    Ch.103Ep.103 D-3

“Kuk… Khuhuhu… I never thought this day would come.”

“Shut up. If you die now, everything ends.”

    “It’s a shame that Radios isn’t here, but… well, that’s fine.”

Despite coughing up blood from his severe injuries, Yog-Sothoth couldn’t wipe the smile off his face.

How could he not find this amusing?

Poseidon, who had fought him so fiercely, had come personally to rescue him.

And that wasn’t all. By her side were two others whom he had believed lacked divine orders.

Arsia, Radios’ woman, and Brina, his mentor figure.

He had expected Kraud to move with Poseidon, but instead, two beings had awakened their divine orders and appeared.

He never thought such a scene would unfold…

‘Their divine orders have perfect synergy. It’s a team that couldn’t be defeated even if ordinary enemies attacked together.’

Poseidon of the waterways, Kraud of time and death.

And Arsia Cromwell of foresight, and Brina of blood demons.

In truth, just having Kraud and Arsia together boasted maximum efficiency.

If Kraud used his divine order to accelerate Arsia’s time, she could see the future that much faster.

And if he just planted the Blade of Skyte in an enemy, death would be implanted immediately, ending the game.

However, he couldn’t say with certainty that this combination could stand against an Ascended Order.

If that were possible, they wouldn’t be running away but would have fought Azathoth to the death.

Of course, if Chaos joined midway, they would have no choice but to flee, but what did it matter?

This was enough to possibly mount some form of “resistance.”

“Is this the legendary goblin healing technique? The recovery speed is faster than expected.”

“Perfect healing is impossible. You know that well, don’t you?”

“Yes… I’ll last three days at most.”

After three days, survival would be impossible no matter what methods were used.

Yog-Sothoth had already suffered irreparable wounds from Azathoth’s Outer Devouring power.

Nevertheless, the reason he could maintain his life was because he was an Ascended Order whose concept had been fully established.

And Kraud’s sorcery, which utilized alchemy, played a significant role.

“I never thought we’d form an alliance like this… but I entrust myself to you for this short time.”

    “…”

Yog-Sothoth extended his trembling hand to Poseidon.

Since Poseidon had once been his prisoner, he was the first to offer a hand of reconciliation.

She looked at Yog-Sothoth’s hand and fell into thought.

An enemy with whom she had fought for years was now proposing an alliance.

Though she knew she had to take that hand in this situation, her reluctance was an unavoidable instinct.

But that didn’t last long. Setting aside personal feelings, Poseidon accepted the alliance.

The last survivor of the Outer Universe and the last survivor of Olympus joined hands to face a common enemy.

“Have you gathered any information about Azathoth?”

“Just that my attacks won’t work on that bastard. In a combat situation, I can only use my full power against Chaos.”

The relationship between creator and creation was truly difficult to sever.

No matter how powerful the attack, everything was useless before Azathoth’s transcendent power of devouring.

The transcendent order of boundaries, magic using the Necronomicon, spatial cutting using Barzai’s crescent blade.

To Azathoth, these were all attacks he knew well, attacks derived from himself.

Even powers he couldn’t absorb through devouring, he had the judgment to avoid in that fleeting moment.

“Forming an alliance is good. But… do we have any chance of winning?”

At the very least, they could give Chaos or Azathoth a taste of defeat.

Perhaps it might even be possible to annihilate one of them.

However, there would be nothing left even if they succeeded in annihilation.

Since they already knew all the truths of the world.

An annihilated soul would be reborn in a new form when a new world was created.

Whether it was Hemera who had awakened her transcendent order, or Yog-Sothoth, or even one of Chaos or Azathoth.

To break this long chain of slaughter, they had to kill both Azathoth and Chaos.

But with their current strength, as mentioned earlier, they could at best kill only one.

Was this the right thing to do?

“The captain will return. Then we can win.”

“Radios Magnum…? I’m not sure… he’s just one of those who awakened a divine order.”

“We can win. If only the captain returns.”

    “..! You?”

This wasn’t just confidence—it was blind faith.

If someone else had said those words, Yog-Sothoth might have dismissed them.

But when Arsia, who possessed the divine order of foresight, uttered those words, his heart began to race with hope.

It was too early to give up. If that human had seen something in the future…

    “Did you see some—”

    KWAGWAGWANG!

