    [Today’s Emergency Maintenance Patch Notice][103]

    04/02 23:00 ~ 04/03 23:59

    That’s literally the entire announcement.

    What were you expecting?

And what are you gonna do about it?

What CAN you do besides getting mad or cursing at customer service? lol

Shit, so my account got suspended for cursing at customer service

    (account_suspension_screenshot.jpg)

    [Comments]

    -Wow! Not even surprised anymore!

    -You get caught if you curse at customer service, dude;;

└ You should be grateful it only ended with account suspension lmao

-No explanation about what they’re even fixing, classic legendary move every time lol

-Should we… send a truck protest?

└ This actually deserves one, doesn’t it?

└ This isn’t the LoL gallery, what’s with the truck drama? Chill

└ Solo queue has broken balance, tournaments have match-fixing, and now emergency maintenance with zero notice for in-game issues? Definitely worth sending one

-Even small companies don’t operate this poorly

└ Riot Games somehow still wins by comparison lol

[Credible reason why Wearsoft is doing emergency maintenance][84]

    (NoName Part 2 clear screenshot.jpg)

    (NoName Part 3 clear screenshot.jpg)

See that? There’s a character standing right next to the player who shouldn’t exist.

    [Comments]

-How the hell did Adella survive lmao

-Is this really it? Seems plausible

-I’ve watched the whole stream and this is total BS;; She reset like 20 times and took penalties trying to save Adella

    └ That’s exactly why it’s a bug lol

    └ No it’s not!

-That character creator is god-tier though

-It was a pretty polished game but still has bugs I guess

-They’re doing emergency maintenance over a bug some nobody streamer found? That’s ridiculous lol

[People trying to bury NoName during this controversy are disgusting lol][185]

Since when did this gallery only cover ACK?

As soon as someone writes something that slightly offends them:

“Go back to your own gallery~”

    “Your promotion is so obvious~”

    “Streaming fans are so gross~”

Why are the patterns always the same? lol

Why is NoName being mentioned so much right now?

Because she’s streaming story mode in a years-old dead game, and she happens to be one of those rare streamers who gets super immersed, and it happens to be at 10/10/10 difficulty, and she happens to be on another level skill-wise lol

Everyone’s like “you’re not a real gamer” but I’ve been playing since launch day, idiots lol

    [Comments]

-For real, watching her boss fights gives me the same rush as when World of Arsheria first came out

└ That was just nostalgia back then, objectively NoName is actually better

-People worship “pros” but they’re just people who made gaming their job, nothing special

-Just look at the second-tier league, how many unwatchable matches are there? lol

-Korea hasn’t won a Champions Cup in 3 years, that’s our level

-Foreigners are already working on doxxing NoName

└ Those American bros don’t mess around

└ If they were going to dox her, it would’ve happened already lol. Remember all those regular people from Docu 4 Days who got doxxed and basically forced into streaming?

└ Well it worked out for her in the end

    [Why Wearsoft sucks][31]

I knew this would happen eventually.

They pulled all the main World of Arsheria devs to make their new VR game, started half-assing the operations, and now they’ve created a huge mess.

NoName seemed really upset. I hope she doesn’t quit streaming over this.

    [Comments]

    -Wearsoft never changes, I swear

-She’s put in how many hours of playtime, and customer service can’t even give a clear answer, just “wait for instructions from headquarters” nonsense lol

-Did she mention streaming tomorrow? I’m worried we won’t see her for weeks again

-I can’t tell if her mental is good or bad, I’m concerned

└Based on years of Twissy viewer instinct, she seems emotionally fragile

└Oh I felt exactly the same way

    [NoName cutest moments][14]

I was gathering energy to upload this after the stream ended, but my mood is ruined so I’ll do it tomorrow…

    [Comments]

-No matter what, you should’ve uploaded that first!!!!

-It was a perfect story except for the ending, ugh…

-Seems like she was born with every possible misfortune

-I swear I’m never playing World of Arsheria again if they don’t bring Adella back

-Could you possibly extract just the audio of NoName singing? PleaseIBegYou…

└(Author) I’ll upload that tomorrow morning

    [NoName voice filter extraction][25]

I have some expertise in this area so I made a voice filter extraction program for personal use, but why can’t I extract NoName’s?

There are only two possibilities: either the gender is completely different, or the real voice is almost identical to what we hear.

(Please don’t ask me to share this, you know it’s illegal)

    [Comments]

-I thought she was just using something from the streaming shop?

└(Author): No, that would be easy because I could just remove the overlay

    -Either way, it’s disturbing lol

└ I’d almost prefer if she had a kid’s voice

-NoName is our baby… we must protect her…

[I’m thinking of doing a one-person protest at Wearsoft headquarters, anyone want to join?]

    * * *

    “Hello.”

[Namei, how are you doing? Everything okay? Have you eaten?]

    “Yeah… I grabbed something quick.”

[Hmm, from your voice I can tell you only had one meal again.]

The dark room occasionally lights up as the smartphone screen automatically turns on, illuminating the ceiling.

So she flipped the phone over and buried her face in the pillow.

