Of course, when Icarus first posted his verification shot and post, the reaction wasn’t particularly explosive.

    Title: Won 5 vs 1

    Author: Icarus

Content: [Surrender treaty verification image], [Image of destroyed ship debris visible from the command center]

Thought I was going to die

    That was tough

    Comments:

    -[What the hell is this?]

    -[How did you do it?]

-[Seriously, how did you pull that off?]

-[5:1 is ridiculous for ranked lol]

    -[Impressive]

    —————————————-

It was just an ordinary reaction at the level of “wow, that’s amazing” and nothing more.

But just a few minutes later.

Title: Hey, I made a gif of the Rank 3 battle lololol

Just watch and tell me what you think

I personally think it’s fucking awesome

An anonymous user with an unknown identity suddenly posted a video that “appropriately” edited the battle between Icarus and the Unity Clan.

Naturally, unlike Icarus’s original post that only included verification shots and results without any battle scenes…

From the initial invasion of the 5-person clan to the final scene where the pirate fleet appears and launches indiscriminate bombardment.

When the video appeared—with all the boring parts removed and only battle scenes compiled—the gallery users were absolutely shocked.

Title: Wait, was this game realistically capable of 1:5 battles?

    Author: Chupacabra

    Content: [Battle video gif]

How the hell did he do this?

Looking at the number of ships in the video, Icarus’s fleet was smaller from the start lol

    Comments:

-[Seriously, how did he do it?]

-[This is insane, what’s with that carrier aircraft control?]

    -[That Kraken is crazy strong]

    —————————————-

Title: Highlights of Rank 3’s insane maneuvers in this video

    Author: Anonymous

Content: [Image of Kraken charging toward a light carrier]

As soon as he tied up the main fleet with about 400 ships including 7 battle cruisers

He pretended to retreat then ambushed the light carrier user lol

Even though his own fleet was getting shredded in the artillery battle, he immediately rammed into the light carrier without a moment’s hesitation, changing the course of the battle

    Comments:

    -[Hmm, is it that impressive?]

    -˪[Yes]

-˪[It’s incredibly impressive. If you watch, a third of his fleet was shredded by the clan that pushed through with battle cruisers after attacking the main fleet](Author)

-˪[If you time when he rammed the light carrier, he made the best possible decision without any hesitation, accepting the damage](Author)

    -˪[Oh]

Title: What the hell is that pirate fleet in the latter part of the video?

    Author: Anonymous

Content: [Gif of pirate fleet unleashing firepower immediately after teleporting]

I roughly counted and there seem to be at least 4,000 ships

Did he spend all his resources to build this as soon as the mercenary business was normalized?

    Comments:

-[Just immediately taking advantage of the mercenary business normalization]

-˪[Cheers to the five words: clan member extermination]

    -[But seriously, I don’t think that’s it]

    -˪[Huh?](Author)

-˪[Each mercenary unit has fewer than 20 ships of all classes combined]

-˪[And hiring just 10 mercenary units without cruisers costs at least 10,000 minerals upfront]

-˪[But if there are over 4,000 ships, you’d need at least 200 mercenary units minimum, or up to 500+]

-˪[Did you see in the video that the pirate fleet includes not just cruisers but battle cruisers too?]

-˪[If those are included, the number needed goes up even more]

-˪[This is impossible unless you can pay over 600,000 minerals upfront]

Title: Everyone’s talking about the fleet battle, but the superhuman pool is also insane as expected of a ranker

    Author: Vitamin

Content: [Gif of superhumans’ struggles visible in small parts of the video]

He boarded ships when ambushing the light carrier fleet

During the base siege, he seized 5 ships in succession, creating a small fleet right in the middle of enemy territory

And in the defensive battle later, though they were pushed back due to being outnumbered 5:1

In other words, despite all 5 users’ superhumans attacking, and even opening another route for assault

His superhuman pool was strong enough to endure all that

He should be considered #1 in the central zone, which is basically a demon’s lair

    Comments:

-[Wow, I actually saw verification shots from one of the clan members before, and they definitely had an SSS-rank superhuman]

-˪[So this guy didn’t just survive because of high rank, but endured against at least 5 SSS-rank superhumans?]

-˪[You’re right, there might be even more than what we saw in the video](Author)

    —————————————-

Title: I’ve compiled a list of superhumans from Icarus’s video

    Author: Anonymous

Content: [Gif of missile-torpedo teleport bombing]

While many superhumans appear in the video, I’ll only mention those I’m certain belong to Icarus’s side

[Gif of Ignis jumping between ships, acrobatically swinging her twin swords to cut passing carrier aircraft in half]

    1. Ignis, SS-rank

[Screenshot of a muscular nun striking a chain axe into a ship]

    2. Partia, SSS-rank

[Screenshot of a nun smiling as she destroys a battle cruiser with a massive particle beam]

    3. Pashtra, SSS-rank

[Image of Griyanar transformed into a giant monster, crushing a destroyer’s deck while infiltrating, but only her back is visible]

    4. Not sure what this is, but appears to be a monster-type superhuman, probably S-rank or higher

[Image of Berial commanding a doll army while looking proudly over the battlefield]

    5. Berial, SSS-rank

[Blurry image of Oxianor during the base defense, only showing her body]

    6. Also seems to be a monster or Xenovia hero, estimated S-rank or higher

And during the base defense, the clan users seem to have deployed at least five SSS-rank and 15-20 S-rank or higher superhumans

So there’s a high possibility that there were more inside the base than the six I mentioned

    Comments:

    -[Wow, why so many SSS-ranks?]

-[I felt bad for this guy because his ship gacha luck seemed terrible, but I guess that’s not a problem anymore]

-˪[Seems like he got character buffs to make up for his ship failures]

-[But isn’t that character luck too overpowered?]

-˪[This guy is a returning player, so he got heroes that were in hibernation in his base with each base upgrade](Author)

-˪[Plus returning players get guaranteed character draws as compensation, so many start with at least one S-rank]

    -˪[Really?]

-˪[So if he’s at level 6 now, did he get one with each level up?]

-˪[No, after level 5, one opens up every 5 base levels lol](Author)

    -˪[That’s quite specific]

    —————————————-

All kinds of reactions erupted like this, but overall, the majority were “Icarus praise posts.”

If Icarus himself had been watching the gallery, he would have been overwhelmed by the pressure.

Fortunately or unfortunately, he had closed the gallery and was focusing on his own tasks, so he didn’t respond at all.

As a result, with the subject not responding, the gallery’s discussion focused on analyzing the battle between Icarus and the clan.

And in that process, for some unknown reason…

    —————————————-

-[I barely survived against some jerks 2:1, please help me survive 3:1 next time]

    -[Is this the holy site?]

-[I beseech thee, grant me the power to destroy those bastards who come at me 3:1 without taking damage]

    -˪[A ranker is begging here]

-[Making my pilgrimage to the holy site^^ Please help me win against multiple opponents too~]

    -[This is the holy site!]

    —————————————-

Suddenly, Icarus’s verification post in the gallery became a kind of holy site for numerous “solo” players to express their wishes to win against multiple opponents.
