    Ch.104Ultra Hero

“So you’re saying Princess Kurumi… no, now the Head of the Family, was eavesdropping on our conversation and went into shock, ending up like this?”

“Yes, unfortunately the shock seems to have been too great for her.”

    “Doo-ta-ta-ta!”

When almost everyone in the territory who could fight had headed to the city center to stop Gojillia, only Katsuo remained by Kurumi’s side.

Thanks to his excellent physical abilities, he had accidentally overheard the family circumstances (?) of Shinwoo’s family along with the Head of the Family.

After hearing about the future, he immediately deduced the cause of Kurumi’s “doo-ta regression.”

“It seems she was most shocked by the fact that the blonde boy standing there isn’t her child.”

“No, even if you say that…”

“This is all because you couldn’t keep your lower body in check, Han Shinwoo.”

    “That’s a misunderstanding!”

    “Doo-ta~!”

In front, the Head of the Family Kurumi was half out of her mind, just giggling like a child.

Behind her, the son from the future was looking at him with contemptuous eyes for instantly breaking a woman who had been perfectly fine moments ago.

At this moment, Shinwoo felt like he was some kind of terrible criminal.

The atmosphere was heavy as even Katsuo remained silent, having nothing particular to say.

    “Pfft!”

In such an atmosphere, there was only one person who could laugh—the winner of the fierce cat fight, Sophia.

“Serves you right! Always sticking close to MY Shinwoo! Always trying to make moves on MY Shinwoo! Always flashing your chest like you’re in heat around MY Shinwoo!!! Serves you riiiight!!! Gaaack!!!!”

Her victory cry was filled with almost palpable madness.

Anyone who saw her might think she was a war hero who had returned after defeating a lifelong enemy.

She was dancing around, swinging her head as if she were at a club.

    “How can I fix this?”

“Well… they say there’s no medicine for mental illness.”

Meanwhile, Lia, who had emerged from the shadows out of concern for her sister, was trying to calm Sophia down.

Shinwoo and Katsuo were both dumbfounded as they watched Kurumi becoming more and more childlike.

    But then…

“Why are you so shocked about this?”

    “Huh?”

“Han Shinwoo, did you think I was your only child? I’m not even your first child.”

    “…What?”

    “……Huh?”

    “What did you say?”

    Suddenly, shocking news.

“Son… what do you mean? Do you have siblings…?”

“Huh? Oh, yes… I do. They all have different ‘mothers,’ but technically they’re all family.”

    “D-different mothers…”

    “All different women?!”

    Father: Han Shinwoo.

But all the mothers are different.

That was the family tree of future Shinwoo’s family.

Sophia, who had been confident in her victory in this apparent “polygamous” situation—or rather, what was essentially polygamy in Han Shinwoo’s love life—was…

    “Doo…”

    “Mother?”

    “Doo-ta! Doo-ta!”

    “Mother?!”

    “Sister!”

She went into “doo-ta mode” from the shock.

    On the other hand…

“O-Of course! There’s no way I could lose!”

Kurumi quickly recovered to her normal state, realizing there was still hope.

After all, it was common knowledge that the “official wife” is usually the one who bears the first child.

    I’m the official wife!

    The others are all concubines!

With that belief, she looked at her son from a different mother!

Though she wasn’t sure if he was a nephew or cousin in terms of the family tree, but anyway, he wasn’t a complete stranger to her. Kurumi asked with a trembling heart:

“Um, can I call you Jaewon?”

    “Huh? Oh, yes…”

“Doo-ta… Ah, hey! Don’t talk to someone else’s son so casually!”

    Ignoring that…

“Um, Jaewon, I have a question! My children! I mean, Kitsune Kurumi’s children—are they older or younger than you?”

    “…What?”

“…! O-Of course they must be younger! Hey, Kurumi. If you keep this up, I won’t even accept you as a concubine, let alone the official wife. Got it?”

“W-Who’s a concubine?! I might actually be the official wife!”

    “What?!”

    “What?!”

Who had sex with him first.

This seemed more important than Gojillia or anything else at the moment.

    Zzzzzzt!

As they shot laser glares at each other, neither willing to back down even a step, both suddenly arrived at the same thought.

    ‘Wait a minute…’

‘By the way, who did Shinwoo lose his virginity to?’

They both knew who had taken their virginity, but who was the first person Shinwoo had been with?

“”…Of course it must be the woman who bore his first child.””

The two of them turned their sharp gazes simultaneously toward Han Jaewon.

Regardless of whether the son from the future flinched or not.

    “Hey, Jaewon…”

“Shinwoo’s first child! No matter how many wives or children he has, you must know who the first one is, right?”

    “Han Shinwoo’s first child…?”

Sophia and Kurumi were extremely curious about the identity of the wife who had given birth to Shinwoo’s very first child.

“Who’s the mother of that first child… I mean, who’s the wife?”

“Is she here? She is, right?!”

“Huh? Oh, well… if you’re asking if she’s here, then yes, she is…”

    “…!”

