Poongpoong’s Ability.

What I like about Mana Detection is that it’s a skill that perfectly synergizes with my [Leap Slash].

Normally, when you learn various skills, some work well together while others don’t, making skill combinations quite challenging.

When I played Farming World, I spent a lot of time researching and contemplating how to combine and link the various skills I had learned.

But now, even though I didn’t specifically learn these skills to combine them, they naturally complement each other, creating an excellent skill combo.

If stealth is detected within 100M, I can fly there through a leap.

Coincidentally, the range of Leap Slash is also 100M, so as long as detection occurs, I can teleport instantly to any location. This means that the moment someone uses stealth within 100M, they’re actually more easily discovered than someone who simply walks up within that range.

That S-class assassin—the one who died without me even knowing his name—was caught that way, and to give an honest review of the experience, it was extremely satisfying.

If I detected mana but had to circle around to approach because direct access was difficult, a hidden assassin could relocate or hide after observing my movements. How convenient it is not to worry about that—you’d have to experience it to understand.

So I set a trap to catch an SS-class assassin with this combo.

After the auction ended, I went to the omakase restaurant to see the VIP members’ reactions.

    The reactions were excellent.

    “Wow. This is delicious.”

“Correction. It’s incredibly delicious. It’s such a shame to be alone tonight…”

“Should I send you a guy, sis?”

    “Would you really?”

Not just Kelin but her entire party.

Even the SAINT guild members, who had rented out an entire time slot, were full of praise.

They said the 6 million won per person was absolutely worth it and asked to be notified if we held another omakase like this in the future, licking their plates clean before leaving.

The 8 o’clock time slot was the same.

Not only Seo Hyoju but also VIP members I’d never met before gave thumbs up, most asking where they could purchase the blood eel.

“Unfortunately, blood eels are monsters that are only occasionally caught in very small quantities by our Farming Company. We occasionally invite VIP members to taste them when supplies become available, so don’t forget to keep your Farmings notifications on. We offer even more special benefits to VIP and VVIP members.”

Kim Sujeong showed her passion for promoting Farmings even in the midst of all this.

Beyond just the taste, the blood eel omakase actually had the effect of enhancing virility, so everyone who finished their meal looked energetic when leaving.

Since virility isn’t just about nighttime vigor but also relates to one’s vital energy, foods good for virility are often good for overall vitality as well.

That’s the power of an SS-class chef’s ability—creating food with real effects that can’t be replicated by medicines or supplements.

After finishing the omakase and logging out, I had completed everything I needed to do.

This time, apart from the omakase and the fan auction, I only needed to purchase an item that would increase my magic power by +1 grade, so I thought I’d be in and out quickly, but between the dungeon reflux and everything else, I ended up staying quite a while.

“There seem to be a few items that just increase magic power by +1 grade. Should I look for one with good additional options?”

    “That would be nice.”

Since I’d be wearing it for a long time, I wanted something decent, even if it wasn’t as good as a sacred ring.

I wasn’t going to buy just anything.

If I couldn’t find something suitable, I was considering opening some of the random accessory boxes I’d been saving.

Since those were random, the chances of getting the specific option of +1 grade magic power were quite low.

While waiting a few days and looking around, I also set a trap.

“Are you sure this is okay?”

“Only you should know about this, Team Leader. I’ve already killed an S-class assassin.”

    “…What?”

“I need to kill an SS-class one too, but if security is too tight, they’ll get scared and won’t show up. Please reduce it by about half. I’ll go into an A-class dungeon alone tomorrow and finish this.”

    “Understood…”

Since they weren’t being detected by my Mana Detection, they were either observing from beyond 100M or not using stealth at all.

It would be difficult for me to spot an assassin operating throughout South Korea with just my keen eyes, so I needed to lure them into my territory.

Ultimately, the best place for an assassin to kill me would be inside a dungeon, so they would follow.

It’s convenient for disposing of bodies and there’s no interference.

They could easily ambush me while I pretended to fight monsters.

As I entered the dungeon, sure enough, I sensed an assassin following me, caught by my Mana Detection.

With my Mana Detection now at SS- grade, I could immediately detect and locate the stealth used by an SS-class assassin.

    Papapat!

My Light Demon Sword was already drawn.

    I was also fighting monsters.

I leaped, cut off both arms of the SS-class assassin, and successfully grabbed their neck to prevent escape.

“Well, everyone. Got you, didn’t I?”

    “…Kuk.”

I could see the confusion in their eyes.

    They were shaken.

No matter how skilled an assassin they were, they weren’t some fictional assassin trained since childhood—they’d probably only been an assassin for a few years, so this situation wouldn’t be easy to accept.

“Your name is Esmeir. SS- class assassin. You entered the country after receiving a large sum from Kang Sungjun to assassinate me. Correct?”

    “…!”

“How did I know? You must be curious, but I won’t tell you. Because you’ve fallen into a trap.”

    “…”

    Esmeir’s eyes wavered.

The fact that I knew their name must have made them realize something was wrong.

An assassin would likely use a fake name, and especially at SS-class level, they’d probably be known by a code name rather than their actual name, even within their organization.

    Yet I knew it perfectly.

Despite their struggles, an assassin with both arms cut off and their neck in my grip couldn’t do much.

    Woong-

I even stopped the bleeding from their severed arms with healing.

They were slightly dizzy from blood loss, but that wasn’t my concern.

“Do you know why I captured you instead of just killing you?”

I could have just killed them like the S-class assassin.

But I didn’t because I was curious about something.

“I’m recording all of this. You’re going to die anyway, but if you tell me what I want to know, I’ll kill you quickly.”

I asked what I was curious about.

“Why did you accept a contract to assassinate me? Don’t you have brains? I almost single-handedly stopped an S-class dungeon reflux, and while I did draw aggro as an SSS+ class, even the United States would rate me at least S-class. Knowing that the US is watching, wouldn’t you normally decline?”

    “…”

    Esmeir kept their mouth shut.

    Tougher than I expected.

Without hesitation, I cut off their left thigh with my Light Demon Sword.

    “Kughk.”

The leg fell off like slicing through a radish.

Watching them bite their lip in pain, I asked again.

“This seems like your last chance.”

Esmeir looked at me with resentful eyes but still didn’t answer.

    “Ha…”

As they struggled to mumble something, I realized the fundamental problem with this conversation.

    “Ah… we can’t communicate.”

    This person was a foreigner.

I had been naturally asking questions in Korean and waiting for answers.

When I recited Esmeir’s information and they looked surprised, I assumed they understood me.

But they were probably just surprised to hear their name.

    “Damn it.”

Realizing that everything I’d done was pointless and I wouldn’t get the answers I wanted, I simply cut their throat.

    My second murder.

More brutal than the first, but I hesitated less.

The fact that they had tried to kill me meant I felt little remorse.

Brushing the blood off my clothes, I searched their body.

I also searched the body of the first assassin I had stored in my belt, collecting their items.

After gathering everything that looked like an item, I put the bodies back in my belt and finished clearing the dungeon.

I could have thrown the bodies to the remaining monsters as food, but since Dark Site was apparently a large terrorist organization, it was better not to leave any traces.

The organization’s employees who were covering for me might come into the dungeon later and discover even small parts of the bodies.

    “…Not bad?”

The reward for my first murder, you could say.

The pile of items was surprisingly large, and these bastards must have killed many people because all the items they were wearing were A-class or higher.

Unfortunately, I didn’t see the magic power item I wanted.

Among them, I found identical badges on both assassins.
