Ch.174Unexpected Situation (1)
by fnovelpia
Not all newlyweds are like this, but most newlyweds are incredibly lovey-dovey, as the expression goes.
If you’ve been dating for a long time, things might be different, but this usually describes the joy of discovering aspects of your lover that you didn’t know before.
And just as it was with Marie, life in the palace with Cecilly was similar. The difference was that while Marie and I spent a very brief honeymoon at our mansion, Cecilly and I were together throughout the entire vacation.
Actually, I was only engaged to Marie, not married, so it’s awkward to call it a honeymoon. The same applies to Cecilly, and unlike Marie, she doesn’t even have an official relationship with me.
But our days flew by quickly as we cherished and comforted each other, comparable to a honeymoon. Being at our passionate peak, we often headed to the bedroom just from making eye contact, and even when we weren’t doing that, we spent much more time with our bodies pressed together.
The difference from Marie might be that Cecilly seeks emotional stability more than pleasure, though pleasure is important too. On our first night, she preferred pleasure due to her dark cycle, but from the next day on, she focused more on simply being connected with me.
Because of this, she was satisfied just embracing each other. The problem is that I can’t stand it when her large breasts press against me.
Anyway, while Marie, who has awakened to sexual desire, craves pleasure, Cecilly seeks emotional connection. It’s not my imagination that their positions seem reversed.
“So compared to Marie and me, who feels better?”
“Hey now. That’s not a question you should ask.”
I pinched Cecilly’s cheek gently while scolding her sternly. I knew she was joking, but I’d rather avoid such sensitive questions.
Currently, we were enjoying a date in the palace garden. We had settled in a quiet spot for a brief rest.
After finding a place, I comfortably laid my head on Cecilly’s thigh as she sat demurely. I could feel the softness of her thigh against my head through her clothes.
“Hehe. Was my joke too much?”
Cecilly asked as she gently held my hand when I pinched her cheek. I immediately opened my hand and caressed her cheek affectionately.
When I touched her cheek lovingly, she pressed her face against my hand as if wanting to feel it more. The soft sensation of her cheek was distinctly felt against my hand.
As I explained earlier, Cecilly particularly enjoys physical contact. She prioritized connecting with me even without necessarily having sex.
I heard that just being able to feel my presence brings her peace of mind. Thanks to this, I was reminded again of how deeply she had fallen for me.
Initially, I thought she gave her body and heart to me because I was the author of Biography of Xenon, but over time, like Marie, Cecilly came to like me as a person more and more.
I gently caressed her cheek and then moved my face under her thigh to see her expression. Right now, my view was completely blocked by two massive mounds of fat, making it impossible to see her face.
But due to their enormous size, I still couldn’t see Cecilly’s face even after changing position. That’s how impressively large her chest was.
‘Didn’t Marie say something about not being able to see her feet when she looks down?’
It was a struggle I’d heard about from Marie before. Especially when going down stairs, she had to be careful because she couldn’t see below. I wondered how much worse it must be for Cecilly.
If I couldn’t see her face even while using her knee as a pillow, she must essentially give up on seeing anything below her.
“Noona.”
“Yes?”
“Can you see my face?”
“Your face?”
Cecilly murmured in a puzzled voice at my question, then slowly bent her upper body down. Naturally, those enormous breasts also approached my face.
Anticipating what was about to happen, I slowly closed my eyes.
*Squish*
Eventually, Cecilly smothered my face with her breasts. A different kind of peace came over me as I felt their sensation vividly even through her black dress.
After a few seconds like that, Cecilly seemed to realize what happened and hurriedly pulled back her upper body in surprise.
“S-sorry! Are you okay? Were you suffocating?”
“Don’t worry. I was holding my breath because I knew this would happen.”
“What? You really…”
Seeing through my glib response, Cecilly grumbled as if I’d done it on purpose. A slight laugh escaped me.
She had always been playful with me even after becoming my lover, so I wanted to tease her back at least once.
But I quickly realized that when it came to pranks, I was no match for Cecilly.
*Plop*
“How about it? Want to play another prank?”
“Mmph! Mmph!”
Cecilly deliberately lowered her upper body. Being caught off guard, I could only struggle beneath the two massive mountains.