    “I knew it!! She’s here!!”

As they heard Jaewon’s answer, both women felt their stomachs tighten.

    On Kurumi’s side:

‘It’s already confirmed that Jaewon isn’t Shinwoo’s first child. Then surely the mother of the first child must be me, Kitsune Kurumi?’

Since the handsome son Han Jaewon wasn’t the first child.

She thought that she must be the official wife, whether she liked it or not.

    Meanwhile, on Sophia’s side:

‘Shinwoo and I have such great chemistry. Jaewon must be the second or third child, and there must be a separate first child.’

    Jaewon was the second.

And she thought there must be a separate first child in the future, believing that Shinwoo was completely hers from beginning to end.

But contrary to both of their deductions.

    *Swish*

Han Jaewon briefly looked around and started to hesitate.

However, this didn’t seem like a problem that could be solved by simply buying time.

‘Whatever it is, they say it’s better to take your beating quickly…’

    *Point!*

With a concerned sigh, Jaewon finally pointed to the woman who had first united with Han Shinwoo to create his firstborn.

    “Me?!”

    “Me?!”

“…It doesn’t seem to be either of you.”

    “……Huh?”

Exactly in the middle between Sophia and Kurumi.

As the four people naturally directed their gaze there… especially Shinwoo, wondering what kind of person his future self really was.

    “…?!”

Just a confused baby monster by herself.

As they faced Lia, the future official wife(?), Shinwoo could feel sharp gazes on the back of his head.

    ***

    “Everyone, please evacuate quickly!”

    “What’s the status of Gojillia?”

“Well, we’re currently trying to lure it toward the sea using helicopters, but it still seems to be eyeing the downtown area!”

    Osaka Dotonbori.

One of Osaka’s most famous tourist attractions and the place with the largest crowds in Osaka was currently in chaos.

The reason was obviously the revived Gojillia.

Looking up just a bit above the tall skyscrapers, one could see a monster larger than a mountain covering the sky.

A National Disaster-Level monster that could destroy an entire district just by moving its feet a few times.

“Damn, how are we supposed to deal with that thing?”

Not only the current Japanese government.

Even the US Forces in Japan had determined they didn’t know where or how to approach it, so they were currently trying to lure the creature to the uninhabited sea.

    But then.

    Thud-thud-thud-thud.

    “Huh, what?”

“Hey, why is it suddenly changing direction?”

The helicopter that had been successfully luring the monster suddenly changed direction back toward the mountains.

An A-rank Japanese Hunter who was evacuating people asked his subordinates:

“J-just now, we got a message from the Self-Defense Forces saying they changed the plan!”

“What?! But we’ve already deployed all our Hunter forces by the sea! What nonsense is this?”

“Well… they said if Gojillia is capable of underwater movement, it could swim to other countries, so we should fight on land if possible…”

“Damn it! They should have said that earlier!”

We’re not chess pieces that can move exactly as planned.

The Hunter forces that had been stationed at Osaka Port had suddenly become useless.

Moreover, the opponent was a living creature.

    “…Grrrk?”

    “Uh, uhh?”

“T-that thing seems to be l-looking this way!”

Even cats get tired of treats if you keep giving them for hours.

This meant they couldn’t keep using helicopters to lure it forever.

After waking up after a century, how hungry must this monster be?

    “S-specimen name: Gojillia…”

“It appears to be heading toward downtown.”

“Captain Shirako! We just got a message from the helicopter team that the creature is ignoring them and moving on its own!”

Gojillia began descending from the mountains toward the city.

In between, what appeared to be Japanese Self-Defense Force fighter jets could be seen flying around, trying to attack and somehow take it down.

    Boom! Boom!

    “It’s not even flinching…?”

A monster that had nearly brought humanity to the brink of extinction, like in the hero movies he’d watched as a child.

In those movies, a spandex-wearing ultra hero always appeared at this moment to save the weak.

But this was cold reality, without such heroes.

In a way, they themselves might be the heroes fighting such monsters.

“Can we really defeat that thing?”

    “Captain Shirako! Pull yourself together!”

“Even if we win, now that it’s entered the downtown area, can I really handle the damage when it falls…?”

    “……!”

Whether it falls or is taken down, astronomical casualties were inevitable.

Veteran Hunters who had been in the business for a long time began to fall to their knees one by one, already anticipating the reality.

    “That’s… too unfair!”

    Just out of frustration.

At the overpowered specs of that monster.

And at the reality that there was no hero to fight such a thing, all combat forces watching Gojillia were about to lose their fighting spirit when suddenly—

    KWANG-!

    “KIEEEEEK!”

    “…Huh?”

    They saw it.

The jaw of Gojillia, which was about to step into downtown, suddenly flew upward with a tremendous boom.

The mountain-sized monster fell backward toward the mountains, letting out a painful scream.

And landing in front of it…

    “Grrrr.”

    “M-monster?”

    “Is that…?”

A pitch-black hero, as small as themselves.
