8 – Mountain Village
by Afuhfuihgs
Polia was from Jemili Village.
It was a neighboring village to Stillo Village.
It was the first village to be occupied before Stillo Village was attacked, and Polia was a hostage and plaything of that village.
She was the prettiest in the village, so the village men were always after her, but bandits appeared and ruined and humiliated her life.
Two other women kidnapped from other villages were in the same situation.
The bandits gathered beauties from each village and used them as playthings to satisfy their desires.
Polia, Leila, and Molly’s animosity towards the bandits was like that of enemies who killed their parents. They wanted to kill the main culprits who ruined their lives.
And then the opportunity came.
Even though Amel-nim was drunk,
“Forward. We’re moving forward!!”
Although she was heading in a somewhat absurd direction,
‘I can kill them.’
Polia killed the Demon beast.
She looked at the huge beast in front of her, panting. The powerful Demon beast, which would have caused near-total annihilation if the Self-defense force in the village had tried to catch it, was killed by her own hands.
Although she had cooperated with Leila and Molly, the three of them had managed to catch the Demon beast.
The sensation she felt after cutting off the Demon beast’s neck spread from her fingertips to her whole body, filling her with a sense of omnipotence and confidence that she could do anything.
‘Sword Aura’ raised the young sword high.
Sword Aura.
She had used Sword Aura.
She had manifested the Sword Aura, which symbolized strength in the village, with her own hands!
She had only moved her body as Amel-nim guided her, but she never thought this would be possible! Polia was more excited than she had ever been in her life.
“I did it!!”
“We caught it!”
“Wow!!”
Long live Amel-nim!
Polia hugged Leila and Molly.
The fight with the Demon beast.
They celebrated their victory.
The men stood far away, holding only swords, their shoulders drooping. There were also people from Stillo Village following Amel, but they only occasionally fought the Demon beast’s subordinate Monsters.
Without the Demon beast, the three women, including Polia, had taken care of almost all of the Monsters.
“Hyaat…!”
At that moment, jumping and rejoicing.
Her body froze.
She was surprised by the tingling sensation like static Electricity. She turned her head and saw Amel smiling contentedly as she watched them rejoice.
“You’re that happy?”
“Yes…!”
“Let’s go back to the village like this…!”
“But why is my body…”
Her body was being controlled by Amel.
She couldn’t move.
Being controlled by Amel was reassuring, but on the other hand, there was a fear of being manipulated from the inside of her body by someone else.
The fear of not knowing what would happen to her.
A different kind of fear than the helplessness and fear of being bound by shackles ran through their bodies, shaking them subtly.
But still, what was this?
This feeling.
Being treated as a Possession by such a great and beautiful person.
A strange feeling lingered.
It wasn’t bad.
It was scary, but,
Rather…
‘I’m excited.’
What are you going to do for us this time using us…!
Amel crossed her arms and pushed out her chest.
She tilted her body from side to side with a drunken face.
“You can’t be this happy with just this. There’s still so much to enjoy. What should we catch next? What should we do? What should we do?”
Amel thought hard.
Soon, she opened her closed eyes.
Leki whispered in her ear.
“Ah, that’s right.”
She remembered something she had forgotten.
“You said you wanted to save the village?”
“””Yes!!”””
“Leki.”
Keila wasn’t there.
She stayed in the village.
To take care of the people left in the village.
So she called Leki, who had accompanied her.
“Yes.”
“Where’s the nearest village from here?”
“Um…”
As Leki looked around, Polia gestured and pointed in a direction.
“It’s that way.”
“Okay. Then let’s move forward in that direction.”
Polia’s body was released from its restraints.
She could move again.
But it was limited.
If she headed in the direction Amel suggested, she was free to do whatever she wanted.
If she delayed or tried to stay, her body would freeze, but if she headed in the direction she was told, she was guaranteed free activity.
She was forcibly prevented from doing anything Amel told her not to do, and she had to consciously act as she wished.
That’s why she could be excited about catching the Demon beast.
She could be happy about manifesting Sword Aura.
Because it felt like she had done it with her own Strength.
Polia recalled the direction Amel had told her with Electricity. She felt like she could use Sword Aura now even without Amel’s help.
The Electricity that surrounded her body was different depending on the situation, but it was loose now.
