# The Deity of Pleasure
A deity inherently constructed as a shortcut to becoming an evil god, with its nature predetermined to be inclined toward “evil.”
Bacchus, who happened to discover this deity by chance, immediately glimpsed the malevolent potential hidden within it.
Therefore, being a rather virtuous god at the time, he (she) attempted to destroy or seal this deity—but for some reason, failed.
This was despite Bacchus clearly being a high-ranking god and a member of the 12 Major Gods.
Thus, to somehow dispose of this tremendous hazard, he brought the deity directly to the exclusive council chamber of the 12 Major Gods and requested their cooperation in destroying it.
Most of them recognized the power inherent in this “pleasure” at first glance and realized how immensely powerful—and equally dangerous—it was.
《Let’s try to use that.》
《Don’t speak such nonsense, Hermecus! I, Justitia-Astraea, cannot possibly allow this!》
However, the immense power corresponding to the deity’s danger captivated some of the 12 Major Gods. Eventually, the 12 Major Gods split into two factions regarding the treatment of this deity.
One faction supported using such powerful force to increase the pantheon’s authority, while the opposition insisted that such an outrageous act could not be permitted under any circumstances.
Justitia-Astraea, Bacchus, and Jupiterius stood in opposition, while the remaining nine Major Gods supported the proposal.
Three Major Gods who discerned the terrifying potential danger hidden in the Deity of Pleasure argued that this power must be eliminated somehow.
Meanwhile, the nine Major Gods who recognized the corresponding power dwelling within pleasure attempted to obtain that power for the prosperity of the pantheon.
As both sides confronted each other with their own valid and reasonable logic, the opinions between the two factions could not be reconciled.
However, given that even the notoriously frivolous womanizer Jupiterius had, unprecedentedly, taken a serious stance in opposition—
The 12 Major Gods, who had originally been deities captivated by the great god Jupiterius, would normally have followed the opinion of their respected relative deity.
However… the nine Major Gods, who had already been half-overtaken by the deity as the latent dangers of the Pleasure Deity manifested, were different.
Addicted to the overwhelming pleasure supplied by the Deity of Pleasure, the nine Major Gods became like drug addicts, their reason clouded.
As their original purpose of the pantheon’s prosperity became distorted, they crossed the line for the sake of the pleasure provided by the Deity of Pleasure.
《Y-you all! What, what is this?!!》
CLANG!!!
《You talk too much, self-proclaimed ‘justice’.》
First, they attacked Justitia-Astraea, who was famous for her unyielding and stubborn attitude even in normal times, with the nine Major Gods combining their strength.
Justitia-Astraea was evaluated as one of the top powers in the pantheon, one of the three Major Gods positioned directly below Jupiterius.
Especially due to the characteristics of the justice deity that grows stronger when facing evil, Justitia-Astraea fought remarkably well against nine gods.
But unfortunately, her opponents were too wicked.
The difference between her, who intended to capture and judge them after hearing the full story, and the nine gods who didn’t care if they had to kill her—
The battle ultimately ended in Justitia’s defeat, unable to overcome the numerical disadvantage. Captured in a battered state, she ended up in a terrible condition.
While she was unconscious from the pain of having her soul shattered into pieces, they brought her into contact with the Deity of Pleasure, distorting and twisting her original personality.
As a result, by the time her shattered soul recovered, Justitia-Astraea had become merely a puppet moved by pleasure.
After forcibly corrupting and drawing in Justitia-Astraea, their next target was Bacchus… but in truth, he wasn’t particularly frightening.
The deities he governed weren’t strong or militarily significant; far from being exceptionally powerful, he was actually considered the weakest of the 12 Major Gods.
《Y-you all… have you fallen… fallen so far…?》
Therefore, dealing with Bacchus didn’t take very long.
To neutralize him (her) who was shocked by what the nine Major Gods had done to Justitia-Astraea, they simply attacked from behind, surrounded, and beat him until he was incapacitated.
However, these nine Major Gods had a separate use for Bacchus, so they left him (her) with a shattered soul, bound and abandoned—
《So, you have to die.》
《Sorry, Father. It’s not intentional.》
《I’m sorry, dear.》
《……..》
Eventually, the nine Major Gods and the puppet god being controlled—Justitia—finally rebelled and surrounded the great god Jupiterius.
《You all… have finally… CROSSED THE LINE!!!》
He roared with thunderous fury that echoed in all directions, his expression contorted with rage as he unleashed blue lightning without restraint.
The family he trusted and relied on more deeply than anyone—the 12 Major Gods—had attacked him just because they wanted that kind of deity.
Moreover, they had reduced Justitia-Astraea to such a state.
His body trembled with anger, and his emotions flowed out wildly in the form of power.
RUMBLE!!!
In an instant, the clouds where the pantheon was located turned black, the blue sky darkened and became gloomy and dim.
As an enormous amount of dark clouds formed high in the sky, changes occurred with endless downpours and lightning strikes.
The Sky God (天神), the ruler of the sky itself, born as the monarch of all pantheon deities.
Jupiterius, who exuded his majesty without restraint, grasped his weapon, the blue lightning, in his hand and hurled it at those who dared to rebel against him—
Immediately afterward, having expended all his strength, he was beaten and subdued by 10 high-ranking gods.
Even the supreme god could not exceed his limits.

Indeed, Jupiterius achieved feats worthy of the name of supreme god.
He trapped Justitia-Astraea in a special dark cloud to subdue her, and fried Makius and Vulcanus crisp with lightning, killing them once.
He also pierced through Phobos and Iris with his lightning spear, killing them, and as he was dying, tore Hermecus apart with his bare hands.
However, killing six gods was his limit. After tearing apart Hermecus, he collapsed from exhaustion—
What happened afterward was the original sin of all this.
Eventually, these 10 gods who somehow revived decided, after much deliberation, to thoroughly exploit Jupiterius.
They would remodel his original residence, the Divine King’s Palace (神王宮), into a site of exploitation.
The Divine King’s Palace, once Jupiterius’s comfortable home, became a prison designed solely to confine and exploit him.
The 10 Major Gods restrained him on a mechanical throne and exploited the faith and divinity Jupiterius received, using it in various ways.
They divided the faith equally among the 10 Major Gods, each taking 10%, and consumed the divinity to create subordinates who would follow them.
And to utilize his authority and power, they created an impostor to publicly represent him, completely preserving the real Jupiterius—that was the end of it.
In an instant, Jupiterius went from being the rightful and great God-Lord of all pantheon deities to becoming a public faith-producing machine.
Meanwhile, Bacchus faced a slightly different fate.
Although these gods had succumbed to the temptation of the Deity of Pleasure, they could all still recognize the malignancy contained within it.
A deep anxiety—that if they simply accepted that deity into their hearts, they would eventually completely lose control to it.
Unable to shake off the anxiety stemming from that fear, yet unable to give up the power, the traitors came up with an astounding solution.
First, the Deity of Pleasure itself would be divided among the 10 Major Gods excluding Bacchus, but they wouldn’t absorb it as they would other deities.
In other words, they would use Bacchus as a filter to strain out the malignancy contained in pleasure.
The power they would gain would be less than if they had simply absorbed it, but it was better than being taken over and transformed into something else.
That’s what the 12 Major Gods thought… but in retrospect, this was the worst choice they could have made.
This was the beginning of the birth of “Pleasure” that would collapse the entire pantheon.
