Ch.140Epilogue 1. Deserving of Betrayal
by fnovelpia
“Dragons don’t shed tears.”
“They only soar!”
Whoosh!
The red warrior, Red Dragon, leaped into the blue sky illuminated by the sun. The city of Seoul, filled with skyscrapers, decorated the backdrop of his magnificent silhouette.
Red Dragon prepared to deliver his final kick with a stylish pose in mid-air. His target was, of course, the villain. It was a decisive strike to protect the city and uphold justice.
“Hmm.”
The villain in the black suit didn’t seem particularly threatened as he casually dusted off his hands.
The Lord of Evil—Gerogius prepared his counterattack.
“Ooooh!”
Red Dragon launched a kick at Gerogius with a battle cry. Fire and light flashed.
At the moment of collision, Gerogius spun his body and responded with a spinning back kick. When the two men’s legs collided,
BOOM!!
A massive explosion sent shockwaves in all directions.
There was only one victor.
The survivor was the villain.
Once again, evil had triumphed.
Fragments of Red Dragon fell to the ground with a clatter. Gerogius cracked his neck and addressed someone on top of a building.
“That was somewhat useful this time. A clone of Red Dragon made from genes extracted from me? Your methods are evolving, aren’t they, Sulphur?”
The hero in a white suit standing on the building with his arms crossed shrugged his shoulders.
“Well, I lost again. So the Dragon King Sentai is disbanded now. I’ll retreat this time, but look forward to the next S-Sentai Tournament.”
Sulphur gave a flippant salute and smoothly disappeared into a black hole beneath his feet. The apprentice hero standing beside him disappeared as well.
Gerogius pulled a card from his belt. His transformation was canceled, and he returned to his human form as Jung Ui-seok.
Jung Ui-seok’s face remained unchanged from when he first became Gerogius. His body had grown stronger and firmer, with no trace of aging anywhere.
“So the Dragon King Sentai is finished. I’ve lost count of how many S-Sentai Tournaments we’ve had. Good work, everyone.”
Jung Ui-seok turned his body to praise his team members. The original members of the evil sentai Vengeance were standing right there.
Dark Matter Lee Lu-a, E.lena Lena, Boksil, and Ursula Han Somi.
However, except for the non-human Boksil and Han Somi, both Lu-a and Lena showed signs of aging.
Lu-a, who had been a child, was now at an age where the word “mature” suited her, and Lena, who had been a young woman, was now at an age where “seasoned” was appropriate.
“But this is unusual for everyone. It’s not like S-Sentai elimination missions are rare, but suddenly wanting to fight as an evil sentai like in the old days? You’ve all been retired from active duty for a long time, haven’t you?”
Jung Ui-seok spoke familiarly to his three wives and one pet.
But somehow the atmosphere was cold. There was no response, and a strange tension flowed among the women.
“What’s wrong with everyone? If we’re done, let’s go get dinner… huh?”
The next moment, Jung Ui-seok was startled by a sudden flash in his eyes and covered them. It was Boksil’s flash grenade.
“‘Kneel down!'”
“Gravitino, Chen!”
“Hey, Jung Ui-seok!!”
Simultaneously, Jung Ui-seok’s body was restrained and pressed down. The pressure was tremendous.
“The last one isn’t even a technique name!”
“Somi, get his belt!”
“Here it is!”
“‘Look down!'”
Han Somi had somehow snatched Jung Ui-seok’s Armaggedon belt and tossed it to Lu-a. Lu-a immediately put the belt into a quantum realm hole.
“What’s going on! Why are you doing this!”
Unable to lift his head due to Lena’s command, Jung Ui-seok had his face pressed to the ground. Lena’s high heel dug into the top of his head.
‘I definitely had a similar experience before.’
Jung Ui-seok felt déjà vu.
His three wives betraying him? Not just anyone, but Lu-a, Lena, and Somi? At this point, 18 years into their marriage, with his and Lena’s anniversary coming up next week?
“Ui-seok, you know your sins well.”
Lena grabbed Jung Ui-seok’s hair and lifted his head. Jung Ui-seok witnessed his three wives looking down at him with terrifying eyes.
“What is it? I didn’t hog the money, didn’t hide drugs, didn’t monopolize the media, and didn’t keep all the transformation items to myself. What did I do wrong?”
“How long have you been cheating with Sulphur?”
Jung Ui-seok broke into a cold sweat at Lu-a’s cold voice.
‘I’ve done something wrong?’
Jung Ui-seok desperately racked his brain. One wrong answer and his head might fly off.
“It’s not cheating, it’s, well, a contract…”
“That Red Dragon we just fought wasn’t a clone but a projection you controlled, right? Do you think we’re blind?”
“No… that’s, it’s a false accusation. There’s no evidence. I’m innocent.”
Lena’s expression grew fiercer at Jung Ui-seok’s pathetic excuse.
