69 – Cigarettes (5)

Arriving at the administration office, Hayoon didn’t go straight in but instead peered inside through the window in the door.
Thankfully, Mr. Choi had already taken Shin Sohyun somewhere, as the only person inside was Mr. Park, who was staring at the computer with a blank face and his chin propped on his hand.
Confirming this, Hayoon opened the door and said,
Creak-
“Mr. Park.”
“Hmm? Oh, Hayoon, you’re here? Come here.”
As soon as he saw her, Mr. Park’s face bloomed with a smile, as if he had never been expressionless, and he patted his lap, saying.
Hayoon grimaced but obediently went over and sat on his lap. Then, she immediately muttered in an annoyed voice.
“Ugh, get that thing touching my butt out of the way.”
The hard erection pressing against her buttocks through her pants kept bothering her. Mr. Park chuckled at the reaction and gently wrapped his arms around Hayoon’s waist, then said.
“More importantly, look at this.”
“What is it?”
“There was a guy who escaped from another training center around the time you arrived. They caught him today.”
What he was looking at was the intranet that employees working at the training center could use. The screen showed a picture of an infected person with a rather gruesome appearance.
Broken fingers were commonplace, and the festering skin all over his body suggested he had been branded with something hot. It seemed he had been gang-raped beforehand, as his whole body was covered in semen.
“He’s an idiot. If you’re going to run away, you shouldn’t get caught.”
“Right?”
But Hayoon didn’t feel sympathy or horror at the sight.
Although he had become an infected, she was also a teacher. Besides, if he hadn’t escaped, he wouldn’t have had to go through that, so it was irrelevant to her.
So, whenever she saw the end of these escapees, she only felt contempt. If you were going to get caught anyway, why bother making things harder for yourself? If you don’t have the ability to escape abroad, there’s no point in running away.
Hayoon, thinking of someone who was planning to escape soon, sighed and said.
“A cigarette, you still have one saved, right?”
“Why, you want to smoke? I don’t know if you can.”
His words implied whether she could keep her promise to the VIP, but Hayoon snapped.
“Don’t say pointless things and give me one.”
“Always so temperamental.”
Mr. Park still didn’t lose his smile as he handed over a cigarette. He even showed the kindness of lighting it for her.
As she put the cigarette in her mouth and took a deep breath, she felt the smoke filling her lungs.
“Haa…”
She still wasn’t used to cigarettes, and her head was ringing, but she liked the sensation.
In the old days, she had to smoke several cigarettes in a row to get this feeling, but now she could feel it with just one puff.
As she puffed out smoke and held the cigarette in her mouth, Hayoon suddenly opened her mouth as if she had remembered something.
“Come to think of it, I had something to tell you, Mr. Park.”
“You have something to tell me? That’s a surprise.”
“You know Shin Sohyun? That girl with glasses.”
“I know her. She’s the one Jin Siwon hangs out with. Come to think of it, it’s been a while since I did it with Jin Siwon. Maybe I’ll do it with her tomorrow.”
Is the spark flying that way? Hayoon chuckled, and Mr. Park asked back.
“So, what about Shin Sohyun?”
“It’s nothing much, but she’s been talking badly about you.”
“Really?”
“What’s with that lukewarm reaction?”
“Well, it’s only natural that the trainees don’t like me.”
It was natural. There was no way a trainee would like a teacher in the first place. They use violence, rape mercilessly, and so on. Even if Mr. Park was oblivious, he knew that much.
“So, what do you dislike about Shin Sohyun?”
More than that, what Mr. Park was curious about was Hayoon’s motive for saying that.
Even if Shin Sohyun had spoken ill of him, Hayoon wasn’t the type to tell him that. They weren’t that close even when they were teachers.
Even as a teacher and trainee, they were still talking to each other comfortably, but that was only because Mr. Park wasn’t the type to distinguish between superiors and subordinates, not because the two were close.
So, Hayoon saying that was practically the same as trying to screw over Shin Sohyun.
Whatever the motive behind her words, Mr. Park had heard that she had spoken ill of him, so he was planning to use that as an excuse to harass her.
Hayoon stubbed out the cigarette in the ashtray and said nonchalantly.
“It’s not like she did anything wrong, but you know she’s from a human rights organization, right?”
“Ah, come to think of it, you didn’t like human rights organizations, did you?”
“Well, something like that.”
