-Please pick Asteria for set 5 too

    [Why NoName is a Superstar][193]

She just drives both fans and haters absolutely crazy LOL

    [Comments]

-I seriously thought she was insane LMAO

    └ Fact) That’s a fact

    -Her Irelia mastery is off the charts;;

└ Must be over a million points right?

    └ I envy NoName’s brain

-She was so cautious with Asteria but with Irelia she’s just diving headfirst

    └ So satisfying~~~

└ That’s how you play Irelia

-Wait, shouldn’t VR controls be better than keyboard/mouse? I was way better on computer

    └ This is actually tr-

└ Most ADCs find VR controls much easier

-Wasn’t expecting much from the Fall Tournament but it’s actually super fun~~~

    -Pattern is loss-loss-win-win-win?

-How is Miroking the Fall Tournament champion LMAO

└ He was Challenger 1000LP in the past

└ The past is just the past

    [I Worship You GOAT][68]

    Bronze-Silver-Gold’s highest output player NoName

After top Asteria, you’ve now revived ADC Irelia

I pray for the continued evolution of ranked games

BTW I’m joining the military next week so quitting LoL, bye everyone LOL

    [Comments]

    -NoName you absolute LEGEND!!!!!!

    -ADC Irelia is way too chaotic;;

-I should quit LoL too after this LMAO

-5 solo kills on Akshan LMAO Irelia will be in his nightmares for real

    -Military service is the way

└ Escaping Bronze-Silver-Gold is the answer

└ After NoName’s performance today, I think we’ll see this in Diamond/Master too

└ But we actually won set 5 thanks to mid TF?

└ The ADC did their job by absorbing ganks

-I thought they’d win easily but it was surprisingly close

└ The opposing coach discovering the Zoe-Irelia combo was a genius move

└ It’ll definitely be meta in pro summer too

└ Makes it too easy to shut down one ADC

└ Just counter ADC Irelia with Irelia-Zoe~

└ That’s a fancy way of saying you want to kill yourself LOL

-Ugh NoName do you really want to see me go crazy?

    └ Urk… damn…

    └ She’s cute though LOL

└ Please be a pretty girl please be a pretty girl please be a pretty girl

-Horizon post-interview will be with Miroking and Hyebam

└ What? Isn’t NoName definitely MVP?

└ World of Arsheria finals are in 15 minutes

    └ Are you kidding LMAO

└ This makes even less sense LOL

    * * *

[Sigh… I’ll confess now that preparing for the Fall Tournament was really hard. I was a one-trick who’d never played any champion besides Mirocel.]

    -LMAO

-A man showing his soft side LOL

    -Disgusting, Miroking

-Hurry up and pass the mic to Hyebam

[So what was the hardest moment for you?]

[When NoName was teaching me. Seriously! It nearly killed me. She doesn’t swear but she knows how to drain your soul… wait I’m not finished yet!]

[Yes! We heard how NoName helped build team spirit! Thank you!]

[She’s a real demon! Not human! Remember everyone, appearances can be deceiving!]

“The Fall Tournament just ended? What time is it now, 8PM? Must have gone all five sets.”

The man climbing down from the ladder pulled back the curtain and opened the window to check outside.

The thinning sunlight was heating up the final moments of the day as it set beyond the horizon.

The early evening breeze gently brushed against his cheeks, but rather than feeling refreshed, he felt stuffy and uncomfortable.

The early June summer air was hot and humid.

-I thought LoL would finish first LMAO

-Now let’s head to the TGBD

-Who misses a tournament they’re hosting?

-The after-party is huge this year

-This must be the only company where the CEO paints the walls himself LOL

    [DeLete]

[Just Chatting – Boss Working Part-Time (After-Party Prep)]

    [Stream Time – 4:48:19]

    [Viewers – 4928]

Delete, one of the five founding members of Letterbox, one of South Korea’s largest MCNs.

To focus on his personal streaming, he had handed over the CEO position to another co-founder and now served as CE (Chief Evangelist).

Every June and December, Letterbox hosted after-parties for TGBD and Fall Tournament participants, creating a space for networking.

Behind the scenes was the business goal of recruiting for Letterbox, but this had become largely symbolic since the events became annual traditions.

