    Ch.141141. The Day (3)

In the past, when I was deeply involved in planning the downfall of the Rom Empire, I found myself troubled by a dilemma.

How exactly could I kill the gods?

In the original story, all the main deities of the old Pantheon were slaughtered by Bjorn without exception.

He had forcibly crammed countless evil gods’ blessings into his mortal body and gained tremendous power by being Chosen as an apostle of all seven Great Evil Gods.

Not only did he become powerful enough to rival the gods with this strength, but he also physically overwhelmed every single deity while possessing a body inhabited by the seven Great Evil Gods.

He tore through space with brute force to enter the divine realm, methodically murdered the gods one by one, and still had enough power left to attempt destroying the entire empire before his strength was finally depleted.

This was indeed the most convenient and efficient method, but…

At the very least, I didn’t want to choose such an easy path.

However, such decisions always come with responsibilities.

For someone like me who couldn’t predict what butterfly effects might occur if gods who were supposed to be born in the original timeline failed to manifest—

The situation I now faced was incredibly complex and chaotic.

First, I needed to kill all the main deities of the Pantheon, which was already a series of hardships from the start.

Just killing Partios, the Evil God of Violence, had been tremendously difficult. And now I had to kill twelve supreme-level deities?

It was undoubtedly impossible to accomplish alone, so despite my extreme reluctance, I had no choice but to involve the evil gods.

Not only did I need to bring in these evil gods, but I also had to spread the divine attributes of the slain gods throughout the world.

In other words, I had to prevent the evil gods I brought in from absorbing the divine attributes of the gods.

These divine attributes from the fallen gods would give birth to new deities of the new divine era. Eventually, these gods would unite to form a Pantheon that could keep the evil gods in check.

This might seem like the common mistake of possessors or reincarnators obsessing over original events, but I had my own significant reasons for this.

The best environment for the value of “revenge” to flourish was one where opposing forces fought each other, maintaining a hostile symbiosis.

Anyway, while each of these conditions seemed like the challenge of the century, I actually came up with a method to satisfy all of them, inspired by another evil god.

Panima, the Evil God of Despair, had surrounded the city she attacked with a barrier during her declaration of war.

Drawing from this idea, I had my believers conduct an elaborate magical ritual, and when the Pantheon gods descended, I seized the opportunity to deploy a barrier.

Of course, while such a barrier might contain mortals, any god could shatter it with a single punch…

But since I was well aware of this fact, I meticulously timed the deployment of the barrier.

    Precisely 10 seconds before—

10 seconds before the birth of Sodomia Gomorio Blutas, the Evil God of Pleasure.

The scene inside the barrier was utter devastation.

    ※ ※ ※

Right after the Emperor was assassinated and the sky turned crimson.

*Anat, Goddess of Wisdom, Strategy, Knowledge, and Invention.

    《What is this…?》

With the Emperor’s soul suddenly vanishing and the sky turning red—events no one could have anticipated—

Even Anat, the Goddess of Wisdom, couldn’t help but be shocked by the situation.

But her surprise didn’t last long.

    《Ugh…!!》

    Thud!

Not long after the sky inexplicably turned blood-red, Anat felt something alien inside her body, retched, and collapsed to the ground.

    “A-Anat, my lady!!!”

    “A-Are you alright?!!”

The scholars of the Academy who had gathered around—entranced by Anat’s charisma—were startled by her shocking condition and rushed to her side.

But this may have been a fatal mistake on their part.

    《—?!! S-Stay back!!》

    “What? What do you—”

Before the scholars could react to Anat’s urgent warning, something purple emerged from her lower abdomen.

    《Cough!!》

This purple entity tore through flesh and skin as it burst out. Anat, suffering severe internal injuries from the process, coughed up blood and collapsed.

And the energy released during this emergence poured directly into the bodies of the dozens of scholars who had gathered around.

    [[[[[[Ah, aaaaa■aaa■a■■aa■■a■■■■a■■■—!!!]]]]]]

As a result, the scholars fell to the ground screaming as if their souls were being shattered, and something beneath their skin began to writhe and bulge—

    —CRACK!!!

Horrific monstrosities crawled out from beneath the scholars’ skin, tearing their bodies to pieces.

These creatures had terrifying faces that looked like flayed skin cut into pieces and reattached, bodies both sensual and disturbingly alien.

They were practically naked, barely covered by leather straps and metal rings, with bald heads pierced by evenly spaced spikes that made them look even more grotesque.

They carried whips and daggers in their hands, with distorted wings on their backs—these monstrosities were Pleasure’s Handmaidens, a type of lesser fallen angel and servants of Pleasure.

The energy released from Anat spread in all directions, turning countless humans into sacrifices for these Handmaidens of Pleasure.

    《Ugh, uuugh…!!!》

Anat, from whom the purple entity—the divine attribute of Pleasure—had been forcibly torn, suffered severe damage to her divine nature and divinity.

Of course, even in this state, the power Anat could wield was still immeasurably strong by mortal standards…

But the fact that she had been reduced to a manageable level was, for her, both humiliating and shameful.

Meanwhile, the divine attribute of Pleasure forcibly torn from her wasn’t taken from Anat alone.

It was also torn from Makius the War God, Vulcanus the Smith God, Juno-Shala the Goddess of Home, Vestia the Goddess of the Hearth, Iris the Goddess of Betrayal, Phobos the God of Fear, Plutos the God of Death, Hermecus the God of Commerce, and Justia-Astraea the Goddess of Justice and Judgment.

Shared among all the gods except the Supreme God Jupiterius and the “shell” Bacchus, it was the cause of their deliberate plunging of the Rom Empire into decadence and hedonism to grow stronger.

The divine attribute of Pleasure, as if embodying their karma, damaged all the gods’ divine attributes and flew one by one toward a single point—

    《《Ha, hahahahahahaha—!!!!》》

Toward Bacchus(?), who stood in the center of the grand theater stage with arms spread wide, laughing maniacally, and began to absorb them one by one.

Meanwhile, the interior of the largest theater in the entertainment district where Bacchus(?) was located had long since become a space at the pinnacle of frenzy under his/her influence.

Musicians whose bodies had merged with instruments under the influence of the purple energy played bizarre sounds, while dancers entranced in ecstasy continued their grotesque dances even as their bodies perished.

A fragrant yet repulsive purple scent permeated the massive theater, pushing sensations to their extremes as if whispering directly into the brain.

Indiscriminate violence, frenzied orgies, and bloodshed began to vibrate throughout the densely packed seats of this massive theater.

Whether nobleman, pauper admitted by charity, or middle-class citizen who barely afforded entry—fervor and madness erupted in the seats, unconcerned with such trivial distinctions.

People crushed their bones to widen their ear canals to hear the music louder, while many entranced by the sense-stimulating fragrance cut off their noses.

Some gouged out their eyes for more sensitive perception.

Those driven mad with ecstasy joyfully tore at each other’s bodies, crushing each other’s flesh as they fell into endless euphoria and pleasure.

The audience, having reached a state where pain and pleasure became indistinguishable, tore out their own flesh, gutted their entrails, crushed their bones, and laughed hysterically.

    There were no exceptions.

Whether mid-rank, low-rank, or ordinary person.

Without such distinctions, everyone present fell into frenzied pleasure.

At some point, distorted beauties—the Handmaidens of Pleasure—began to mingle among them, and the bodies of the completely broken but still living audience members began to merge or distort.

And in the midst of this frenzy.

Having finally obtained all ten fragments of divine attributes, she(he) embraced herself with newly grown arms while giving a seductive smile—

And thus ‘Pleasure,’ the Evil God Sodomia Gomorio Blutas, was born.