Hayoon hated them because if human rights organizations were rampant and their claims were really accepted, she would lose her job and her fun. The fact that her taxes were flowing to them in the name of subsidies for civic groups also contributed to her hatred.
“Let’s deal with Shin Sohyun later, shall we start?”
Perhaps because he remembered that, Mr. Park didn’t say anything more and turned off the intranet he was looking at, then said.
“You’re not going to do it here, are you?”
“Then where should we go? I don’t really have a place in mind.”
“Mr. Park, you should make a teacher’s room in an empty classroom like the other teachers.”
Mr. Choi was using the classroom where he taught sex education as his teacher’s room, and Mr. Gan was using the infirmary. Mr. Park was the only one who didn’t use a teacher’s room.
In fact, to put it more bluntly, it could be said that it was all Mr. Park’s fault that they made a teacher’s room. He didn’t bother going anywhere else and kept calling the duty officer to the administration office to have sex, so the other teachers were sick of it and avoided him.
That was the case with Ha Seungjin in the past as well. Mr. Park scratched his head as Hayoon said that with an absurd look on her face.
“Even if you tell me to make a teacher’s room… isn’t it nice here? Cozy, quiet… and most of all, you can see everything from here.”
“See everything? What are you…”
Hayoon was about to retort to the nonsense in front of her, but she stopped and closed her mouth as she followed Mr. Park’s gaze, which was looking somewhere.
Through the wide window that was the only one that showed the outside, she could see the barbed wire fence with a hole in it. It was the very place she had told Shin Sohyun was a way to escape.
Could he know? That Shin Sohyun was trying to escape? For a moment, she thought that, but Hayoon shook her head.
No matter how many CCTVs were installed everywhere, they couldn’t hear voices. It wasn’t like there were voice recorders installed…
‘…Wait, CCTV?’
Why didn’t I think of that? Hayoon sighed as she looked at the monitor where the screen had changed after the intranet was turned off.
It was only natural that there were many CCTVs in the training center. It was to monitor the trainees, but also to catch anyone coming in from the outside. After all, the training center was an important place classified as a national facility.
And those CCTVs would probably have captured Shin Sohyun’s figure several times as she searched for a safe way out. Her glancing at the cameras, thinking about where the blind spots were, and looking for secluded places.
And Mr. Park would have been watching all of that without missing a thing.
What was he thinking when he saw that? He probably didn’t think she was exploring the training center. He was probably thinking that she was looking for an escape route, 100% of the time.
Even though Mr. Park seemed like a beast crazy for sex, he was once a special forces non-commissioned officer in the military.
His eyesight was better than most people, if not better, it would never be worse.
“…Did you know? About Shin Sohyun.”
“I knew she was looking for a way to escape. As soon as she entered the training center, she was looking around the training center as if she was looking around the house she had just moved into, how could I not know?”
Mr. Park shrugged and answered. As Hayoon clicked her tongue, he continued.
“Actually, I didn’t expect her to escape until… Shin Sohyun didn’t come near the administration office.”
Well, it was a place where the teachers were, so unless she was very brave, she wouldn’t even think of looking around. Hayoon thought so, then looked at Mr. Park with a puzzled face.
“Wait, you didn’t expect? So you know now?”
“Well, you taught Shin Sohyun the way, so I thought she would escape soon.”
“…How did you know that?”
“How would I know? If you’re shouting so loudly while passing by the shower room, I can’t help but know.”
Was it there? As Hayoon clicked her tongue, Mr. Park smiled and said.
“But it’s surprising? I never thought you would say that to protect Shin Sohyun.”
“I didn’t say it to protect her. I had no choice because of the deal.”
“Well, let’s just say that.”
“So, what’s going to happen to Shin Sohyun now?”
“Mr. Choi will give her a proper education for a few days. So that she won’t think of leaving the training center rashly.”
If that was the case, then nothing could be better. In the first place, the reason she told Mr. Park the false rumors about Shin Sohyun was to prevent her from having a chance to escape outside the training center.
“More than that, let’s stop talking about Shin Sohyun, we have something to do, right?”
“Don’t rush me. I was going to do it anyway.”
Hayoon, who answered irritably to Mr. Park’s words, sighed. It seemed that Shin Sohyun’s matter was settled, so it was her turn to do her job.
“Take out your dick.”
I’ll finish it quickly. Hayoon said to Mr. Park with a confident face.
