Kim Sol-i fortunately seemed to like the Rift Dimension.

“I can’t believe a place like this exists… So that’s why you were looking for me? Because I’m your type, boss?”

“…Saying it that way could lead to some misunderstandings.”

“Oh come on. Looking at the women you’re involved with, wouldn’t it be nice to have someone like me in the mix too?”

    “…”

She seemed to like the place, but her slightly high-energy personality was a bit tiring for a bedroom gamer like me.

That said, she wasn’t off-putting enough to make me frown, more like a cheerful social butterfly type, so it was hard to complain.

Seeing how well she got along with everyone right from the start, I couldn’t deny that she was genuinely a good person.

“Unni, I noticed this before too, but you have such great style.”

“Really? I hear that a lot. Well, I am a designer after all, so I should look stylish on the outside too.”

“Could you take me shopping sometime and help style me too?”

    “Of course! I love shopping.”

Kim Su-jung was naturally friendly and called everyone “unni” anyway, so the two of them becoming friends was inevitable, but Sol-i quickly became close with Ji-hyun as well.

“Wow… mud potion! Does drinking this really improve your skin? That’s amazing. I didn’t know such abilities existed… So you keep making potions here? This is totally my style. I love this kind of thing.”

“When you’re having a tough night, looking at the night view from the second floor with a cup of coffee really relieves stress.”

“That’s exactly what I came here for! I’ll create an amazing landscape for you.”

“I’ll set aside some mud potion for you too.”

    “Hey, hey.”

It’s good for the staff to get along well.

I decided to organize another dinner to celebrate Kim Sol-i’s arrival.

“Unpack and rest. We’ll have a team dinner tonight.”

“Oppa, but what about the rooms?”

“Ah, right. We need to do some construction.”

Last time, I gained 10P for the base after completing a quest.

I used that to expand the cabin a bit.

This time, I didn’t touch the storage area but expanded the opposite side of the cabin by 10P.

The first floor became wider and longer, and the second floor grew enough to add 2-3 more rooms.

Since there’s no rule saying we have to live only on the second floor, I created one more large master bedroom in the newly expanded space on the first floor.

    “I’m moving here.”

And addressing our cabin’s biggest problem, I added two more bathrooms.

Originally, we all shared one bathroom next to the kitchen, but now I built a large one on the second floor and added a small one to my master bedroom, completing the construction.

Creating bathrooms wasn’t difficult, but plumbing required higher tech levels. I managed to compromise by using miscellaneous items from dungeon boxes to just open up the necessary lines.

“Wow. Nice. It’s nice, but this is temporary, right?”

Inevitably, Kim Sol-i’s perspective differed from Kim Su-jung’s or Lee Ji-hyun’s.

Plus, Sol-i came here specifically for this kind of work.

There’s no way she’d be satisfied with my hastily decorated creation.

“I’ll give you permission, so feel free to change things if you want.”

I had already communicated my specific requirements to Kim Sol-i.

She would design and decorate everything for the farm in the Rift Dimension.

Of course, if there were elements I absolutely couldn’t accept or styles I strongly preferred, she would prioritize those considerations.

Honestly, I didn’t have any specific designs I felt strongly about yet, so I was content to watch expectantly, like opening a gift box.

“Ah! I’m guessing you can’t get many materials and resources yet?”

“We’ve only unlocked Level 1 biomes so far, so it’ll take some time to get decorative resources or premium materials.”

“So even a 10-year veteran finds this place challenging?”

“I’ll explain that to you a little later.”

I hadn’t yet fully explained this dimension to Kim Sol-i.

It was too complex to explain briefly.

Still, I didn’t think it would be difficult to explain.

If she understood the concept of Farming World, this dimension would be easy to comprehend.

After expanding the house, I made a back door and built an (illegal?) barbecue area.

It wasn’t as enclosed as the cabin, but it could block the airflow to some extent.

A place where we could light a fire with a dirt floor to create that barbecue feeling.

Some might wonder why not use the front yard, but it’s still summer here.

“Oh, so we can even use air conditioning like this.”

Electricity isn’t limited to just inside the base.

I simply installed solar panels easily in building mode inside the base, but it’s possible to draw that electricity for use outside.

A perfect spot for enjoying barbecue with the air conditioner running in our temporary barbecue area.