Delete finished painting the wall, wiped the beads of sweat from his forehead, and plopped down on the floor.

“Ughhhh it’s so hot! This is unbearable! Why is it so humid?”

-There’s a typhoon coming tomorrow, though it’s a small one

└ The weather has no middle ground

    -Is it monsoon season already?

    -LMAO

-At least turn on a fan

-That would just blow dust everywhere

-30 degrees even in the evening in June;; weather’s gone crazy

    -Take it easy Delete

└ That’s probably what he means

-Should we stop here and watch TGBD?

“I can’t do any more, no, I won’t! For the second half of the year, I’ll hire professionals even if I have to pay out of pocket. Yeah, let’s watch TGBD now.”

    -Yesssss

    -Let’s go to Resonance

    -No we should watch World of Arsheria;;

    -WoA WoA WoA

    -No LoL?

    -When’s the after-party?

“The after-party is still on Sunday. Thankfully, this tournament went by without any major incidents. You know how I check my phone first thing every morning? Or even if I wake up in the middle of the night, I’m like ‘Please!’ and then sigh with relief. At this point, I just want the tournament to end quickly.”

    -Wasn’t last year pretty smooth?

    -LMAO

-What about Kariri? What about Kariri? What about Kariri?

-The WoA league was delayed by 3 days though

-Saying stuff like that always jinxes it LOL

    └ For real LOL

“Oh right, Kariri was there too. As I keep emphasizing to everyone, please don’t show up at streamers’ homes. You might not realize how serious it is until you face legal consequences, but even one day in a holding cell can drive you crazy.”

-← Says the guy who got arrested for self-defense LMAO

    -That’s some vivid testimony

-But Kariri is a minor, how will she attend the after-party?

“Oh, that’s why we’re planning to book a separate room for those who can’t drink alcohol if Kariri comes… Did you think I wouldn’t have thought of that after organizing this for 4 years?”

    -What about NoName? LOL

    -Oh…!

    -Oh

    -Is NoName really coming?

    “Oh, NoName?”

    Delete fell into contemplation.

Even with separate tables, it was still an after-party where alcohol and loud voices would be present.

While Kariri would become an adult in a few months, which could be overlooked, it seemed too early for a 14-year-old to attend.

    “Surely… she won’t come…”

-What if she does show up? LMAO

    -No contingency plan LOL

    -LMAO

    -Just give her Pororo juice

    └ OMG

└ That would be cute LOL

-I want to see NoName in person too!!!

“Anyway, I’ll think about that too. Wait, isn’t that NoName on screen? Why is she there…?”

    -?

    -?

    -Huh?

    -Didn’t you know?

    -She participated in two tournaments

-Why does the CEO know nothing? LMAO

-LOL did you really not know?

“Ah… she participated in two tournaments? Is that allowed?”

    -LMAO

-But you’re the one who hosted it!

    -LMAO

-Look at the state of this tournament LOL

-As long as it was fun, right?

-Wow the tank is so broken, no hotfix?

-Game crashed in 10 minutes LOL

Delete had been appearing on broadcast TV shows more frequently lately, so he was behind on news.

    Viewers kindly explained about NoName.

“I know that much, I watched the VTube. But what’s this about her appearing on Docu 4 Days? NoName?”

    It was puzzling information.

While he remembered visiting a pro gamer’s home and having dinner cooked by their mother, he definitely hadn’t met NoName personally.

The first set of the WoA tournament ended anticlimactically with “The Blory” team’s victory, and the topic had shifted to NoName.

While enjoying the cool air conditioning and carefully examining NoName’s Triwiki, Delete clapped his hands as if remembering something.

“Ah yes, I remember now! But she didn’t appear for long, just about 30 seconds or a minute at the very end. I didn’t edit that part.”

    -Yep

    -She wasn’t that famous then

-All 4 regular people who appeared then became streamers and won the Fall Tournament a year later

    -The butterfly effect is insane

-Hyebam’s avatar was weird back then…

-So Rachel ended up with 5 consecutive Fall Tournament runner-up finishes LOL

└ How did it end up like this? LMAO

-Why doesn’t NoName change her avatar?

