# Demon Realm (5)
Legion Commanders Eleven and Twelve, who accompanied Force to deal with Abaddon’s remnants, essentially had nothing to do.
They accompanied Force only to block the escape routes of fleeing survivors and to handle any unexpected situations.
There was no reason for them to help Force eliminate Abaddon’s remnants.
BOOM!
Under the watchful eyes of Eleven and Twelve, Legion Commander Force was sweeping away Abaddon’s remnants.
A man covered in traces of stitched flesh like a zombie or chimera.
A monster who pursued only rationality to reach the extreme of a single ability.
Hence his species name: Patchworkman.
He was crushing everything in his path like an emotionless puppet.
BOOM!
With one swing of his hammer, whatever became his target was completely shattered.
This applied equally to buildings, weapons, and people.
Following Demon Lord Belphegor’s order to destroy Abaddon, he was breaking everything that existed in Abaddon.
Buildings, plants, people regardless of age or gender—he crushed and trampled everything that existed in this land.
“He’s no different from a mindless monster.”
“He’s been such a monster from the beginning. You know that he has no heart.”
Watching this scene, Eleven gritted his teeth while Twelve tried to calm him down.
It couldn’t be helped.
As a Legion Commander with a particularly strong warrior spirit, Eleven always hesitated when swinging his sword despite following military orders.
That hesitation was the stimulus that reminded him why he needed to swing his sword and why the sword he wielded could be heavy.
Because he swung it with conviction, not recklessly.
That’s why Legion Commander Eleven had reached the pinnacle as a pure swordsman.
‘Even if it’s an order…’
And Twelve also disliked Force’s unrestrained behavior.
Not enough to be outraged like Eleven, but enough to make him frown.
BOOM!
Regardless of age or gender.
Force swung his hammer without hesitation even at fleeing children. Even as blood and flesh scattered, his expression remained perfectly calm without the slightest change.
“This is truly despicable.”
Twelve could receive various information from the sand he had deployed to block the Abaddon area.
Even now, many people were trying to break through the sandstorm to escape Abaddon.
He was holding everyone back without distinction, just as Force was doing.
“How am I any different?”
Twelve sighed.
The screams of people echoing through the sandstorm were gradually fading.
Twelve listened to those quieting sounds as he subdued the sandstorm.

When Extra returned to Abaddon, he knew he was already too late. The shattered village landscape, the silence devoid of screams.
The traces of Force who had passed through like a typhoon.
He knew. It was already over.
Yet he stubbornly moved forward because Abaddon was Extra’s hometown.
He walked through the ruins.
With memories and hatred etched in his heart, he surveyed the changed landscape of his hometown.
“No…”
Collapsed buildings.
Places he remembered.
The orphanage built to protect powerless children.
“This can’t be…”
No matter how much he tried to deny it, the sticky blood flowing between the debris told him the truth.
All the children in this orphanage were dead.
Extra screamed as he dug through the rubble with his hands.
All his memories and family were buried under this pile of debris.
Though he knew there was no chance of survival, he couldn’t stop.
‘Then what did I come all this way for…’
He had joined the Demon Lord’s army to protect everyone in Abaddon.
He had become an agent of the Eye of Truth to protect everyone in Abaddon.
He had overcome dangers and shed blood solely to protect his family, but everything he wanted to protect had sunk into the ruins.
THUD!
As Extra was digging through the debris, he suddenly stopped at the sound of heavy footsteps and the enormous shadow cast over him.
Legion Commander Force. He had been mechanically searching for any remaining survivors when he discovered Extra.
“Hah…”
For someone who had slaughtered hundreds of thousands, his expression showed not the slightest change.
And that fact made Extra even more furious.
CLANG!
Extra immediately turned around and swung his greatsword.
But what he heard wasn’t the sound of cutting flesh, but the sound of scraping against something hard.
Extra realized that his greatsword hadn’t even scratched Legion Commander Force’s neck, let alone cut it.
