While I was busy browsing through the gallery, I could see discussions continuing in one corner of the command center about the Kraken’s disgraceful performance in its first real battle.

To be precise, it wasn’t so much a proper discussion as…

“No, no! Our proud flagship would never look so messy in battle!”

“The princess is right. How could it possibly withstand over 3,000 bio-bombers?”

    “Well, that’s true, but…”

“It was definitely strange that an anti-air specialized ship would be in such a position…”

“Still, for something with such a massive body to whine after being hit by just a few small mines is a bit…”

“Would you not feel pain if your enormous chest fat was hit by a rock?”

    “Ah, I see.”

Princess Luca and Oxianor, representing the monster faction, were pouring out passionate defenses and excuses in response to our personnel’s suspicions about the Kraken’s performance, which hadn’t even properly leveled up.

Regardless, I continued browsing through the gallery looking for solutions. After blocking about three more trolls, I noticed that some genuine aircraft carrier enthusiasts had posted new content.

Title: About those posts claiming carrier aircraft got nerfed – don’t believe everything you read

    Author: Cerberus

Content: [Photo of aircraft carrier under construction]

There are some carefully crafted posts claiming carrier aircraft performance is terrible and they’ve been nerfed.

The issue is that even if you rushed base construction, it’s not easy to complete building “aircraft carriers” – which are large ships – and properly level them up.

And if you look at the people writing those posts, they all show signs of having played the game before and then quit.

    You know what?

About 6 months before we were transported into this game, they made major changes to carrier aircraft.

Because some annoying veterans were bringing carriers into low-level battles to farm newbies,

The performance of carrier aircraft was severely cut at low levels.

To make them useful, you need to reach at least level 30-40 as a Superhuman,

But as I mentioned above, users’ base upgrade speed can’t keep up with that.

Players who just reached level 5 or 6 might not know this, but to build an aircraft carrier, you need a level 7 base plus construction of an “Aviation Command Center”

Unless you got one through gacha, everyone else is either still building their carriers

Or just got them and they’re still at a very low level,

So the carrier aircraft at that stage are much weaker than what you used in the past, just FYI.

    Here’s some kimbap @))))))))))))))))))

-[Can someone give me a 3-line summary?]

-˪[If you can’t read it all, just don’t read it at all, damn]

-[So carrier aircraft are useless until you grind levels like crazy?]

-˪[Yeah, either that or just forget about carriers and stick with big guns on big ships]

Title: Carriers received as mercenaries from factions actually perform at the level we expect

    Author: ForestBuilder

Content: [Concept art of Xenovia Empire’s “Anomalocaris” class combat aircraft carrier], [Battle scene screenshot of Anomalocaris class carrier]

At first I wondered why people were saying carrier aircraft were trash, but then I realized:

The ones NPCs use have been there from the start, so they’re already leveled up, right?

That’s why their carrier aircraft perform at the level I expected

But if users are building carriers at this stage, they’re probably just light carriers that can only launch 100-500 aircraft at once

So you’d literally have to “grind through” aircraft, consuming enormous resources

And according to that guy, you’d need to do this until reaching level 30-40

Honestly, I don’t recommend using carriers

    Comments:

-[Wow, how did you get that, brother?]

-˪[I didn’t get it, I stole it. That’s why I’m being chased by the Xenovia Empire right now](Author)

    ‘Hmm, very interesting information.’

While it was shocking to learn that one former ranker had stolen a Xenovia Empire carrier and was on the run, I realized that with sufficient leveling of carrier aircraft and the carrier itself, I could eventually achieve that satisfying carrier gameplay of mindlessly spamming aircraft to torment enemies like I experienced in the past.

I understood that my next task would be to focus on leveling up and upgrading the Kraken.

    ==========

Now that I knew how to “operate” the Kraken properly, and having learned that other users were beginning to deploy not just carriers but cruisers and “battleships” as well…

    Fleet Status

    Total Points: 364/470 points

Aircraft Carrier: 1 ship, 70 points each = 70 points

Heavy Cruisers: 10 ships, 10 points each = 100 points

Light Cruisers: 10 ships, 6 points each = 60 points

    Destroyers: 25 ships, 3 points each = 75 points

Escort Ships: 5 ships, 1.5 points each = 7.5 points

Patrol Ships: 20 ships, 1 point each = 20 points

Resource Mining Ships: 25 ships, 1.5 points each = 37.5 points

Since I had space available after dismantling the fleet that was sacrificed to bring in the Kraken-class…

    <Additional Docking Facility Under Construction…>

    <Time Remaining Until Completion: 7 days 16 hours 45 minutes 33 seconds>

    —————————————-

I immediately started construction of additional docking facilities.

Then I decided it was finally time to normalize the Overseer, which I had successfully stolen from some user whose name I can’t even remember anymore. It had served as our flagship and, except for Pashtra, our only firepower ship. I had plastered it with all kinds of equipment and even subjected it to Griyanar’s bio-modifications, resulting in a ship with overwhelming firepower but completely unbalanced in every other aspect.

“This moment has finally come, Commander.”

“It feels like just yesterday when we were holding out with just me and the Overseer…♡”

“Well, at least now that ship can have some of its burden relieved, right?”

When I gave the order, Berial and Pashtra, and even Ignis who hadn’t shown much interest in ships, all displayed somewhat bittersweet expressions.

Unlike other ships, the Overseer was a monumental vessel that had essentially lived and fought alongside us to maintain my fleet, so feeling a bit sentimental was unavoidable.

“My, I’ve grown quite attached to it.”

Our mad scientist, Professor Griyanar, also seemed somewhat disappointed at the prospect of returning the Overseer to its original state after her extensive modifications that had covered it with eyes and tentacles while dramatically enhancing its firepower.

    But that didn’t last long.

“By the way, Griyanar, you’ll need to modify the Kraken too.”

“Hmm? Oh my, oh my, really?”

Upon hearing that she would get to modify the larger and more magnificent Kraken, Griyanar displayed not her typical twisted smile, but a bright smile befitting her relatively small frame, showing genuine joy.

    Meanwhile, our muscle nun Partia…

“Everything is according to the great Savior’s will. The fleet and all of us exist only to follow the Savior’s guidance…”

    “I see.”

She was displaying the very definition of “obedience,” so I simply nodded and decided to continue with my gameplay.