As she struggled to respond, Professor Cheon filled the ensuing silence.

[Your energy seems really low today. Are you feeling sick anywhere?]

“Sick? I’m perfectly fine. I think I’m just a bit tired from playing too much yesterday.”

[I’m sorry for waking you up so early. Oh, Namei, are you free on the 12th… so next Wednesday? Someone wants to meet you about the potion license contract. I’ve tentatively set the location as my research lab.]

“Oh, I don’t mind. Any time is fine.”

[Good. It feels like it hasn’t been long, but it’s nice hearing your voice after a while. Ah, tomorrow’s your academy day, so I shouldn’t keep you any longer. Sweet dreams!]

“Yes. You too, Professor Cheon. Though I guess it’s not your bedtime yet.”

The call abruptly ended, and the light indicating the call disappeared completely.

The room was nothing but silence.

It felt like floating in a world of nothingness, without light or sound.

She had wanted to tell Professor Cheon so many things during the call, but it ended up being just a simple check-in.

The lump in her throat felt so suffocating that she eventually turned halfway around and pulled the blanket over her head.

    “I knew I’d seen her somewhere…”

Adella’s silver bob cut wouldn’t leave her mind.

It felt like a winged cat circling above her head, teasing her.

Adella was, after all, just an AI.

A character designed by the gaming company Wearsoft for commercial purposes, given abilities and narrative, and ultimately placed in an open world.

But it wasn’t surprising that she didn’t immediately recognize that silver hair, cat ears, and those slightly slanted eyes.

In the photo, she had much longer hair than the current bob cut.

    “Al-Zahab’s pendant.”

In her past life, the pendant that the Demon King always wore around his neck contained a photo of someone who looked exactly like Adella.

Was it just coincidence that their faces overlapped?

Could it be that she had somehow been transported into the game world?

She couldn’t help but laugh at such an absurd speculation. That’s definitely not it.

First of all, the open world in the game had completely flat terrain. In other words, like flat-earthers claim, the earth wasn’t spherical and had clear boundaries.

That’s why as you approached the edge of the map, there would be endless uphill slopes. Because gravity acted toward the center.

But the world of her past life was so much like a parallel universe that the size of the earth was identical to the current one, and even the positions of the constellations were the same.

And no matter how realistically an open world was created, sensitive people like her would definitely feel something off compared to reality.

Like all the commands she gave to her body feeling 1ms slower than usual, or the flow of mana showing consistent patterns rather than randomness.

But her most plausible hypothesis had been rejected by perfect evidence, leaving her confused.

That confusion, combined with the emptiness that washed over her after the stream ended, gave her a splitting headache.

Twenty thousand, yes, nearly twenty thousand viewers had been watching her.

She should have been happy, should have felt joy…

    But why? Why didn’t she?

Come to think of it, she had turned off the stream without even saying goodbye.

At times like this, alcohol might help organize her thoughts, but unfortunately, there wasn’t a single can of beer to be found in the refrigerator.

She hugs a pillow as big as her body, wrapping her arms and legs around it tightly.

Just like when she used to sleep hugging Niobe, she childishly clings to her pillow.

    Yes, that’s right.

There’s no one to talk to openly.

No one to tell her about herself.

No one who understands what she’s feeling.

Perhaps she called Professor Cheon because she wanted to unload all these burdens.

But the reason she couldn’t… well, it was obvious.

Reincarnation, or being aware of a past life, truly brought with it extreme loneliness.

When she turned on the light to see why her pillowcase was so damp, she realized it was from her own eyes.

This body inconveniently produces too many tears, making it hard to control emotions.

It feels like the saying “humans are slaves to hormones” is painfully true. She tried to erase her worries with such meaningless thoughts, but they wouldn’t easily disappear.

    Crunch-

    “Ah.”

She clenched her teeth tightly, but suddenly something felt off, and she felt a small stone-like object in her mouth.

She wrapped it with her tongue and spat it out, and a white object fell onto the bed sheet.

    It was her lower tooth.

    “Seriously, nothing’s going right.”

When she touched the gap with her tongue, she tasted the metallic flavor of blood.

Meanwhile, she could feel the adjacent tooth also wobbling.

    Pop-

She opened her mouth as wide as possible, inserted her finger, and yanked out the other one too. This time it felt like more blood was coming out.

She immediately threw the two small teeth into the trash can and lay back down on the bed.

She mixed the continuously flowing blood with saliva and swallowed it.

It came from her body anyway, so it shouldn’t matter if she swallowed it.

Compared to the worries of her past life, this was truly trivial, but to sleep comfortably tonight, she needed to take action, so she brought her smartphone under the blanket.

    [World of Arsheria]

    [Rating: Not Recommended (★☆☆☆☆)]

    [🖕]

After leaving that rating, she carelessly threw the phone on the floor.

Just as she was about to fall asleep, a notification sound rang.

She sluggishly crawled out of bed and squinted at the message.

[Seo Ma-ru: I think I can make time tomorrow afternoon, why?]

It was Yuna’s brother, whom she had contacted earlier about editing work.
