    Ch.101Ep.101 D-4

    “Is this the end…”

Yog-Sothoth muttered, biting his lip as he suffered from severe injuries.

Awakening his Ascended Order and facing Idra and Nyarlathotep had gone well enough.

The problem was that Chaos suddenly intervened and ruined everything.

His Ascended Order, the power of nothingness, was a fraudulent divine ability that erased everything.

And since this power had extreme superiority over Yog-Sothoth’s Ascended Order of boundaries.

Unless Yog-Sothoth was stronger, he couldn’t face someone of higher realm like Chaos.

Fortunately, since most of the concept establishment was completed, he could temporarily create a world and escape.

But because the world was made temporarily, its durability wasn’t very good.

Exactly three days after creation, the world’s rigidity gradually deteriorated into garbage.

And that bitter end was unfolding before his eyes.

Cracks were gradually forming in the world, bringing the temporarily established world to the brink of disappearance.

It was only because Yog-Sothoth’s Ascended Order was boundary.

If it had been others, the world wouldn’t have lasted even three days.

That’s how fragile the world was where Yog-Sothoth was barely surviving.

    “Still… I don’t plan to die easily.”

The fragment containing Azathoth’s thought had now become Yog-Sothoth’s exclusive property.

He had succeeded in completely erasing his thought and even incorporating it.

So he had prevented the worst-case scenario of Azathoth becoming stronger.

The problem was that Azathoth must have noticed this situation.

    “I’ll figure that out somehow.”

His physical condition was already terrible, and thinking more negative thoughts would only make him feel worse.

    “Sigh…”

It was only natural to feel conflicted watching the cracks that were growing by the minute.

From the moment those cracks disappeared, a continuous struggle would begin.

“If only that Radios were here, he’d be a great help.”

Since Azathoth had revealed himself, it was safe to assume Radios was dead.

Also, with Chaos’s appearance, he indirectly learned about Olympus’s destruction.

Now the only beings who could help him were Poseidon, who had turned her back on Olympus, and.

The goblin Kraud, who stood by Radios’s side.

But even if these two beings with Divine Order came to support him.

Could they possibly stand against two beings with Ascended Order…

    Crack. Crack-crack.

    “Now it’s the limit.”

As the gradually expanding cracks completely consumed the sky of the world.

Yog-Sothoth realized it was time and got up.

He was grateful just to have had three days to catch his breath.

    “Vharzai’s crescent blade, Necronomicon.”

    It’s all or nothing now.

At the very least, he should take Azathoth’s head before he goes.

    KWAAAANG!

As soon as Yog-Sothoth finished preparing for an all-out attack, the temporarily created world collapsed.

And all the beings outside rushed toward him at once.

    “What the hell..!”

Yog-Sothoth, who had expected Azathoth and Chaos to appear from the start, was shocked by the endless army.

They were neither Outer Gods, Elder Gods, nor Great Old Ones.

    Their identity was.

    “This is too much, Chaos!!”

They were all life forms born solely to drain Yog-Sothoth’s power.

All life forms that had perished with their Order intact and lost their consciousness.

    **********

    “Me?”

    “Yes.”

Radios made an expression that said this was nonsense.

But looking at the face of the man before him, anyone would recognize him as Radios Magnum.

Except that the right side of his face was damaged by burns.

Also, the fact that they all carried Twilight Swords made no sense.

The Twilight Sword was a skill created by Radios, one that absolutely no one else could use.

Assuming they weren’t replicated using the Divine Fragment: Power of Replication, the people before him were indeed Radios Magnum.

    ‘But how?’

Let’s think logically. Do you believe doppelgangers exist in the world?

They might. But what if there were about 100 doppelgangers?

It’s not like they’re clone humans, isn’t that strange?

The same person can’t exist in such numbers. This must be a dream.

“–That’s what you seem to be thinking, but we are all Radios Magnum. Though we differ in specifics.”

    “What does that mean?”

“We lost our names long ago. If I had to be specific, I could say we were once Radios Magnum.”

Radios made a confused expression at the man’s nonsensical words.

Were once Radios Magnum? No, the real one is right here, so why suddenly say “were once”?

The man seemed to realize his words were a bit strange and nodded.

“You already know the truth about the world anyway. Just think of us as those who were born with the fate of ‘Radios Magnum’ in previous worlds and then died due to Azathoth’s schemes.”