If this continued, I might actually suffocate to death, so I tapped her arm repeatedly. Seeing my urgent response, she let out a suggestive moan before raising her upper body.
“Hah!”
“If Issac wants, I can do more. But…”
While I caught my breath, she placed her hand on my chest. Then she slowly moved it downward until it reached my abdomen.
Finally, as her hand was about to go below my abdomen to a sensitive area, I quickly grabbed her wrist.
I couldn’t see Cecilly’s expression because her breasts blocked my view, but I imagined she was disappointed.
“No. No matter what, please restrain yourself outside. Someone might see us.”
“Couldn’t we hide ourselves with magic?”
It seemed Cecilly wanted a different kind of connection. However, I wanted to decline for now. I had just received holy power from Mora and didn’t want to waste it needlessly.
I slowly got up from Cecilly’s knee and faced her directly. She was pouting with her lips, expressing her dissatisfaction.
If she were an ordinary human woman, it might have taken time to appease her, but Cecilly is a demon.
There’s one particularly effective method for demons.
*Stroke*
“…Mmm.”
That is, stroking her horns.
As soon as I reached out and stroked her horns, Cecilly’s expression softened. She even leaned her face against my chest.
Looking like a cat seeking affection, I smiled gently while stroking her horns.
I explained this long ago, but horns have no sensation. Even if they break, demons only recognize that they’ve broken without feeling any pain. Incidentally, broken horns regrow within a day.
However, for demons, “horns” are essentially symbols of their demonic nature. Lovingly stroking them implies that you would passionately love them even if they became demons.
It’s a romantic cultural practice unique to demons who have suffered for ages.
‘At night though…’
It feels somewhat peculiar that I used these horns with such beautiful cultural significance as “handles.” Cecilly told me that they’re actually used for such purposes too.
I looked down at Cecilly, who was purring like a cat against my chest. She had her eyes closed, savoring the feeling of my hand caressing her horns.
Though there’s no sensation, there must be a unique feeling, which is why she closes her eyes to concentrate on it.
“Ahh… Issac’s scent… I love it so much…”
“…”
“I want to stay like this forever. Just like this.”
Cecilly’s voice grew deeper as she inhaled my scent. Glancing at her horns, I saw they were filled with black.
It’s clear that her dark cycle, when inner evil surges, is separate from sexual desire. I pulled her head away from my chest before things got out of hand.
Even as I pushed her away, Cecilly looked at me with moist eyes. They seemed to convey her wish to be pampered a bit more.
‘She looks different like this.’
While Marie stirs my heart with her vibrant personality, Cecilly’s demeanor calms it down.
Like throwing a stone into a still lake creates ripples, even the slightest stimulation in that state creates a significant resonance in my heart.
“Mmm…”
“Sigh…”
I sighed deeply at Cecilly, who was begging with her finger in her mouth. What man could refuse such pleading?
So I spread my arms wide and said to her:
“Want a hug?”
“Yes!”
With her answer, Cecilly rushed into my arms. As if determined never to let go, she hugged me tightly and rubbed her face against my chest.
It seems just having her horns stroked wasn’t enough. I slowly caressed her back, feeling her body heat.
‘If she loves me this much, when I die…’
Suddenly, her unhappy future came to mind. I am a human with a short lifespan, and she is a demon with longevity.
Due to our lifespan difference, even when I grow old and die, she will continue living just as she is now. Can she handle that sorrow?
One of the main reasons demons transform into devils is the death of a loved one. Demons are adept at managing anger, but not sorrow.
‘…I should create plenty of memories for her to cherish.’
As I told her, creating cherished memories rather than regrets might make her less sad. I closed my eyes slowly, savoring Cecilly’s delicate body.
I wished time would stop, but cruelly, time cannot be stopped. After a while of embracing each other for comfort, we faced each other.
Cecilly was looking at me with a happy smile like a new bride.
“…Issac.”
“Yes, Noona.”
“As I’ve always said, my body and heart are entirely yours. So you can do whatever you want with them. Understand?”
Cecilly placed her hand on my cheek and spoke these affectionate words. It wasn’t just talk; she was prepared to give everything to me at any time.
