Chapter Index

“At first I was a bit worried, but fortunately things are going well. The students seem to be having a lot of fun.”

“Indeed. Despite some concerns, thanks to the class representatives performing their roles well, it looks like everything will finish without any major issues.”

The teachers watched the indoor event from the shadows where the lights didn’t reach, observing the festivities created by the students.

Most of the teachers had been working at Bulsa High for over 15 years, long enough to feel a sense of routine about school trips and events. Yet even they couldn’t take their eyes off this year’s school trip event.

“The surprise finale show was proposed by the students from Ms. Miso’s class, right? I thought students were already used to school trips, but here we are seeing something new again. They must have put quite a lot of effort into this?”

“Th-thank you, sir. It’s all thanks to the students who worked hard to ensure everyone could enjoy themselves.”

“Well, she’s definitely Ban Sol-young’s sister. Just like at the entrance ceremony, she has a way of drawing everyone’s attention. She’ll make it big someday, one way or another.”

    “I… I completely agree with that… I just hope that talent doesn’t develop in a negative direction…”

Teacher Yeo Mi-so couldn’t take the other teachers’ praise entirely positively. After all, since the entrance ceremony, the commotion caused by Do-young and Ha-min had been attracting the other teachers’ attention, for better or worse.

‘Phew… I guess at this point, I can consider this a success.’

Teacher Yeo Mi-so let out a sigh of relief as she watched the results announcement and award ceremony that marked the event’s conclusion.

The Miss Bulsa Contest had been chaotic from start to finish, filled with worries and concerns about whether it could be completed successfully.

But with the class representatives’ smooth hosting, the students’ enthusiastic response, and Do-young’s surprise show at the end, it could be considered a successful event both in process and outcome.

“Now, shall we hear a few closing words from Do Ha-mi?”

    “A… a few words…?”

“That… that wasn’t in the script, was it?”

Teacher Yeo Mi-so was startled by this unplanned ad-lib at the end, but she breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the microphone being passed to Ha-min rather than Do-young.

“It’s… it’s fine. If the microphone had gone to Do-young, it might have been a bit dangerous, but Ha-min should be fine. After all, she spent all of last night getting confidence and courage from Sol-young. That was all so she wouldn’t be surprised by these situations and could handle them confidently, trusting herself and the other students!”

Teacher Yeo Mi-so trusted her students. Even if they made small mistakes, it didn’t matter. The event had already concluded successfully.

“…Ah, I want to have sex.”

    “*Cough!*”

But it wasn’t over until it was truly over.

    **

    -Pop!

Like our friendly neighborhood hero stopping a runaway train with both hands, the button on my top that had been desperately holding on finally burst open.

    “Guhk!”

    -Screech, Thud!

The button flew off and struck Do Ha-min, who was standing next to me, right in the face, causing him to tumble off the stage.

    “Do, Do Ha-min…!”

    -Howliiiiing

To make matters worse, the microphone he was holding fell off the stage with him, creating a loud noise that echoed throughout the auditorium.

“The mic! Please mute all the microphone volumes!”

Do Ha-min had fallen off the stage with his wig now removed. I could see a stream of red flowing from beneath his nose, likely from the button hitting him there.

It had been a while since I’d seen Do Ha-min’s nosebleed, which made me feel both nostalgic and concerned. But given what he had just said before falling, his current appearance could easily lead to misunderstandings.

“Do Ha-mi-chan, or I guess it’s Do Ha-min now that the wig’s off? Anyway, are you okay? Breathe, breathe!”

“We’ll take care of Do Ha-min, Ban Do-young, you need to get backstage now! Your button’s torn off and your bra is showing! Cover yourself with something!”

“Do Ha-min just collapsed and you’re worried about a visible bra?!”

“Yes, it matters, so hurry up and get out of here!”

The previously cheerful atmosphere in the auditorium quickly turned into chaos. Though only Do Ha-min was actually bleeding, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say the entire place had become a bloodbath, considering he was the protagonist of this world.

“W-what was that just now? What did she say?”

“Did I hear wrong? Did Do Ha-mi just say sex—”

“Ahhh! Q-quickly, lower the curtain! All participants, please leave the stage! Turn off the lights!”

    -Click

“Ah! The lights went out! I’m sure I saw Ban Do-young’s shirt burst open!”

“Is that true? What color was underneath?”

“I don’t know, it went dark too quickly, but I think it was…”

“Ahhh! Everyone, the evening event is now over! You have free time until bedtime! Everyone, dismissed!”

Thanks to the small spark ignited by Do Ha-mi, the Miss Bulsa Contest ended in spectacular flames.

    .

    .

    .

