    Ch.133133. Estate Reorganization (2)

After completing the village for the residents of the estate, I began working to transform the entire estate into the form I desired.

In other words, this was the very reason I had received this estate as compensation—to create a dream sanctuary solely for myself and my animal friends.

While the Aleinos Forest will eventually be inherited by me as well, I naturally cannot tamper with it freely or modify it to my liking.

I only recently learned that the Aleinos Forest is located at one of the highest-ranking ley line intersections among the central points where underground ley lines cross the western continent.

These ley lines are like mystical blood vessels flowing beneath the earth, allowing certain magic users, including druids, to harness the magical energy that naturally seeps from them.

Even a small-scale ley line produces magical energy comparable to a pureblood dragon’s heart, which naturally makes these ley lines of supreme tactical and strategic value.

However, ley line centers can also become vulnerabilities—if cultists somehow manage to contaminate them, the entire surrounding area becomes polluted and corrupted.

Anyway, for these reasons, my heart was truly pounding with excitement at the thought of enthusiastically remodeling this estate that I could freely modify without any problems…

This anticipation gave birth to various ideas, and thanks to that, I happily brought these ideas to life.

The first task I began was establishing an independent defense capability for the estate against external invasions.

My master and the Aleinos Forest had built a defense system that summoned dozens of intermediate spirits per minute by linking magic from the ley lines with magical formulas, but…

That was essentially a cheat key that could only be used when both the magic user and environment were at their ultimate level.

No matter how high-ranking I might be among those of the same level, it’s practically impossible for me to exceed the limitations of an intermediate level.

Nevertheless, there was still much I could do.

First, the work I began with was transforming the estate’s environment into a forest environment favorable to druids.

There was no need to convert the entire area into forest, but creating a forest along the perimeter for barriers or dimensional spaces wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Thus, a forest about 100 meters wide emerged around the estate’s border, and I used this to begin the work of turning the entire estate into a separate dimension.

Unlike ordinary environments that suffer from all sorts of environmental interference, creating a separate dimension allows me to manipulate it almost without external interference.

The first thing I implemented in this artificially created forest-dimension was, of course, spatial expansion, and the next magic I applied was… the “Forest of Disappearance” spell.

As the name suggests, this druid nature magic twists the internal space of a forest beyond a certain area, typically used to protect the forest interior by warping space into a structure that makes it absolutely impossible to reach.

Unless one is pre-authorized, no matter how much they walk, they will only circle around the forest without ever being able to pass through to the interior.

……..In truth, I should have added a magical barrier effect to block life forms with hostile intent, but due to a critical problem, I couldn’t quite manage to do that.

After maintaining the expanded internal space of the separate dimension and casting the “Forest of Disappearance” spell, the magical energy within the estate reached its limit, making it impossible to add any more magical effects.

Well, thinking about it, modifying this entire vast estate already consumes a considerable amount of magical energy.

Yet I was trying to add additional magical effects, so naturally, this alone wasn’t enough to accomplish anything more.

Therefore, the method I chose to enhance the estate’s defense was……..

“……..I’ll leave the training to you.”

“I shall follow your orders, my lord.”

Instead of letting the soldiers I had gathered remain idle, I decided to train them as guards for this estate according to my original plan.

Of course, I would train them to the level where they could all handle magical energy and imbue their weapons with it.

The equipment is surprisingly not that difficult to produce.

For armor, it’s sufficient to attach small plates of “Golden Dark Wood”—wood as hard as steel—to the upper part of armor made from reasonably tough magical beast hide.

This armor, similar in structure and durability to scale or lamellar armor, boasts enough durability to theoretically defend against musket bullets fired from a distance when paired with a special winter fur cloak.

As for weapons, I had originally planned to simply supply appropriate cold weapons, but…

Having inadvertently become deeply immersed in life-sized soldier play, I simply couldn’t be satisfied with just handing them cold weapons.

Therefore, I decided to provide them with special spears made using plants originating from the New Continent.

Among the numerous life forms living in the terrible jungles of the southern New Continent, there exist plants with magical powers, and among them, the one that caught my attention was a plant called the “Ray Banana.”

Unlike the banana commonly imagined, this straight, elongated plant can flexibly move its vines with banana flowers that haven’t yet borne fruit.

And these banana flowers have the power to absorb magical energy from the surrounding environment and then shoot magical rays from their tips.

The power increases proportionally to the absorbed magical energy, and the ability to absorb magical energy itself is quite remarkable.

Finding this power very attractive, I wanted to cultivate these Ray Bananas and grow only their flowers separately, and the result of this experiment is the spear I provided to them.

This spear, which can store enough magical energy to fire up to 10 rays, is a unique weapon that can not only be charged with the user’s magical energy but can also absorb ambient magical energy or the magical energy of enemies pierced by the spear tip.

With firepower that easily surpasses that of an ordinary musket and considerable range, it’s essentially a weapon that’s unbelievably advanced for the current level of civilization.

And for these soldiers, I… or more precisely, what my mother specially gifted when she heard I was raising soldiers.

These 100 entities are low-grade constructs made using sandalwood, white clay, and fallen horns and bones of silver deer.

Thanks to inheriting the physical characteristics of silver deer, they boast incredibly fast movement speed, possess self-healing abilities, and due to their unique materials, have several times the durability of living beings—these giant silver deer.

Their identity is essentially golem-like entities with the souls of silver deer (low-grade) that my mother had formed bonds with during her lifetime, processed into pseudo-animal spirits and placed inside.

Naturally, the reason my mother gifted these pseudo-golems was to provide cavalry that could move through the forest. Though it requires some practice, over time, I could operate a cavalry force of 100 riders.

And after completing the defensive aspects of the estate, I was finally able to create homes for each of my animal friends one by one.

Each home-habitat was configured as an independent dimension to build an environment tailored to that animal friend, and the power sources for these dimensions were the magical energy-producing organs (mainly hearts) of primitive magical beasts brought in large quantities from the New Continent.

The first subject was Hydra. About 20 times the size of the small swamp inside Tarasque, this place was completed in the form of the environment that Hydra loves most.

The next target was Kezak, the baby Chompantlus’s small home.

After asking him directly, I learned he preferred sunless jungles, so Kezak’s habitat became a jungle with a shallow but wide cave in the center.

For Nightmare Mary, I recreated the vast plains of the eastern part of the western continent, her homeland, as faithfully as possible, and for the mice, I provided an entire hill where they could freely dig burrows and build homes.

Additionally, there was a pseudo-tundra region for Robo, an artificial Aleinos Forest created for Astra, a moderately sized mountainous area for Gretel, and a large cage built at Corin’s request.

After completing all these environments and looking around them, I suddenly felt an indescribable emotion—something close to a sense of achievement—as I thought:

The results of everything I’ve accomplished so far are spread out before my eyes.