    “..!”

“Judging by your expression, you understand now. Shall we have a proper conversation then?”

“No, wait. You’re saying… you were all Radios Magnum from destroyed worlds?”

    According to Radios’s understanding.

Their identities were beings from worlds created by Azathoth and Chaos’s bet.

All had lived as apostles of either Azathoth or Chaos.

And it meant they had been betrayed by them and met their deaths, having lived predetermined fates.

    Okay, I understand this much.

But he couldn’t comprehend why these dead people were in this unknown space.

“Let’s say everything you’re saying is true. Then where is this place, and how can you, who were dead, appear before me?”

“Good question. I should introduce myself properly.”

The man before Radios seemed satisfied with his question, and while forming a Twilight Sword, he began to speak.

“Let me introduce myself first. Unlike the others, I have a stronger sense of self.”

    “Self?”

“I am Larga D’Wheil, possessing the Divine Order of the God Sword.”

As Larga swung his Twilight Sword, a distant mountain ridge was cleanly cut and completely annihilated.

Radios felt a sense of awe at the sight.

With just a swing of his sword, he had annihilated all the natural components.

Radios might be capable of shattering a mountain.

But it wasn’t easy to annihilate the fundamental energy that could be defined as nature, existing within the mountain.

Even using the Divine Order of Judgment, he could at most control the energy of the surrounding area.

    Yet Larga did it effortlessly.

Radios had considered himself quite powerful, but seeing Larga made him feel somewhat intimidated.

Based on the circumstances, it would be reasonable to assume Larga was the strongest.

For someone who introduced himself as Radios Magnum because he didn’t know his name, he alone uniquely knew his identity.

“So what do you want to do?”

“It’s simple. I plan to imbue you with the power and wishes of about 100 Radios Magnums, including myself.”

    “Power and wishes?”

“This explanation will be lengthy, so let’s move somewhere else for a moment.”

As Larga gestured, the surrounding scenery instantly changed, transforming into a space where they could talk privately.

“Honestly, I don’t think you’ve fully understood what I’ve been saying so far.”

“From what I roughly understand… you and the others I just met are those who bore my fate in worlds created by Azathoth and Chaos?”

“If you know that, you understand half of it. What I’m about to tell you concerns the soul.”

    “Soul?”

“What do you think defines a soul?”

    Soul.

A kind of life principle distinct from the mind.

Most Earthlings, referred to as otherworlders, don’t believe in the hypothesis of souls.

Not even knowing if an afterlife exists, they tend to think that physical death might mean eternal death.

But Kadinant was a religious society that worshipped gods, and they already knew about the existence of the Underworld.

When one dies, the soul leaves the body and falls into the Underworld to live an infinite life or be reincarnated.

    That’s what was believed, so.

Naturally, Radios also thought that souls existed and were separate from the physical body.

When he explained this view to Larga, the man shook his head and carefully began to speak.

    “Half right, half wrong.”

    “Huh?”

“Souls do exist. But it’s not accurate to say that souls from Kadinant fall into the Underworld after death. What goes to the Underworld isn’t the soul, but the remnants left after death in the physical body.”

    “Remnants?”

    I don’t understand what he’s been saying.

A person dies, becomes a soul, and falls into the Underworld.

This was common sense to Radios, so it was difficult to understand Larga’s words.

Recognizing this, Larga explained the concept first instead of asking questions.

“The concept of souls was created by Azathoth and Chaos.”

    “?”

“No matter how much they possess Ascended Order, it’s not easy for them to continuously create new life forms.”

    “…Don’t tell me?!”

“You seem to have guessed it.”

Continuously creating new life forms isn’t easy.

But they always create new worlds and new life forms when their bets end.

Let’s say they can create new worlds as they wish. After all, it’s easier than creating life forms.

    Here’s the question.

Is it better to erase everything from already vanished life forms and recycle them?

Or is it easier to discard them and create life forms from scratch?

Obviously, recycling would be more efficient in every aspect.

“What you referred to as ‘me’…”

It wasn’t parallel world theory, but because they were the same soul.

Radios seemed to have just realized the truth and was shocked.

Larga drove the point home to the shocked Radios.

“It’s as you suspect, Radios Magnum. You are the 101st reincarnation of a person named Larga D’Wheil.”