One might wonder why not just grill inside, but this way we can enjoy both the romance of outdoor grilling while avoiding the heat.

After unpacking and before evening came, we gathered cozily and started our beef party.

Thanks to the numerous foods and supplies I brought from my spatial storage, we could enjoy a barbecue party in the Rift Dimension reminiscent of Earth.

The conversation during the dinner wasn’t anything special.

Let’s get along well going forward.

I explained information about this place, how it’s structured, difficulty levels, and Sol-i asked questions.

The women, knowing they’d be spending a lot of time together, shared various stories over drinks.

And most importantly, how to leave this place.

“Huh? I came thinking I was boarding a deep-sea fishing vessel. I already told my parents I wouldn’t be able to visit for 1-2 years, so I don’t need to leave. I’ll just go out occasionally.”

It seemed like a perfect talent for the farm had arrived, which put my mind at ease.

And finally, the new rules for the farm.

“Here’s a new rule I’m adding for the farm. Since we’ll communicate better and share opinions more comfortably if we’re at ease with each other, let’s drop formalities and speak casually. Our farm’s management philosophy is to be like family.”

    I’m 26, Kim Su-jung is 23, Ji-hyun is 25, and Sol-i is also 26.

“Great. Nice to meet you, friend!”

And with that, the dinner concluded well.

“Su-jung is the farm manager, Ji-hyun is the alchemist. What am I?”

At Kim Su-jung’s question, I quickly improvised a position.

“Let’s go with Rift Dimension Designer.”

“Oh! I like that! Sounds cool.”

We had a good time bonding, and the next day I had to make a decision.

“I guess going in order is the right approach.”

Actually, there’s no need to visit biomes strictly in level order.

    Level 0, Level 1, Level 2.

The levels are divided simply to give users the enjoyment of gradual growth, like climbing stairs, but there’s no law saying you must climb them in order.

Moreover, the biomes themselves are divided by level, but they aren’t necessarily arranged sequentially.

Right now, south of my Level 0 biome is a Level 1 biome, but to the east, there’s a Level 2 biome right next to it.

To the north, there could be Level 4-5 biomes, or even, in extreme cases, a Level 9 biome.

Of course, such extreme cases were rare in Farming World.

So I could skip ahead to Level 4-5 biomes if my skills allowed, but somehow going in order didn’t seem like a bad idea.

I was also working on achievement quests.

Following the explorer path sequentially would probably create a better balance for items I’d sell on Earth.

Even now, I’m accumulating wealth with A to S- grade items from Level 0-1 biomes. If S to SS grade items from Level 4-5 biomes suddenly appeared, they might not receive proper valuation due to the gap.

Well, it’s not really my concern, and there’s no guarantee that S to SS items would drop there anyway.

So I simply decided to start with the Level 2 biome I knew about.

    The Black Monkeys’ Forest.

The Level 2 biome covering that area.

I had a good pretext too.

“Master, the Black Monkeys have been looking for you because monsters keep targeting their forest.”

I am currently the nominal chief of the Black Monkeys.

Naturally, if someone threatens the tribe’s territory, the chief must lead the charge to crush them.

“What kind of creatures are they?”

The Black Monkeys’ Forest. Unlike the southern swamp, what monsters might live in this dense tropical forest biome?

    “They say they’re Guava Snakes.”

    “Guava Snakes?”

It’s not easy for something to be higher on the food chain than Black Monkeys.

In the wild, unless you have special magical powers, it’s difficult to defeat naturally powerful beings like the Cercopithecidae family with their boosted stats.

Plus, they have intelligence and live in groups.

But Guava Snakes present a different problem.

    [Sub Quest]

    [Territory – Level 2 Biome]

[The Black Monkeys are suffering from attacks by Guava Snakes invading their territory. Stop the tyranny of these Guava Snakes that swallow and dissolve entire Black Monkeys, and eliminate the cause to restore peace to the Black Monkeys’ territory.]

[Furthermore, establish the Black Monkeys as the dominant species of the Level 2 biome]

[Reward: Farming Ability Points 15, 10,000 Farm, (Legendary) Cercopithecidae Sapling x1]

[Additional Reward: Farming Ability Points 10, SS-grade Ability Selection Ticket x1]

This is what’s great about expanding territory.

Sweet sub-quests from the species in the expanded territory.
