Chapter Index

    Beginner Dad.

The man I presumed to be my father, who I had seen occasionally at first, seemed to have decided to focus on me and began to appear frequently.

When I first breastfed, I wondered if this was my mother, but it didn’t take long for me to realize the truth.

I don’t remember seeing the mesmerizing young and beautiful woman I saw in the wedding photos inside the house.

The guy called Dad in this body also looks like a gisaeng brother.

    “Siyoon~”

    “…..”

When I look at him with an expressionless face, the man starts crying.

“Why is my daughter so angry?”

As I struggled to move and tried to turn it over for the first time, the man, with an expression full of anticipation, took out a square object that appeared to be a camera with a case with an animal picture attached.

    ‘What year is it now…?’

What is certain is that this is the future.

The division was formed in 2004, so at least it is not 2004.

Lying on a bed that looks like an iron bar, I can’t see the world even if I want to.

As I looked at the ceiling again, assessing the size of the room, a man put down a square object.

    “I’m not crying… what’s the problem…?”

Alone, the young male began pounding on a square object.

A man who starts talking while looking at me,

    “Uh, Mom Si-yoon didn’t cry so…”

    ‘Ah… I guess my father is a poor person…’

I looked at my ears and saw that they were wearing something.

    “If mom… stops working…”

A man removes something from his ear as if he heard a noise.

It looked like the front of a golf club, but it had what looked like silicone attached to the end.

The man started talking while putting the object in his ear again, but eventually started speaking with a straight face.

    “What…? You really meant it…?”

Then, after looking at me, he walked out of the room.

It sounded quiet due to the soundproofing, but I knew he was very angry.

    “… I won’t contact you. Don’t contact your mom either. Never again…”

And tears welled up in the eyes of the man who looked at me with sad eyes.

“I’m sorry for being a bad dad… daughter.”

My dad keeps smiling and turning me around, wondering what he’s trying to get me to do.

    ‘It’s fucking hard, really.’

However, perhaps because his large muscles had developed, he was now able to turn over easily.

I had to sweat a little at first.

    “Si-yoon is great!”

And because of the man trying to wash me, I became aware of reality the first time I saw my naked body in the mirror.

    My chromosomes were (X,

    ‘Ah… no… Shivaal…’

A man looking at me with a smile.

“Why is my daughter so listless?”

‘If I take off your pepper now, you’ll feel lethargic like me, right?’

“Is this the perspective of a parent…? My daughter is so pretty…?”

Today, when I headed to the bathroom to wash up, I thought to myself that this is a certain future, and that maybe my father is extremely rich.

It’s hard to say that this house is a house for a young man to use alone… because it’s incredibly spacious.

And I learned why babies can’t talk.

My throat is so soft that I can’t make any sound.

If you try to speak with force, all that comes out is ‘kaya’.

I’d rather bite my tongue and search.

‘Mr. Ha… he has no teeth.’

She touched her soft gums with her tongue and surrendered herself to the man’s hands.

    “Do you like my daughter~?”

    ‘I’m going crazy… really… haha…’

I admit it. This man is dedicating everything in his life to me.

I try not to fall away from my side even for a minute and a second.

I will admit it. This is what I couldn’t give to my subordinates, this is my father’s heart, this is family.

So… I decided to match it.

    Let’s call him Newbie Dad.

Because without me, this new father will likely make extreme choices.

I had forgotten that I could speak, and then I heard the voice of my new father.

“Why is my daughter so slow to speak?”

    Dad begins to worry alone.

“I read books to you every day… but you don’t babble much…”

    “dad?”

    “!!!!!”

Would it have been a problem if I spoke with too precise pronunciation?

Or, was he surprised that his daughter, who wasn’t even babbling, called him?

Dad quickly approached me with an expression that was almost like he was going to burst out of excitement.

“Si-yoon? My… who am I?! Again! Just once!”

    “Ah… Dad.”

    “Huhhh!!!!”

This new dad always tries to faint at my every move.

‘Hey… don’t do that, if you die, I won’t be able to beat you even if I take you out, man!!!’

Because I’m still at an age where I can’t stand up…

That day, I encountered people who were believed to be my grandmother and grandfather.

    “Si-yoon~ Grandma, Grandma~”

    “…..”

Since I had listened to my father’s phone conversations, I felt like I could understand the expression he was looking at his mother.

They laid me down and left the room to talk. I could hear the conversation because the door was open.

“…Are you not planning on going to work?”

“I have enough money to raise Si-yoon.”

“In this day and age, is it really possible to just raise money?”

“Once Siyoon starts going to daycare, you can start again then.”

After listening to the conversation, I heard that they didn’t have enough money to raise me, and I realized that this spacious house was an ordinary person’s house.

    ‘Fuck… wasn’t he a gold spoon?’