“Hahaha!”
CLANG!
Nevertheless, Extra swung his sword. Even though he knew his attacks wouldn’t harm his opponent, he attacked frantically.
The power of a high-ranking officer in the Demon Lord’s army and the dragon blood he gained when facing the Eye of Truth.
Despite utilizing all of these, Extra’s attacks couldn’t even cut Force’s skin.
RUMBLE!
And Force, still looking at Extra with an expressionless face, pulled his massive hammer.
The fighting style of a monster without technique or strategy. It was simply wielding overwhelming power with confidence in his solid body.
WHOOSH!
Force’s hammer, which had been dragging on the ground, rose into the air in an instant.
Extra felt as if he was facing an enormous castle.
Only a Demon Lord could match Legion Commander Force in strength.
Extra suddenly recalled a rumor he had heard while in the Demon Lord’s army.
‘Life flashing before my eyes…’
And he understood what it meant for such thoughts to come to him in this desperate moment.
The massive hammer filling his vision. The essence of violence, swung without a single technique.
“AAAAAAHHHHH!!”
BOOM!
Extra tried with all his might to block the attack, but he was helplessly engulfed in the torrent of power like a tsunami.
***
Eleven and Twelve had been aware of Extra’s approach beforehand.
And also that he was digging through the rubble.
They merely watched.
They decided to watch the end of this prodigal son who returned to his hometown only after losing everything, with sympathetic eyes.
That was the best they could do. But even that didn’t matter to Force, as the pitiful prodigal son couldn’t withstand the torrent of power and was knocked down.
“Impressive.”
Eleven exclaimed while watching Extra.
Until now, none of Abaddon’s remnants had been able to maintain their form after taking a hit from Force.
In that sense, Extra could be considered Abaddon’s finest warrior without exaggeration.
“He could certainly hold his own against a general-rank officer.”
Twelve objectively analyzed Extra’s capabilities.
He wouldn’t lose in a fight, and it would be a good match.
But even that meant nothing before the monster that was Legion Commander Force.
Extra was maintaining his form, but he was essentially as good as dead.
The hand that had been holding his sword went limp, and his strong legs that had been standing on the ground had long since buckled.
“You can see it too, right? It’s already too late to go.”
Watching the scene, Twelve muttered quietly.
A new guest had arrived. A very familiar guest at that.
“I haven’t heard that the Hero’s party entered the demon realm yet.”
Weren’t they supposed to be dead?
Twelve was honestly surprised.
It meant they had survived a direct hit from Demon Lord Belphegor.
Whether by luck or skill, he thought it was impressive that they had come here after witnessing that power.
“Who are you to stand there acting so smug? Do you want to die?”
Garnet said, throwing the leash she was holding to Esmeralda as if discarding it, seeing Twelve standing with his hands behind his back to welcome the Hero’s party.
“Legion Commander Five. So you were alive too. I see… So you and the Hero’s party were indeed in cahoots.”
Twelve nodded as if he had expected it, though he was surprised.
He had thought that the Hero’s party and Five had joined hands when he first attacked the Hero’s party.
At that time, it was irrelevant, but now it wasn’t completely wrong.
Twelve secretly felt satisfied with his own cleverness.
“So? Are you going to keep standing there? Are you confident?”
“Of course. It’s my job, and I can’t run away just because it’s disadvantageous.”
Twelve raised his staff and gathered the surrounding sand.
Eleven also stood beside Twelve, placing his hand on his sword hilt.
“We can’t handle all of you.”
“But we can certainly hold off one or two.”
At that moment, Eleven’s sword struck at Esmeralda and Lug, while Twelve’s sand filled the gap between them.
A perfect surprise attack to split their forces.
“How many will stay and how many will go to stop Force? Come on, make your choice, Legion Commander Five.”
“Wouldn’t it be faster if we all took you down first?”
“Oh…?”
But in the end, Twelve was still a demon, so he wasn’t particularly bright.