There was no ‘instruction’ that tightened her up like when she was fighting the Demon beast and even caused Sword Aura,
But Polia, who remembered that instruction, could now create Sword Aura without instruction.
‘Am I a genius?’
That thought was quickly dismissed.
Leila and Molly could do it too.
This must be Amel-nim.
‘Amazing.’
The three of them thought the same thing.
They encountered Goblins, Orcs, and Ogres, but they defeated them all.
Polia trembled with the thrill of victory. When she met the eyes of the two who were enjoying the same joy, she burst into a hearty laugh that she had forgotten for a while.
‘Amazing, amazing, amazing!!’
Polia thought as she cut down an Orc.
‘Someone like that is going to help us.’
Leila thought as she split a Goblin’s head.
‘I’m Amel-nim’s. I want to be..!’
Molly thought as she raised her sword above the head of a collapsing Ogre.
Amel said.
Instead of helping them, she would use them as her puppets. She would do as she pleased. It was a drunken remark, but it was no different from becoming her subordinates.
It was more like a Possession than a subordinate, but far from being unpleasant, it was like saying that she would wield them directly from a closer place, tickling the area around her heart.
Now that they had become tools used directly by Amel.
Their confidence was like a flame.
Straight to Polia’s village.
They met many Monsters on the way.
As befitting the night, many Monsters appeared fiercely and attacked, but,
Polia’s sword.
Leila’s axe.
Molly’s fist.
Before they knew it, they had each taken up weapons of their choice and annihilated the Monsters.
The expression of anger that had been pent up in their hearts. They put the shadow of bandits on the Monsters and crushed and smashed them as violently as possible.
Amel, who was watching, was satisfied with the sincerity that emanated from them.
‘People are always coolest when they’re sincere.’
The villagers who were watching looked at the three of them with envy and fear as they gradually changed.
Every time they followed the place where they had massacred the Monsters and left the corpses, their impression of the three of them changed from pitiful beauties to threatening figures who should not be messed with.
People from the same background looked at the changing women and said,
“That’s not the Polia I knew.”
“Leila would never be that violent.”
“Molly… that quiet girl…”
It’s all because of the bandits.
Strong animosity dominated them.
Polia.
“Hryaat!!!!!!”
She stabbed her sword into the Orc Chieftain’s chest and pushed him all the way to the tree behind him.
The Orc Chieftain, even with his heart pierced, stubbornly grabbed Polia’s face and sword. The sword was caught in the Orc Chieftain’s hand and stuck deep into the tree, unmoving.
Click.
She broke the sword,
And raised the broken sword to Cut.
Before the Orc Chieftain could crush her head, the broken sword briefly emitted Sword Aura and Cut off the Orc Chieftain’s face and head.
Polia was freed from the pressure on her head and moved away from the Orc Chieftain’s arms, plopping down on her butt.
“Ugh…”
The Orc Chieftain was strong, but above all, he was tenacious.
Well, he wouldn’t have become a Chieftain for no reason.
It must have hurt a lot when his heart was pierced, but he endured it and even counterattacked…
“Ugh…”
Polia touched her head, which had been grabbed by the Orc Chieftain.
It hurts.
When she touched her head with her hand, it sank in slightly.
As fear gripped her, a soft touch was gently placed on her head.
“Good job.”
“Amel-nim…”
Warm Light magic of recovery.
The pain subsided.
But now she felt Amel’s hand stroking her head. The touch was electrifying.
Electricity flowed from the crown of her head to her spine, coursing through every corner of her body like a living creature, and she instinctively realized that she would die if she made the slightest mistake, and she shuddered every time she felt the flow of Electricity.
Even though she could kill her with the slightest movement, she didn’t kill her but embraced her, so fear, relief, and respect became as sweet as chocolate.
Tingle.
‘Ah, I think I’m going to get addicted…’
Hueeeng…
Polia liked it like a dog being petted by its owner while being touched.
Leila and Molly, who were watching the scene, also stood by her side and subtly expected Amel’s touch.
Seeing this, Amel stroked their heads as well.
Stroking them,
“Haa~am.”
She yawned.
Amel’s languid face looked like she was about to fall asleep.
“I’m sleepy. Let’s finish this quickly.”
“””Yes!”””
The village was right in front of them.