    “I’m sorry.”

    “I’m sorry.”

After the first day’s events concluded, Do Ha-min and I were predictably summoned to Teacher Miso’s room.

I had changed from my button-burst Do-young outfit into comfortable casual clothes, and Do Ha-min, having regained consciousness, had removed all his makeup and returned completely to his normal self. Though his nosebleed hadn’t completely stopped, so he still had tissue stuffed in one nostril.

“Sigh… Really, I was worried about how things would end. Making such a dangerous statement in front of the entire first-year student body, not to mention all the other teachers…”

“It’s my fault. In that moment, I couldn’t think of anything else that would entertain the kids.”

“W-well, of course I understand that students your age are interested in such things…”

“Come on, Miso, you’re being too sensitive. Don’t scold them too harshly. They were just trying to make things fun.”

“It’s not that unusual for kids that age to talk like that. My son says his friends talk that way too when they’re together.”

“T-talking like that with friends might be a bit dangerous, don’t you think?”

The female teachers sharing the room with Teacher Miso didn’t seem to take it as seriously as she did. Of course, they all had much more teaching experience than Miso and had children around Ban Do-young and Do Ha-min’s age.

“Seeing Teacher Yeo Mi-so’s reaction, I should get married soon. It’s because you don’t have kids yet.”

“Who knows? You might have kids or you might not.”

“W-what are you saying, Do-young? This is exactly why I have no choice but to get angry! Last time you even asked me when my ovulation day was! If you keep this up, I’m really going to get mad!”

I had come hoping to take a picture of Teacher Miso in her disheveled yukata while being scolded, but it was difficult to find the right moment to take out my phone.

“It’s because Do-young keeps making such extreme jokes that Ha-min has been influenced too! I was relieved when the microphone was passed to Ha-min, thinking nothing would go wrong… but then even Ha-min, whom I trusted…”

“Huh, what’s that supposed to mean? Are you saying you don’t trust me?”

“N-no… I didn’t mean it in a bad way, just that I was being cautious!”

Teacher Miso seemed quite shocked that it was the trustworthy Do Ha-min, of all people, who had made such an explosive statement in an official setting.

The shock must have been significant, as her confident demeanor from the morning had disappeared, and she had reverted to the Teacher Miso I knew.

Of course, I was equally shocked. I hadn’t realized that the look Do Ha-min gave during that brief moment on stage was meant as such a signal.

So I was just as shocked as she was. Yes, even more shocked than when I saw Teacher Miso lose her virginity the night before the school trip.

“I’m sorry, Teacher. What happened today was entirely my mistake and had nothing to do with Ban Do-young. I’ll be more careful to ensure it doesn’t happen again.”

“I’m sorry for turning Do Ha-min into a sex-obsessed bird despite being a virgin myself.”

Regardless of the shock, the fact remained that we had caused a major disturbance at the end of the event. Do Ha-min and I bowed our heads 90 degrees to Teacher Miso in apology.

“Haah… Since you both worked hard for today’s event, I won’t take away the rewards I promised you or impose any penalties.”

Perhaps our sincere apologies had gotten through to her. Her angry, cute voice had calmed down somewhat.

“But please, I’m begging you, show some restraint during the rest of the trip, okay?”

    “Yes.”

    “Understood.”

“Good. You both worked hard today. Go get some rest.”

    “Thank you.”

“Thank you. Oh, before I go, can I take one picture of Teacher Miso?”

    “Huh? I don’t mind, but…”

    “Say cheese.”

    “Ch-cheese…”

“Now smile as brightly as if you love my firstborn son?”

    “He-hehe?”

    *Click*

    “Mmm, pretty. Thanks, teachers!”

    “D-delete that right now! Quickly!”

    “Haha, have a good night!”

After fulfilling the investor’s request, Do Ha-min and I said goodbye to the teachers in the room and stepped out into the hallway.

“I’m sorry. The accident earlier was entirely my fault, but I dragged you into it too.”

“What can we do? These things come with shared responsibility. Still, it ended well. We didn’t get scolded too badly.”

“I guess I can’t avoid being treated like garbage by the girls in our class tomorrow… hahaha.”

“Then all the more reason to prepare well for the upcoming schedule. If you don’t want me calling you garbage too.”

    “…Huh?”

“I’m quite looking forward to it, you know? To see how Do Ha-min will entertain Miss Ban Do-young at the amusement park tomorrow.”

I whispered softly to Do Ha-min as he was trudging dejectedly toward his room.

    “See you tomorrow, Do Ha-min.”

“Y-yeah… see you tomorrow, Ban Do-young.”

On the eve of this world’s most important event, we parted ways to our respective rooms.
