Ch. 113 MtF – Chapter 113

    Chapter 113

    **Cyber Girl Natsu. (4)**

    “What did you say?”

“Ahaha, maybe that’s asking too much?”

I tilted my head in confusion at something Inari had just said mid-conversation.

No, it wasn’t a matter of too much or not…

Wait, what? I must’ve been distracted and missed it properly, so I asked again just to be sure.

“Um, I mean… If you were in the stream watching with my parents, I might be able to go through with it…”

“…Wouldn’t having _more_ people make you even _more_ nervous?”

“It’s totally different if _you_ are the one added, Nacchan!”

Inari’s face was full of conviction as she said that.

I’m just an ordinary person—can just my being there really give her that much courage?

Honestly, I was the one who initially suggested letting her parents observe the stream, but for Inari to actually go through with showing her content to them… that was basically a self-destruct move.

Yet here she was, saying she could do it _if I were there_.

She really is something else, this Inari.

“Besides, my parents also like cute things like me, so… hmm, if Nacchan’s there, maybe it’ll all work out.”

    “You’re seriously oversimplifying this, hey.”

“Just think of it as the kind of simple logic I was raised with!”

I sighed deeply as Inari—now in a semi-panic—started saying all sorts of things.

How did it even come to this?

I was planning to just listen a little, share my own stuff a little, and call it a day. But suddenly I was roped into streaming _with_ Inari.

    _And_ her parents, too!

“Oh right, could we take a picture together? I want to send it to my parents.”

“I mean, I don’t mind, but… make sure to say I’m a colleague, okay? Don’t twist the story.”

    “Of course!”

Inari squatted down and pulled out her phone.

Then she leaned cheek to cheek with me and smiled brightly. Honestly, she didn’t look like someone who’d been worried just moments ago.

Seriously… just because I agreed to be there, she’s this happy?

Anyway, the photo we took together—honestly, we didn’t match _at all_.

An adult woman in a suit next to a tiny kid in casual clothes.

“I feel like your parents won’t believe this…”

“Yeah… I mean, who’d believe Nacchan and I are the same age? Ahaha.”

“Oh, then let’s include this too.”

I pulled out my company badge from inside my jacket and showed it to her. Inari clapped like it was a great idea.

Whether showing this would really convince them I’m an adult… was still up in the air.

Anyway, Inari had finished sharing her stuff, so now it was my turn.

Maybe because I wasn’t used to opening up, it was hard to start speaking.

Up until now, Toya was the only one I ever really talked to about my worries.

“I shared all my worries, so isn’t it only fair for Nacchan to share too?”

    “Hmm…”

“Wait, are you lying? You know the Japanese saying, ‘If you lie, you swallow a thousand needles,’ right? Though I’d settle for you staying with me all day instead!”

“…I’ll talk, so stop shoving your face so close.”

    I never said I wouldn’t!

I pressed my fingers against Inari’s squatting, looming cheeks to push her back.

Also—was she wearing makeup? Well, I guess she _did_ say she came here under the pretense of a job interview.

“It’s not even that big a worry, really…”

Inari listened intently as I hesitated, while I tried my best to explain it clearly.

It was a bit complicated, but not _too_ complicated—a worry somewhere in between. As I explained it, I also sorted through my thoughts.

I could contact them anytime, but figuring out _what_ to say was the tricky part.

When I finished explaining, Inari had a slightly puzzled expression.

I guess that made sense… it _was_ a pretty ambiguous situation.

“Now that I think about it, you’ve got quite the work history, huh, Nacchan? That means you’re technically my senior.”

    “I wouldn’t go that far…”

“Well, since V-Spe is technically my first job, I don’t know if I can give real advice, but… if I _had_ to say something—”

    “Yeah?”

“I think I’d start by just asking how they’ve been. Like, ‘Have you eaten dinner?’ or ‘I had this today.’ That kind of thing. I mean, they _were_ your company’s CEO, right? Though I’m not sure if their vibe was the same as my CEO’s…”

True, the CEO of Straight and the CEO of V-Spe did have _very_ different vibes.

The one commonality was that they were both genuinely good people.

Inari’s suggestion wasn’t a solid answer, but it helped me get a better feel for it.

Don’t approach it like a business call—keep it casual, everyday.

Of course, I’d wait to make the call until after parting ways with Inari.

