Ch.115115. Achievement Shop (2)
by fnovelpia
If I don’t see any useful mods, I’m just going to level up experience gain.
Actually, there’s no mod with better efficiency in this game than experience gain.
Right now, it already gives me an additional 100% experience, and if I level it up, I can gain even more.
But what’s the purpose of leveling up?
It’s to gain farming ability points for faster growth.
Of course, increasing the number of accessories and armor pieces I can wear as I level up also plays a role.
But if there’s a mod with better efficiency than those reasons, it would be better to learn that first rather than leveling up the experience gain mod.
The achievement shop had so many mods.
There were mods, items that could be purchased from the achievement shop, and even gambling boxes that could be bought with achievement points.
There were farm boxes that randomly produced farms, and boxes that could give random grade weapons or accessories from B to SSS+.
Since achievement points are definitely a difficult resource to obtain, the minimum value is quite high, and the maximum value seems to literally break through the ceiling.
“This is ultimately the endgame.”
I’m not sure if there’s a way to steadily obtain infinite achievement points, but if I can get SSS+ grade items here, eventually I’ll need to open achievement boxes to complete a set of SSS+ weapons, armor, or accessories.
Well, it’s not like I absolutely have to complete SSS+ grade items, but it’s kind of my farming world principle.
Getting the highest grade of something makes me feel like I’ve reaped the rewards of my efforts.
“…It’s too much to buy now.”
I feel the urge to buy one.
I’m actually quite lucky here.
With beginner’s luck, if I could just get one SSS+ grade weapon, armor, or accessory, wouldn’t my life in this farming world open up brilliantly?
That kind of thinking.
This is the common mistake newbies make at the town gambling hall.
Probability is cold.
There might be an extremely small number of people who hit the jackpot, but there’s no guarantee I’ll be one of them.
This kind of gambling is something you do when you have extra resources.
Or when you absolutely must.
Like when I drew a mythical NPC while trying to get a town NPC.
Now is not the time to buy achievement boxes, but to choose mods.
Putting aside my regrets, I search for mods again.
What kind of mod would be good?
I’d prefer something that gives a higher chance of obtaining rare resources or items rather than just experience gain…
While looking around with that in mind, I finally discovered it.
“What?”
[Lv1] Chaos Energy effect/range/ratio increase +5%
This is a debuff.
But for me, it’s a buff.
“I must buy this.”
Chaos Energy can be seen as the root evil that covers this rift dimension and ultimately needs to be eliminated.
But in the process, the more Chaos Energy I remove and purify, the more I gain.
If Chaos Energy becomes stronger and more abundant, the purification energy will also become stronger and clearer, and in the end, I can purify Chaos Energy with stronger purification energy.
My desire to earn more money disguised as a noble goal.
I didn’t need to look at anything else.
Honestly, I also wanted to buy the [Lv1] Chaos Energy grade +1 right below it, but that mod required 30 achievement points, which I couldn’t even dream of right now.
At least the Chaos Energy effect/range/ratio 5% increase mod cost 5 achievement points, so I immediately purchased it with what I had.
[Used 5 Achievement Points]
[The effect, range, and ratio of Chaos Energy in the Secret Farming Map increases by 5%.]
[The effects of monsters, items, and resources affected by Chaos Energy increase by 5%.]
[The range of existing Chaos Energy expands by 5%.]
[The ratio of Chaos Energy existing in the Secret Farming Map increases by 5%.]
I invested the remaining 2 achievement points, 1 each in experience gain and Chaos Energy effect/range/ratio increase.
I wanted to max out the Chaos Energy effect first, but when I raised it to level 2, the points needed for level 3 became 2, leaving me with an awkward 1 achievement point.
I could wait for the next achievement point, but since leveling up experience gain is also efficient, I took what I could get right now.
4. [Lv2] Experience gain +150%
5. [Lv2] Chaos Energy effect/range/ratio increase +10%
“Wow, that’s quite generous.”
The experience gained in the rift dimension became 2.5 times.
