Ch.177Determination

Christine, without hesitation, flapped her angelic wings and charged at Olivia the moment she confirmed her location.

What was the purpose of performing a miracle to clean up the entire area in the first place? There was no reason to waste time on small fry when the woman who deserved to be torn to pieces was right there.

No matter if she killed a million or ten million of those insignificant creatures, it would all be meaningless as long as that heretic who dared touch her god remained alive and breathing.

Therefore, now that the heretic’s location was known, it was only right to drop everything and attack.

Divine power gathered in Christine’s fist. The holy energy condensed so thickly that it nearly obscured her hand, radiating an unmistakable sacred presence.

“Do you really think someone like you can defeat me?”

    “Shut your mouth.”

Whether she could win or not wasn’t important. For Christine, whose eyes had rolled back in rage the moment she spotted Olivia, charging forward was the only option.

She had just one target: that heretic’s womb.

She felt an overwhelming urge to smash that womb that had sacrilegiously carried the seed of her god, to pulverize that lower abdomen until nothing remained.

Or perhaps to extract the uterus with her bare hands, hold it before the heretic’s eyes, and crush it while she watched. Since that woman had defiled her god, such punishment was only fitting.

Noticing where Christine’s eyes were fixed, one corner of Olivia’s mouth curled upward. Instead of countering the punch, she placed her left hand over her womb and gently caressed it.

“I forgot to ask this question. What should we name our baby? Would you like to suggest a name as well?”

“I’ll tear that mouth of yours first.”

This time, Christine barely managed to hold back vulgar curses as she accelerated through the air once more, charging toward Olivia.

A faint afterimage trailed behind her. It appeared because Christine’s divine power reacted to the minute traces of black mana scattered in the air, purifying them.

Olivia had actually planned not to have a baby for about 100,000 years to enjoy their honeymoon atmosphere, so her words were purely meant to provoke, but Christine didn’t know that.

Even if she had known, it wouldn’t have changed anything.

“Oh right, you don’t even know my master’s name, do you? And yet you call him ‘my god’?”

With a thunderous boom that shook heaven and earth, Christine and Olivia’s fists collided.

Christine had extended her right hand aiming for Olivia’s lower abdomen, while Olivia had stretched out her left hand to block Christine’s fist.

The divine power emanating from the angel’s wings couldn’t penetrate the black mana surrounding Olivia. A buffer zone of divine power and black mana formed in the space between them.

The other hand targeting the womb was also blocked by Olivia. With both arms restrained, Christine summoned more divine power.

The power struggle continued. Their arms trembled slightly. At first glance, it seemed like an evenly matched contest, but the reality was somewhat different.

While Olivia maintained a composed expression with a mocking smile, Christine was so filled with rage to the tips of her hair that she couldn’t properly assess the situation.

    “…!”

The gap between them soon became visible. Christine’s fists were gradually pushed back. The distance between her and her target—the womb containing her god’s seed—grew wider.

“My master is your god? Someone like you?”

Olivia’s words were mixed with a disturbing noise.

It was a noise that sent chills down the spine and created discomfort, like someone frantically scraping a metal bowl with a metal spoon.

“He’s MY master. He’s my master alone, a master just for me! Lowly, useless, filthy, vulgar things like you shouldn’t even dare to look at him, shouldn’t be able to. Absolutely not. And yet you dare say ‘my god’? Unforgivable. Unforgivable. Unforgivable. Unforgivable. Hee, heeheeheehee, heeheeheeheeheeheehee…”

A bizarre laughter erupted, and the strength in her hands suddenly increased.

Christine desperately tried to extend her fists, but she could only manage to prevent her wrists from being twisted or broken. She couldn’t advance at all.

“Yes. In this world, my master and I are enough, aren’t we? I’ll preserve creatures like you forever in space, destroy the world, and live happily with my master. Yes, just imagining it excites me. Maybe it’s because I’ve experienced it once, but my lower abdomen is throbbing again. Heehee, ah, my master must be waiting. I need to hurry back after preserving you. Yes, let’s do that. Let’s finish this quickly and go back.”

While Christine was straining with all her might not to lose the power struggle, an unpleasant sound reached her ears. It was the horrific screams of demons.

There was no need to look around. The divine power spreading widely warned her that demons were once again emerging from the ground.

“You’ll be raped by those demons here. Your mouth, your vagina, your ass, all of them. And my master and I will make love while watching you scream as you’re being raped by demons. Oh, but my master won’t be able to see you. He can only see me. He can only hear my voice, smell my scent, touch my body. I can’t let him be defiled by hearing the screams of someone like you. Right? That’s how it is, right? Right? Right? Right?”

Wings began to sprout from Olivia’s back. The scattered black mana gathered near her wing bones, gradually growing in size while forming a shape similar to Christine’s.

However, there was a crucial difference. While the wings on Christine’s back strongly evoked an angel, the wings on Olivia’s back strongly evoked a demon.

Even the number was the same, making it easy to guess why Olivia had created wings on her back.

The black wings fully spread. An extremely dark and unpleasant wave, contrasting with Christine’s white divine power, emanated from the two pairs of wings.

    Black mana.

While Christine wasn’t having her life force drained, she also couldn’t prevent the black blood demons that had somehow filled the ground from rampaging wildly.

The demons covered in black mana spreading from the wings were literally going berserk, losing all reason.

Yet the fact that they didn’t recklessly attack suggested that Olivia’s order had not yet been given.

“I’ll trample that pride of yours, over and over again.”

Olivia applied force to her hands and sent Christine flying backward. It happened so quickly that even Christine herself couldn’t grasp how her body had been pushed back.

The wings of divine power glowed. Christine flipped her body. From a position with her chest facing the sky and her back toward the ground, she reversed to having her chest face the ground and her back toward the sky.

Then, crossing her arms in front of her face, she accelerated and crashed into the center of the demon horde. She pierced through four demon bodies as large as buildings at once.

Even that wasn’t enough to absorb the impact, as she completely destroyed another demon’s body behind them before her feet could touch the ground.

Purifying all the demon corpses that had touched her body while summoning divine power, Christine looked for Olivia again, erupting with rage.

Olivia was flapping her four pairs of wings, looking down at the ground from the sky. Christine’s expression twisted beyond recognition when she saw the wings.

The reason that heretic had gone to the trouble of creating wings to face Christine was undoubtedly to break Christine’s pride along with defeating her.

Olivia’s actions were neither arrogance nor conceit. The power that heretic possessed had reached a level that made it entirely possible.

Though she hated to admit it, Christine had no choice but to acknowledge that she was only equal in skill to that heretic at best.

    “So that’s where you were.”

However, that didn’t mean Christine was intimidated or would be defeated.

Unlike last time, when she was nearly incapacitated with her internal organs almost destroyed from just one kick to the stomach and then beaten nearly to death afterward, the current Christine was still intact.

She had strength, ability, and will. She lacked nothing.

Christine’s task was simple: tear that heretic to pieces and reclaim her god.

“I will crush your filthy body now.”

At Olivia’s gesture, hordes of demons attacked. About half were larger than decent-sized buildings, and among the remaining half, not a single one was smaller than Christine.

    “Come at me.”
