Now, the only thing left in the swamp is the sub-quest exploration achievement.

While I’m at it, my goal is to complete the sub-quest by exploring 80% of the area and then reach 100% to unlock the hidden quest.

As I headed down toward the swamp area, I stopped by the Naru tribe and found they were making excellent progress with their settlement.

“Master! The Naru tribe is working hard!”

“Good, good. Let me know if you need anything.”

    “The meat is so delicious.”

    “You should eat meat occasionally.”

    “Yesss!”

The Naru tribe had started wearing the clothes that Kim Su-jeong brought in large quantities, and they looked quite good in them.

Well, with half-elven blood flowing through their veins, what wouldn’t look good on them?

From the tall, refreshing physiques of the half-elves to the slightly childlike builds like Chunsik, the clothes just naturally suited them.

Even though they were just cheap clothes probably bought in bulk from Dongdaemun, their style made me feel a bit jealous.

Without the swamp mud smeared all over them, their fair skin stood out even more, making me feel like a squid among a group of handsome men and beautiful women.

If I weren’t a character in Farming World, I might have sent them back to the swamp out of an inferiority complex.

“Master, I don’t want to wear this. It’s uncomfortable.”

“…Alright… If it’s uncomfortable, you shouldn’t wear it. Wear what’s comfortable. Be comfortable.”

    Chunbong handed me her underwear.

Fortunately, she only handed me her top underwear and was still wearing panties.

Come to think of it, when I first met the Naru tribe, they went around with mud caked all over their bodies but never covered their chests.

They did wear something to protect their lower parts, whether from chafing or whatever reason, which served as panties. They seemed to wear pants and tops because Kim Su-jeong told them to, but bras were apparently uncomfortable.

The natural shape of breasts visible through clothes really makes one think bad thoughts.

Lewd? In response to the Naru tribe’s innocence of such concepts, I just took the underwear and handed it back.

“Use this as a pillow. To make things a bit softer.”

    “Yesss!”

What’s the point of teaching human civilization, etiquette, or habits to half-elves who’ve lived here their whole lives?

It’s not like I’m taking them to Earth to live. I just need to teach them enough to survive on the farm.

Besides, from my perspective, it wasn’t a bad thing.

If this were a game I played alone, I probably would have just had the Naru tribe wash up and let them go about their activities without clothes.

It’s not that I’m not interested in women.

I just find it more interesting to develop and cultivate this one unique dimensional rift in front of me than to satisfy sexual desires.

After checking on the Naru tribe after a long time, I properly resumed exploring the swamp.

The swamp, which I hadn’t visited in a while, somehow felt empty.

Between the swamp alligators and blood eels, I must have hunted quite a lot, reducing their overall numbers, and with the Black Swamp gone, all that remained were the original monsters.

Still, with the top predators of the swamp significantly reduced, I could see other lower-ranked monsters that inhabited the swamp moving around.

There was nothing particularly worthwhile to hunt, so I just left them alone.

Just because I conquer a Level 1 biome and complete all the novice explorer achievements doesn’t mean the Level 1 biome disappears.

It still exists and will continue to exist, creating new food chain dynamics that will persist.

Though I did feel like I overdid it with the Corrupted Forest, trying to level up my purification cauldron.

The chaotic energy here was limited to resources like the Black Swamp.

Of course, I’ll still harvest the corrupted resources here.

    “Blood eels! Meat! Stamina boosters!”

Since I’ve been enjoying the sweet rewards of expensive resources for a while, I should get back to basics and do some grinding.

With more mouths to feed, I’ll need more resources.

Even after playing Farming World for 10 years, I don’t really know what I’ll need.

The best approach in Farming World is to harvest everything and store it in the warehouse for when you need it, rather than trying to remember where to find specific resources each time.

I do remember the truly important or essential resources, but there are so many types that it’s impossible to remember them all.

So I harvest everything I can.

Fortunately, while the 35 slots in my belt often become insufficient when harvesting resources, I now have the login/logout dimensional exchange subspace where I can dump everything.