Just as Yog-Sothoth opened his mouth to question Arsia,

The temporarily created world shattered, and various monsters from the Outer Universe, including Idra, revealed themselves.

“So this is where you were hiding?”

“I’ll hold them off! Everyone, run!”

    KURURUNG.

As soon as he realized they had been discovered, Kraud stepped forward and raised his magical power.

Once discovered by Idra, there was no way to escape without casualties.

They had already discussed that if someone needed to launch a surprise attack, Kraud would sacrifice himself.

Arsia bit her lip but had no choice but to flee.

    “Father…”

“Brina. Don’t worry. Do I look like someone who would die so easily?”

    “…You must stay safe. Absolutely.”

“Don’t worry and go quickly. If you delay any longer, it will truly be the end.”

    “…Thank you.”

    TADAT.

After saying her final farewell, Brina followed the others.

Idra signaled to the monsters, but—

“I’m sorry, but I can’t let you pass.”

“…Do you think a mere beast like you can stop this army?”

    “I probably can’t stop them. But… I think I can buy time.”

    CHWAAAK!

As Kraud swung Skyte, 10% of the monster forces were swept away by death.

Even this was the result of Idra detecting it first and placing a barrier in front of the monsters.

She narrowed her eyes at Kraud’s unexpectedly strong response.

‘Goblin Chief Kraud… The reincarnation of Cronos, wielding both death and time divine orders. Estimated power: greater than Cronos at his peak as the divine king…’

When Cronos ruled Olympus as the divine king, he established many great achievements.

The fact that he wielded two divine orders simultaneously was proof of this.

Even Yog-Sothoth, who betrayed Azathoth, was reluctant to face him.

Yet suddenly he lost his throne and faced annihilation.

She realized that this entire sequence of events was a self-orchestrated play by Cronos to protect Olympus.

If Cronos had continued to rule Olympus, Yog-Sothoth would have led the invasion of Olympus with four fragments.

And then, any possibility of stopping the Outer Gods would have vanished.

It was a method of increasing their chances by sacrificing himself, and Cronos willingly executed it.

Would Kraud, his reincarnation, be any different?

‘It’s impossible for me to kill him now.’

So she had planned to use the monsters of the Outer Universe to wear down his strength.

Until she saw what was happening before her eyes.

    “Wh-what…?”

“This world is doomed anyway. Why not use the alchemy I’ve designated to my heart’s content?”

“The dead ones are coming back to life?”

Idra witnessed the surreal scene and only then remembered.

That the origin of all sorcery used by the current goblin tribe came from Kraud.

And that every alchemy he possessed was the worst kind of sorcery that defied reason.

    “Berserker.”

    “..!”

    KRURURURU.

After commanding the monsters with Subduing Dead, Kraud cut his arm and used the falling blood to cast a spell.

    Berserker.

Using the master’s blood as a medium to increase the physical abilities of subordinates twentyfold.

The side effect was that once the spell was cast, it couldn’t be paused, and after 10 minutes, they would self-destruct.

    “Infinite Proliferation.”

As Kraud muttered this, massive tentacles began to grow behind him.

Infinite Proliferation was a spell that created endlessly multiplying tentacles.

The cost was an enormous amount of magical power, and the spell couldn’t be canceled.

The only way was for the user’s magical power to be depleted and their source destroyed.

    “Chain Destruction.”

As he waved his hand at the monsters he commanded, an unidentifiable blood-red pattern appeared on them.

From now on, when they attacked an enemy, that enemy would suffer eternally until death.

The side effect was that they would explode and die as soon as the attack succeeded.

But he could just revive them with Subduing Dead.

    “Y-you madman…”

“Do you finally understand what you’re facing, witch?”

His voice was like that of a cold judge delivering a verdict.

With his hands behind his back, Kraud looked down at Idra with chilling eyes.

He exuded an intimidating presence reminiscent of Azathoth.

“Although I may not have awakened an Ascended Order…”

If he could strip away such cumbersome modifiers and fight with pure power alone.

“In this world, no one can surpass me.”

    “U-uaaaaaaah!!”

Consumed by fear, Idra screamed and rushed toward Kraud.

But he, without changing his expression, commanded his subordinates.

    “Sweep them away.”

    [KRAAAAAAAH!]

As Kraud’s subordinates charged at his command,

    KWAAAANG!!

    The battle of madness began.