At first, I thought it was because I was the author of Biography of Xenon, but not anymore. She was ready to devote herself to me as a person.
A woman I couldn’t help but fall for, though in a different way from Marie. I smiled gently and spoke quietly:
“I feel a bit sorry for only receiving. Is there anything you want, Noona?”
“To be your legal wife?”
“That’s a bit…”
Though I’ve fallen deeply for Cecilly, my love for Marie hasn’t cooled at all. Moreover, Marie is probably waiting alone right now, so I feel apologetic in many ways.
As I trailed off with a bitter smile, Cecilly giggled. Then, with her characteristic playfulness, she said:
“I’m joking. I should yield the position of legal wife to Marie. After all, I was able to be with you because Marie yielded to me.”
“Thank you. For yielding.”
“What are you thanking me for? I’m the one who should be grateful. *Kiss*”
Cecilly said this and gave me a light kiss. Her lovable aegyo made me laugh softly.
“Still, I sometimes wonder. What if I had met you earlier?”
“Well, honestly, nothing would have changed. Marie liked me even before she knew I was Xenon.”
“That’s not what I meant. I wish I had met you as a person earlier. Your non-discriminatory gaze and considerate heart would have been the same from the past. Ah, not from childhood, but maybe just 3 years earlier.”
Marie would have been shocked if she heard this. Though half-joking, it seemed like Cecilly was eyeing Marie’s position by my side.
Of course, knowing Cecilly’s personality, I’m confident she wouldn’t do that. If she had decided to push Marie away, she would have done so long ago.
She knows best that they’ve each yielded to each other once. But the need to balance between the two remains.
“Try not to say such things in front of Marie. Once suspicion arises, it tends to grow endlessly.”
“I have some tact. But shouldn’t I give her a sense of caution? That if her affection for Issac cools, I’ll snatch him away. I’m deliberately stirring up jealousy.”
“Hmm…”
Marie being jealous… just imagining it makes her seem adorable and lovable. I want to rush over and hug her tightly.
I doubt Marie’s affection for me would cool, but why else would there be a term like “the seven-year itch”? Cecilly will faithfully play the role of preventing such a slump. And vice versa.
Come to think of it, thinking this way makes me seem like a real playboy. But I need to get used to it; if I’m ambiguous, I might face a situation where I lose both.
“It seems like a good method… we’ll see about that. Her affection won’t cool anytime soon.”
“Just so you know, I can swear that my feelings for Issac will never change. Life would be boring without Issac.”
“If you feel that way already, what will you do later?”
“I’ll comfort myself by looking at Issac’s children. Or perhaps by looking at the children born between Issac and me?”
“Noona Cecilly, you have it all planned out, don’t you?”
“Hehe.”
Cecilly laughed shyly at my admiring praise. Then, cupping my cheeks with both hands, she asked with evident desire:
“Maybe next dark cycle, without contraception…”
“No.”
“Tch.”
What’s not allowed is not allowed.
Cecilly pouted when I firmly refused, then asked another question.
“Then what about illustrations? Are those not allowed either? We originally planned to include them.”
“Given the current situation, it’s problematic. It could harm you unnecessarily. What if there’s a demon who looks like you?”
As everyone knows, Lust, Lilith in Biography of Xenon, is a character modeled after Cecilly.
So I had planned to include illustrations to improve my drawing skills, but given the current situation, I had to temporarily suspend that plan.
As long as Biography of Xenon is treated partly as a book of prophecy, including illustrations could lead to unpredictable consequences. People might persecute someone as a potential future Seven Deadly Sin.
You might think this is an exaggerated concern, but given the times we live in, it’s entirely possible. Just look at why the term “witch hunt” exists.
“…I understand. So you won’t include any illustrations at all?”
“Probably? But by the conclusion, all misunderstandings should be cleared up. I think we can include them around that time. Not just Lilith, but the other Seven Deadly Sins too.”
“When will it conclude? Looking at the story, it seems like we’re just entering the main introduction.”
“There’s a lot left. At least half a year?”
“Only half a year?”
“Ah.”
This woman is a demon. For demons, even a year feels short, so half a year would pass in the blink of an eye.