10P. Plus, the purified ice spirit liquor enhances the login/logout skill effect, expanding the storage to 13P, allowing me to stuff corrupted resources and other useful swamp resources into it.

“…Oppa, are you planning a mud festival or something?”

Kim Su-jeong asked as she watched me gathering and dumping everything into the legendary box.

Corrupted mud and resources, traces of blood eels, all pouring into the open box like a waterfall.

    “Ah! Damn. I forgot.”

    “What?”

    “Disposing of the bodies.”

Looking at the blood eels reminded me belatedly.

Because I had the subspace, I didn’t bring items in my belt when I came, so I forgot about emptying it.

I can’t believe I completely forgot about the Dark Site assassins I put in there.

I had even put them in the bottom slots—34 and 35—because it felt creepy, and when I took out my belt, I didn’t notice them because my eyes didn’t reach the end due to the empty middle slots.

    “Damn it.”

I’d spent all day harvesting in the swamp, and now it was getting dark, and I didn’t feel like going back.

Should I bury them near the farm?

I couldn’t tolerate burying such filth on my farm.

    Should I butcher them?

Butchering and burning the remains would be clean, but that also seemed like a hassle.

Killing people who threatened me is one thing—it’s like killing any other monster—but butchering them feels like becoming a human-slaughtering butcher, which doesn’t sit well with me.

With other monsters, butchering yields meat or leather or something useful, but butchering these two assassins would only produce human meat.

From other monsters’ perspective, humans might be nutritious snacks, but not for me.

So I decided to leave it to professional handlers.

    “Hey, monkeys. Come here.”

The Black Monkeys come to our farm to work in the morning.

After working until the afternoon, the monkeys go home, and around the end of the workday, five monkeys arrive at the farm.

This was the new night watch, set up to prevent other monsters from invading or prowling around the farm. Five monkeys stand guard for six hours, then another five come at dawn, and they continue until the morning monkeys arrive for work.

Nothing special usually happens, but just in case.

The Black Monkeys don’t complain about standing guard since they’re protecting the chief’s home.

    “Chief! You called?”

One Black Monkey approached and asked.

I took out the two corpses and threw them.

They were somewhat decomposed, but not to the point of being unrecognizable as humans, probably because they were in my belt.

    “Dead humans! Kiki!”

“Do you eat ones this spoiled?”

“Kik! Human corpses. Delicious. Kik kik! But since human became chief, we no longer hunt humans! Kik!”

“Right. You’re doing well, but I’m asking if you eat these.”

    “Humans are delicious!”

“Then take them and eat them. Don’t eat them here—eat them in your forest and clean up afterward.”

    “Thank you, Chief!!”

    “Kiki.”

    “It’s a midnight snack!”

The Black Monkeys happily took the two smelly corpses.

Just in time for the shift change, more Black Monkeys were arriving as the ones with the corpses disappeared.

    “Phew. That’s convenient.”

I wonder if this is how it feels to have a garbage disposal at home.

No need to bury or throw away anything—just give it to them, and they’ll pick the bones clean, leaving no trace.

In reality, I could have dumped the bodies anywhere in the dimensional rift, and some monster would have smelled them and come to eat them, so I just saved some time.

    “This is a scary place.”

It suddenly occurred to me that I might be the most dangerous assassin on Earth.

If there’s someone I don’t like, I don’t need to deal with them the hard way—I could just bring them to the dimensional rift for a moment, finish them off, and return without leaving any evidence or trace.

Even with Kang Seong-jun, I probably didn’t need to go through the trouble of leaving a video showing him being killed by a monster.

I could have just sent him to the dimensional rift when he was out of his party members’ sight, creating a disappearance that even his party wouldn’t understand.

I realized anew how valuable the position of master of the dimensional rift—master of the highest dimension—truly is.

Realizations aside, I spent two more days roaming the swamp and achieved the novice explorer achievement.