“Are you saying our lovely daughter lied?”
“Ra-hee said that?! Then you shouldn’t believe it even more! She was just standing next to Sulphur as an apprentice hero. He might have ordered her to cause this internal conflict.”
“Huh? Was it really a lie?”
Lu-a, persuaded by Jung Ui-seok, tilted her head. An angry Lena tapped the floor with her high heel.
“Hey Lu-a, how can you say that about our Ra-hee? If anyone’s lying, it would be Ui-seok.”
“Well, Ra-hee is aspiring to be a hero. Our Soli and Stella are villains, so they don’t lie.”
“Are you picking a fight now?”
“Hmph.”
Lu-a looked at the frowning Lena with a devilish smile.
Lena looked down at Jung Ui-seok again with contemptuous eyes.
“So, Ui-seok, what happened?”
“I never…”
“‘Be severed.'”
As Lena uttered her command, Jung Ui-seok’s left arm was cleanly severed. It was the exact same spot that had been cut off by the Dragon King Sentai in the past.
“Come on… this is a bit much.”
“You’ll heal right away anyway.”
“It still hurts. Do you have to be so dramatic? Still with the bad taste.”
“Don’t change the subject.”
Jung Ui-seok sighed deeply. Finally, he resigned himself and answered.
“Fine. I did have a relationship with Sulphur. Wait, not like that. Listen. I needed a contract. Remember? Personnel to manage the heroes…”
“Boksil, if you would.”
“Aye aye!”
Boksil jumped high, summoned her powered suit, and put it on. She fired terrifying 60mm rounds at Jung Ui-seok at a rate of 180 rounds per second.
BOOM!!
As he was buried deep underground, Jung Ui-seok took time to reflect, thinking that he had indeed done something wrong this time.
‘Tsk, Jung Ra-hee, I’ll deal with you later.’
Jung Ui-seok recalled the face of the apprentice hero who had told his wives about Sulphur.
A fifteen-year-old girl with a face identical to Lena’s.
His and Lena’s only daughter, the youngest of their three children.
Jung Ra-hee was born three years after he married his wives and defeated Lord Jade, on a day when the first snow fell and traffic was congested.

“Lord, you’ve arrived.”
When I hurriedly arrived at the hospital in my mech, the Prism God who was in charge of Lena’s security saluted me. I continued walking without time to acknowledge him.
“How’s the situation?”
“It would be faster for you to see for yourself, sir.”
I was disinfected and put on sterile clothing. Feeling nervous, I took a deep breath.
When I arrived in front of the delivery room, I could already hear screams of agony. It was Lena’s voice.
Today was the day our third child would be born. Even though I had clearly witnessed Lu-a giving birth to twins three years ago, I still couldn’t get used to becoming a father.
I had never been afraid when facing any formidable enemy.
But Lena in labor?
I’m terrified to death.
“Let’s go in.”
I opened the door with a clatter and entered the delivery room. A battlefield came into view.
“AAAHHH!!”
“Breathe, breathe again!”
“Push with all your strength!”
Lena’s face, lying on the delivery bed with her legs spread, seemed to embody all the pain in the world.
The handles she was gripping tightly with both hands looked like they might break at any moment.
When I suggested using abilities to make the birth easier, Lena insisted on a natural delivery, worried about unknown effects on the baby.
This disaster was the result.
Still, I had to respect my wife’s opinion.
I approached Lena, showing my face to try to calm her down even a little.
“Lena, I’m here. Just hang in there a little—URGH!”
“Where have you been, you bastard! Hang in there? You enjoyed putting it in me, didn’t you? Why am I the only one paying the price?!”
Immediately, Lena grabbed my hair and started spewing curses as if she had risen from hell.
“Lena, Lena! Get a hold of yourself! Don’t you recognize Geo?!”
Lu-a, who was helping with the delivery, tried to calm Lena down, but it wasn’t much help. She was already in a state of panic.
Ironically, the skinny Lu-a had given birth to twins with almost no pain in an instant, so individual differences must be significant. Lesson learned.
“AAAH! Just kill me! Kill me!”
Lena had completely lost it. She pulled my face to her chest and scratched, pinched, stretched, and twisted it with all her might. Help me.
After three hours of this…
“Waaah, waaah!”
A healthy cry was heard. Lu-a held the robust baby in her arms and showed it to Lena and me, who were tangled up on the bed, with a bright smile.
“It’s a girl! Geo, Lena, congratulations!”
“…Haha.”
“…She’s so beautiful. Give her to me.”
Lena pushed me away and immediately took our newborn daughter in her arms. She looked at the child lovingly with eyes surrounded by dark circles.
We had already decided on a name.
I wanted to use strong words like “demon” or “king” hoping she would become an excellent villain, while Lena wanted to include the meaning of “princess” if it was a girl.
And so, our third child was named Jung Ra-hee.