As time passed and I turned 3, my new father looked at me and said.

    “Siyoon, is TV fun?”

I was currently watching a movie rated for ages 15 and older.

    “Concentrate, don’t talk to me.”

    “…..”

When my new father was drooping like a dead puppy, I sighed and looked at him.

“You’re not going to read a fairy tale, are you?”

Due to my underdeveloped mouth, my pronunciation was slurred, but my new father noticed me.

“Hmm… This is 15 years old, Siyun is now 3 years old? Shall we watch a fun Poruru?”

“If you’re having fun, look at your dad.”

    “…..”

“I haven’t seen my dad for a long time either.”

    “…..”

At one time, my new father, who was surprised that I could think and speak accurately, began to think of me as a genius…

I have absolutely no intention of joining in with that.

What is more important than that is that I am currently experiencing an amazing experience.

In the past, I couldn’t even remember what I ate two days ago, but now all my memories from life are in my head.

When I think about the past, I remember it as vividly as if it happened yesterday.

I remembered everything I saw once, as if I was taking a photo, or rather, playing a video.

    “Si-yoon, shall we eat?”

    “No. I have to pee.”

My new father immediately responded to my words like a slave, carrying me and making me sit in the bathroom.

    “get out.”

    “huh…”

Suddenly, I became curious about my new father’s job.

Watching him cook, he seems to be a chef.

“Do you want to do it too, Siyun?”

    “bothered.”

    “Yeah…yeah.”

I am a new father who was once surprised by my memory.

To express his boredom, he was a new father who was at a loss for words as he recited a storybook he had read just once.

“Is my daughter this pretty only in her father’s eyes?”

    That won’t be it.

Every time I look in the mirror, I feel it myself.

I haven’t seen many young children, but I think they are incomparably prettier than any children I’ve ever seen.

“No, even when I look at myself, I look pretty.”

    “right?”

Seeing him cutting while focusing on me, it seems clear that the new father’s occupation is a chef.

    “dad.”

“Huh? Siyoon, why did you call your dad?”

“Would you like me to drop you off to watch TV?”

Perhaps because he wanted me to watch him cook, he made me sit on a chair that I couldn’t get down on by myself.

    “Uh… yes…“

I became aware of the present while watching TV.

Exactly 23 years have passed since I died.

The new father’s name was Kim Ji-ho, and he seemed like a very capable person.

When I first looked out the window, I was scared and fell backwards.

Our house is located at a huge height, so the people on the ground looked like the size of ants.

‘Am I really a gold digger?’

The apartment boasted an enormous height, and it seemed taller than the tallest building I knew.

When I kicked my butt, my newbie dad spotted me from afar and ran over in surprise.

Now it’s blocked so people can’t go to the window.

I think you have a fear of heights.

Even when I said I wanted to look out the window, my new father wouldn’t let me get close.

I was more stubborn than I thought, and I was stubborn no matter what I did when I thought I couldn’t do it.

As I was fiddling with the remote control, he was looking at me with sparkling eyes.

    “why.”

“Because our Siyoon is so pretty~”

    “Don’t look worn out.”

The new father looked at me and said softly.

    “… Shall we eat?”

I turned off the TV and spread my arms, and my dad smiled and sat me down in the chair.

    “delicious?”

“I haven’t put it in my mouth yet.”

As I spooned, my newbie dad stared intently.

“It’s burdensome, so I’ll eat and tell you.”

    “huh!”

Just then the bell rang and the grandmother came to visit.

A new father whose expression begins to change.

I couldn’t even get down to the chair, so I nodded in greeting instead.

    “Oh my~ Siyun was eating?”

I nodded roughly and ate the rice my newbie dad made.

Although the side dishes are bland, they are more delicious than you might expect.

“Who do you resemble to be so arrogant? It’s my grandchild Chado~”

    “It’s a burden, don’t look.”

    “…..”

A grandmother who is embarrassed by her perfect command of language.

    “Aren’t you a genius?”

Dad spoke with a different expression than the one he had shown me so far.

    “Why did you come?”

“What reason would there be for my son to come home?”

    “Please speak up next time.”

    “Oh my? Look at him?”

“Siyoon speaks for me. I feel burdened.”

“… Are you still upset about that?”

Dad took one look at me and closed his mouth.

    “Let’s go now.”

The grandmother’s expression showed regret and loneliness.

    “…..”

The grandmother got up and headed outside, leaving behind the bag containing the food.

    “Siyoon~ I’m going to grandma~”

I gave a signal to my dad to get off, and he picked me up and lowered me to the floor.

He walked to the front door, hugged his grandmother, and said,

    “Goodbye~”

    “huh!”

    “Come again next time.”

    “Wow, it’s pretty~”

The new father looked at the food that the grandmother had packed in silence, then hid and wiped away tears.