This is so much that if it were a farming world, modders would accuse me of playing on a free server.
2.5 times experience is really a lot.
It means I can level up with the efficiency of gaining 2.5 times the experience from gathering or farming.
Thanks to the original double experience, I’ve already reached level 20.
Farming the Corrupted Forest must have contributed significantly.
Just defeating the remaining monsters and mining resources yielded this much, so the effect is definitely substantial.
Reaching level 20 increased my accessory slots by 1 and armor slots by 1.
Being able to wear a total of 6 each means my actual damage increase will be quite significant.
And the good thing about this experience increase is that it also applies to other team members like Kim Soo-jung and Lee Ji-hyun.
“Grow well, everyone.”
After finishing with the achievement points, it was time to use farming points.
The hidden quest was really helpful, as I had already accumulated 43 points, allowing me to immediately level up Login&Logout.
[Farming points needed for Login&Logout level 3: 13]
That’s way too expensive.
Even for a special skill like dimensional movement.
Of course, this skill is SSS+ grade and worth its value with each level up.
Still, I couldn’t help but sigh deeply and feel the pain in my bones, as if paying taxes.
“Sigh…”
[Used 13 Farming Points to level up skill [Login&Logout]!]
[Login&Logout]
– Grade: SSS+
– Level: 3
– Active Skill (Dimensional Movement)
– ‘Login’ to the ‘Secret Farming Map’. (Cooldown: 120 hours)
– ‘Logout’ to ‘Earth’. (Cooldown: 120 hours)
– When ‘Login’ or ‘Logout’, up to 2 companions can move dimensions together.
– ‘Login’ and ‘Logout’ can be stacked up to 2 times. Each stack accumulates when cooldown recovers.
Still, the level 3 option was enough to soothe my pain.
The efficiency keeps getting better.
It comforts and soothes me enough to make the invested points worthwhile.
“Two stacks is nice!”
First, the cooldown being reduced by another 24 hours to 5 days is a tremendous improvement.
The reduction from 7 days to 5 days is quite noticeable.
Considering that 5 days have already passed since I logged in without much thought, I might not need to wait for cooldowns anymore and can go out when needed after doing what I need to do.
And now I can take both Kim Soo-jung and Lee Ji-hyun, our farming company members, back and forth as the companion limit increased to 2.
The best part is that the stacks that became possible to accumulate as the level increased are already fully stacked from now on.
[Logout available times: 2]
[Login available times: 2]
The farming ability points needed for level 4 is 20, but I put that on hold for now.
It was too expensive to invest 20 points when it wasn’t immediately necessary.
Of course, the level 4 option seemed worth the 20-point investment.
Well, if I need to recruit more talent for the farm in the rift dimension, I can level it up then.
“It should be finished in about 3-4 days.”
Planning to bring Kim Soo-jung along and sell the hair loss medicine and elixir, I asked Lee Ji-hyun, who calculated and told me the time needed.
“Perfect.”
I planned to spend the remaining time going south to reclaim the swamp and collect lots of mud to use as fertilizer and for some kind of skin beauty mud potion.
For that purpose, I invested the remaining farming ability points in gathering.
I newly acquired the ‘Gathering (F)’ ability while collecting in the southern Corrupted Forest, so I could invest in it.
Originally, you could learn gathering ability by receiving and completing tutorial quests from the farming shop, which should be part of the basic progression tutorial in the farming world, but I was a bit late because the village opened late and I didn’t talk much with the village NPCs.
I didn’t even learn it from an NPC, but gained it naturally by repeating actions.
Investing all 30 points made it exactly B+ grade gathering ability.
It’s not as good as S- mining, but any increase in gathering efficiency is welcome.
If I had acquired it earlier, I could have raised the experience of the Chaos Stone Purification Cauldron a bit more, but it doesn’t matter much for level 0 biomes after level 8 anyway.
Watching Ji-hyun going upstairs with freshly baked bread spread with jam and milk, I headed toward the swamp.
