at her all at once.

But she couldn’t cut them perfectly. One of them brushed past her body, causing a tingling pain.

It was only because of who Serena was now that it ended with just pain; in the past, even a graze would have been enough to kill her outright.

Right after deflecting the attack, Christine rushed in. Serena deflected the holy power with her Wind Shear. Bright flashes stabbed at her eyes. She narrowed her eyes and corrected her posture.

The light emitted by the wings showed no sign of dimming. Each feather contained holy power worthy of being called a miracle, irritating her nerves throughout the fight.

Serena expanded her senses to their limits and carefully observed her surroundings. Although Christine was the most threatening at the moment, she couldn’t afford to let her guard down against the other women.

She created distance from Christine, who had leaped forward and thrust her fist, and used that opportunity to take a stance. Wind gathered around the Wind Shear.

The gathered wind wrapped around the transparent blade, forming a storm—a storm that would flip the inside and outside, tearing apart anything it touched.

    —Underworld Reversal.

Serena brought down her Wind Shear, and simultaneously, the incoming black mana flipped over, colliding with itself and shattering. Without stopping, she rushed straight ahead.

Blue flames were created by the friction between the tip of the Wind Shear and the ground. Those flames soon enveloped Serena’s entire body. Proportionally, her running speed increased as well.

Her blue eyes, the same color as the flames covering her body, fixed on her target. After using Sky Cutter once on each of the other two, Serena leaped directly toward the eight wings.

Blue flames and white flames collided.