“By the way, where’s Toya? I doubt you came to the office alone~”

“Toya’s practicing in the lesson room. The live’s coming up soon.”

“Ah, right. Maybe I’ll swing by and tease her a little.”

“…Considering how you look right now, I think _you’re_ the one who’ll get teased.”

Toya would definitely burst out laughing, saying “Inari in a suit looks so weird!”

Inari seemed to imagine that very scene and started laughing awkwardly.

    Thought so.

Still, as long as it’s just saying hi and not actual teasing, I doubt it’ll get too rowdy.

“Since you’re all dressed up, don’t you want to go show off to Toya?”

“We see each other all the time. I don’t _need_ her seeing me like _this_.”

“Don’t say that. Come walk me to the lesson room. Otherwise, I’ll tell Toya that you ditched me here and went home because you didn’t want to see her.”

“…Nacchan, you do realize you’ve gotten _way_ more cunning lately, right?”

    No clue what you mean.

I tilted my head innocently, and Inari sighed long and hard as if to say, “Forget it.”

**[Did Inari announce a special guest?]**

    > [(Inari’s special guest announcement.JPG)]
    > Of course she did, why else would I post this lmao

ㄴ [Is this the first time a V-Spe member’s parents are appearing on stream?]
ㄴ [“Revealing the parents” sounds kinda weird though lol]
ㄴ [(Don’t be mean to Inari, Kon)]
ㄴ [Judging by the silhouette, isn’t that just Natsu?]
ㄴ [Shut it, you lore deniers.]
ㄴ [If you’re gonna be on Han Yeoreum Gallery, at least learn Japanese, no?]
ㄴ [Bruh, Han Yeoreum was originally a Korean VTuber. Of course some people won’t know Japanese.]
ㄴ [(Natsu: “I will sue the Joseonese.” Kon)]
    ㄴ [So it’s Natsu + Inari’s parents as guests?]
ㄴ [What kind of chaotic combo is this lmao]
ㄴ [If it’s Inari, this is peak Inari energy lmao]
ㄴ [We apologize for our Inari…]
ㄴ [Are apologies just the default mode now? lol]

**[Should we upvote if we think Inari’s gonna say something insane again?]**

    > [(Clip of Inari sexually harassing Natsu.MVI)
    > (Clip of Inari yelling about loving lolis.MVI)
    > (Clip of Inari declaring “there’s no such thing as too young.”.MVI)]
    > Let’s be real, Inari is seriously unhinged lol

    ㄴ [Not “a little unhinged,” she’s _gone_]
ㄴ [If her parents hear this, she’s socially dead lmao]
ㄴ [If I were Inari, no way I’d let this stuff get out lol]
ㄴ [Imagine your family reading your online comment history. Nightmare fuel.]
ㄴ [I’d end it on the spot fr]
ㄴ [Not suicide—_natural_ death, for sure lol]
    ㄴ [Natural death lmao]
ㄴ [Natural + dignified death combo lol]

**[I just left a Wisp comment asking if she had a bad dinner.]**
ㄴ [You should’ve asked if she got involved in some weird cult instead lol]

ㄴ [But seriously, is this _actually_ okay?]
ㄴ [I mean, if it wasn’t, the stream wouldn’t be scheduled.]
ㄴ [Bro, then was it okay when she screamed about lolis before? Now she’s bringing her parents to the stream. What if they check her archives after?!]
    ㄴ [This isn’t a stream—it’s a _public execution_]

**[Honestly, I never liked Inari, but I’ve decided to respect her from now on.]**

**[How did she even _think_ of showing her streams to her parents? That’s gotta be a choice _only_ this timeline’s Inari would make.]**

ㄴ [Wasn’t it Natsu who suggested it?]
ㄴ [So Natsu just set Inari up for social suicide??]
ㄴ [Showing your family? Bruh, come on lmao]
ㄴ [(Natsu: “I was secretly Korean.” Kon)]
ㄴ [“All I could think was killing the one who harassed me… Inari.”]

ㄴ [Respect? Sure. Want to do it myself? Absolutely not.]
ㄴ [Just imagining my parents seeing my online behavior makes me dizzy.]
    ㄴ [??? : “You’ll be fine. You won’t die lol”]
ㄴ [Bro, she _will_ die lol]

ㄴ [If Inari ends up graduating, I bet _this_ stream will be the cause lol]