Late at night.
The bandits on guard were talking with their heads turned away from the dark forest.
They had a villager on surveillance, so they just had to watch to make sure the villager didn’t act up.
There were hardly any men left in the village, and even if there were, they were just disabled guys.
They had set up a village woman as a surveillance officer.
The bandits fondled the village woman’s chest and slapped her butt, then sat down on a chair in the watchtower with alcohol in their hands.
“Khehehe. You guys are so pitiful. If the Village Chief hadn’t attacked us, thinking he could defeat us, things wouldn’t have turned out this way.”
“It’s because they had the wrong Village Chief, how is it their fault?”
“We’re lucky to have met a good boss. Life is all about luck. Right?”
Kahaha.
Hwahaha.
“….”
The bandits’ ridicule.
The village woman endured their ridicule, taunts, and sexual harassment while standing guard.
The Barrier surrounding the village.
The watchtower built on the corner of the Barrier.
The village woman, who was scanning the forest with Light magic from the watchtower, soon discovered a human figure in the forest.
She wasn’t loyal to the bandits, but if a Monster came down to the village, it wasn’t just the bandits’ problem, so she volunteered out of a sense of duty to protect the village instead of the lazy bandits.
But as the bandits harassed the women and casually hit the children as toys, and people died almost every day.
Even that sense of duty was gradually wearing away.
Originally, she should have informed them immediately, but,
Even after seeing the human figure, she didn’t immediately inform the bandits.
If she told them, the bandits might come and harass her or rape her. It was better to let them fall asleep while they were sleepy.
But what was that?
That was…
While watching.
Her eyes widened.
‘…Polia?!’
It was a village woman who had been dragged away by the bandits.
She had been dragged away because she was the prettiest in the village, and she thought she would never see her again,
Why was she appearing in the forest?
And alone.
‘Monster?’
There were many Monsters that charmed people, but since she appeared in Polia’s form, she couldn’t tell the bandits that a Monster had appeared.
She was getting closer and closer.
As she got closer, something was strange.
She was holding a sword in her hand.
The sword was stained with Blood.
She waved her hand with a friendly face and put her index finger to her lips, gesturing to be quiet.
And when she gestured as if calling someone from behind, people rushed out. The women were at the front, each carrying weapons.
It was dark, so she couldn’t see their faces well, but she didn’t shine Light magic directly on them.
If she did, the bandits somewhere nearby might see them.
Many people with weapons rushed out behind the women, and when she saw them, she instinctively felt her face brighten.
It was then.
Polia jumped up,
And grabbed the railing of the watchtower.
Polia jumped up this high? She was slow to understand the sudden situation.
“Uh…?”
“Dona, hello. I came to save you.”
Polia smiled more softly than when she was living peacefully in the village.
The bandits were startled by her words and grabbed their weapons and came out, but Polia jumped over the railing and struck down with her sword.
A bandit died,
And Polia swung her sword again.
There were two bandits,
And they both died in an instant.
Dona stared at the situation Polia had caused with a dazed face, her mouth open.
Polia slapped her on the cheek.
“Wake up.”
“Po, is that really Polia?”
“Of course. I’m the Polia you sold out to the bandits in order to save the remaining men in the village. Does it hurt?”
Polia caressed Dona’s cheek, which she had slapped.
“It was hurt.”
“Sorry…”
“It’s okay. If you’re going to apologize, you have to show it with your actions. From now on, you’re my puppet.”
“…Huh? Puppet?”
“Yeah, so stop complaining and go open the gate. A very reliable person who saved us is going to save our village.”
They could have broken down the Barrier and entered, but they didn’t bother.
One of the reasons why the mountain village could exist was thanks to the Barrier that protected it from Monsters, and if they broke the Barrier, the Barrier would also be destroyed.
They had to go to the next village right away, so they couldn’t leave the village defenseless.
Polia was moved by Amel’s kindness.
Of course, they could have jumped over the Barrier, but it wasn’t fitting for Amel-nim to deal with the weak bandits, and according to Amel-nim, it was like using a butcher’s knife to kill a chicken for them to deal with them.
The people of Stillo Village had come to help, so they had to give them a chance to play an active role.
Polia felt like she was being treated specially by Amel, and she was thrilled.
Kuururung.
The village gate opened.