-She’s still using the same one

    -She’s very consistent

Delete’s feeling toward NoName was definitely intrigue.

Content that has been consumed once is difficult to recycle.

Much of the struggle for content creation companies stems from this fact.

While viewers show strong aversion to repetitive content, they also completely ignore content that strays too far from established formats, so finding the middle ground is crucial.

That’s why videos of highest difficulty clears and speedrun records are always popular.

From the highlight edits, her streaming skills didn’t seem particularly polished, but sometimes talent alone can overshadow all other shortcomings.

Delete was too old to feel envious.

He leaned his upper body against the window, lit a cigarette, and put it in his mouth. The endlessly rising smoke melted into the quiet moment.

On the video transmitter against the night sky, the tournament’s second set was in full swing.

The moon gradually cleared away the dark clouds to reveal itself, and the faint stars adorned the empty spaces.

As if strongly insisting that one shouldn’t feel lonely looking at the moon, the stars twinkled along with the cigarette ember.

On screen, young men and women were grabbing swords and wands, intensely burning their youth.

    A desperation beyond determination.

The desperate desire for victory was palpable in every battle, enough to give goosebumps.

The storm created over the past week by players, coaches, and viewers would release all its energy in today’s finals and then dissipate as if it had never existed.

The quiet that follows used to seem unbearably boring to Delete, but as he aged, he didn’t mind such peace.

[Twish TV: A player is asking if they can play a video they brought during the MVP interview, what should we do?]

[DeLete: Is the MVP already decided?]

[Twish TV: For the Fall Tournament, we’ve already sent messages to players in each category to participate in the MVP ceremony.]

[DeLete: That’s fine. Probably received congratulatory videos from friends. They’re quick.]

[Twish TV: Okay, I’ll let them know. Thank you for your hard work, boss. And please quit smoking.]

[DeLete: Hey, who are you? Jieun? Am I still streaming?]

    “Seriously…”

Suddenly, a strong wind blew, making Delete’s bangs flutter.

Delete narrowed his eyes, quickly closed the window, and secured the safety latch. They said a typhoon was coming.

    * * *

    “Let me reconnect real quick.”

“Hmm… but you need to come back quickly.”

“10 minutes, no, 5 minutes should be fine, right?”

    “Yes, yes, hurry back.”

With the tournament official’s permission, I logged out.

    [NoName – Offline]

I quickly jumped out of the capsule and ran to the next room.

There, Yoonsul was already sitting on the capsule with her arms wide open to welcome me.

    “Come here, my puppy!”

    “What? Are you okay?”

“No…! It was a bit of a crisis. Really!”

Her flushed cheeks made it seem like she wasn’t lying.

“So are you going to help me or not?”

    “Fine. Just don’t pinch me.”

    “Of course not, hehe!”

I buried my face in her embrace and drew up the golden aura.

“You don’t have to push yourself if it’s hard, sis.”

“It’s fine! We’ve prepared so hard, we can’t back down now!”

    “Really?”

“Of course! And Name, if you don’t play properly, I might steal that MVP from you.”

“Then I’ll have to work hard. Maybe give you less healing.”

“Hey, you can’t do that! We need to win the game!”

Her slightly trembling body gradually stabilized.

I patted her back a couple of times and pushed her back into the capsule.

    “Ack!”

    “There you go.”

“Random thought, why aren’t there two-person capsules? Don’t you think they’d sell well? What do you think, Name?”

“Why would capsules need to fit two people?”

    “Because it would be fun!”

I decided to ignore Yoonsul’s nonsense.

“Phew, honestly, I’m super nervous. We really need to win set 3. What if we lose and end up with win-win-loss-loss-loss?”

“Don’t say such ominous things. And please follow my orders in set 3. I’m begging you.”

    “Yessir! Let’s try our best!”

“Don’t just try hard, do well.”

“Hehehe, okay okay. I’ll listen to you, Name.”

    She really needs a babysitter.

I felt a bit of self-loathing wondering if I really needed to go this far, but seeing Yoonsul’s bright smile softened that feeling a bit.

I closed the capsule door while listening to the angry wind rattling the windows.

The sweet strawberry scent tickled my nose, gradually making my consciousness hazy.

    [User Name: Welcome, NoName.]
