Ch.0Prologue: I Criticized a Nationalistic Light Novel and Got Possessed

# [Review Contest] The author seems like a crazy nationalist bastard lol

I’m writing something random for the review contest, but this author’s nationalism is way too extreme.

Here’s the basic concept of the world this guy created:

The setting is that after a meteor hit Earth in 2000, people with special abilities started appearing.

But get this – these powers only manifest in children born after 2000?

So each country creates academies for these powered individuals, and this novel is set in Korea’s special ability academy called ‘Sejong Academy.’

The name itself reeks of nationalism, and the place is filled with female characters from all over the world lol

Apparently Korea is a superpower in terms of special ability users lol

If it were me, I would’ve gotten US citizenship and fled as soon as my powers manifested, but these kids with powers in Korea choose to stay in this hellish peninsula.

Are other countries worse than Korea?

The author, probably worried about criticism for this setup, added a buff to Sejong Island.

If you develop your abilities on Sejong Island, you can achieve in 1 year what would take 10 years in other countries.

No other country has anything like this, only Korea.

I don’t know if that’s actually true yet, but the author will probably quit writing before we get that far lol

Moreover, the protagonist is a pure native Korean guy, and he’s an alpha male who hooks up with all the female characters in his class, other classes, and throughout the academy.

I’m absolutely not writing this review to criticize the work.

It’s just a novel with a nationalist background mixed with academy harem elements.

What’s interesting is that there’s a villain organization called ‘The Syndicate,’ and their leader is cute.

I’m not sure if they’re a secret organization aiming for world domination or just a playgroup pretending to be villains, but judging by their actions, they’re definitely a group of lunatics.

I suspect she’s a character created to eventually end up under the protagonist saying “Korean men’s small peppers are so spicy and amazing!”

Oh, and there’s this executive in the evil organization who keeps getting screwed over, and he’s really pitiful.

The childhood friend he likes (a female class president) becomes part of the protagonist’s harem, his boss (a female executive in the evil organization) is part of the protagonist’s harem, and later the leader will probably join the protagonist’s harem too lol

I was planning to write 5700 characters, but my time is too valuable for that, so I’ll stop here lol