“For now, yes. If there are no major accidents, it should take about half a year. Since I’ve been appointed as a recommended student, I have plenty of time.”
“Accidents… what kind of accidents?”
“Well, something like…”
I rolled my eyes thoughtfully, then mentioned accidents that could delay the serialization.
“Like if my hand gets seriously injured? Even if the rest of me is fine, if my hand is injured, the serialization would inevitably be delayed.”
“Hand…”
Cecilly trailed off, then nodded as if she had made a decision.
Then, looking at me with red eyes full of determination, she spoke in a solemn voice:
“If anyone injures Issac’s hand… they’ll pay with their life.”
“Come on, that’s too…”
Before I could finish, Cecilly shook her head. She overlapped my right hand with both of hers and said to me with a serious expression:
“This hand saved our demon race, so it’s only right. Not just me, but others would think similarly.”
“…”
“Above all, if the man I love gets hurt, I think I’d be in more pain. Although I can’t always be by your side to protect you, I’ll thoroughly avenge you.”
When these words come from Cecilly, who is destined to be the next ruler of Helium, they carry weight. She said she could blow away mountains with a few gestures, so revenge would be easy for her.
But what I appreciate most is her mindset. Who wouldn’t fall for someone who says such things?
I stared at Cecilly’s red eyes, filled with determination, then smiled gently. Seeing my smile, Cecilly smiled back.
“Thank you, Noona. It’s reassuring to hear you say that.”
“Don’t mention it. If you’re really grateful, take off your pants.”
“Suddenly again?”
“I want to be tormented. I’ve set up a barrier, so don’t worry.”
“Sigh. Alright, alright.”
The fire in Cecilly’s heart seemed to burn brightly not just at night but during the day as well.
*****
In a dark space where not even a speck of light entered.
In that space, two men faced each other across a round table.
Darkness was spread all around, making it impossible to see their faces clearly, but they conversed as if familiar with each other.
“Here’s today’s letter. Judging by the fact that the boss sent it from home, it seems quite important.”
“Hmm.”
As the man placed a simple letter on the table, the man opposite stared at it intently.
Though it was too dark to see anything, his golden eyes shone brilliantly. Like a predator’s eyes gleaming in the dark night, his eyes emitted an intense light.
Just as the golden-eyed man was about to take the delivered letter.
“Ahem. Ahem.”
The messenger suddenly cleared his throat. The golden-eyed man paused in reaching for the letter and flinched.
Then he slowly raised his head to face the messenger. The messenger briefly exchanged glances with the golden-eyed man, then placed his hand on the table.
*Tap tap* *Tap*
“By the way, how’s life these days? I heard your daughter joined a high-tier knight order.”
The messenger asked about recent events while tapping the table with his finger, perhaps out of habit.
Noting this, the golden-eyed man replied as if it were nothing special:
“No news yet. And you? How’s your son?”
“He’s probably struggling right now. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have much talent.”
*Tap* *Tap* *Tap* *Tap tap*
Even while answering, his fingers didn’t stop tapping the table. But they soon stopped.
The golden-eyed man shrugged and carefully tucked the letter into his breast pocket. It was time to leave.
“Anyway, I’m always grateful. It’s troublesome, yet you go through this effort.”
“It’s nothing. Consider how much I owe you. It’s not like it’s boring either.”
“As I always think, you have quite a unique personality. I’ll be going now.”
“Take care.”
The golden-eyed man stood up and strode away. Once he disappeared, the messenger also got up abruptly.
“I might not be able to do this for a while.”
Muttering this, the man scratched his head vigorously.
Meanwhile, the golden-eyed man who received the letter…
‘An elf is following me… This doesn’t seem good.’
He was heading home, interpreting the signal the messenger had sent with his fingers, not words.
‘It’s fortunate that Issac isn’t at the mansion; if he were, it would have been a big problem. I’ll have to handle this myself.’
The red-haired lion began to lure the hyenas. The problem is…
“…Issac? And Princess Cecilly? Why suddenly at the mansion…”
“I thought it wouldn’t be good to stay only in Helium. I came along to see father’s face too.”
“Hello, Baron Hawk. Oh, should I call you father-in-law now?”
“…”
That unexpected situations can occur at any time.
