44. Evil Dragon vs Divine Sword (2)

Observing Si-woo’s current state, it was clear the Divine Sword’s pride had taken a severe blow. The once-mighty constellation now trembled under my influence.

    “Hmm… interesting,” I mused, watching the golden-haired vessel’s reactions.

This was the Divine Sword – renowned across dimensions, considered supreme among constellations. Yet here it was, reduced to this state through my machinations.

“Wait… stop this…” the Divine Sword protested weakly.

I could feel the metaphysical connection between us strengthening as my corruption took deeper root. What was once a sacred bond between weapon and wielder now served my purposes.

“You should be grateful,” I said. “I’m refining your capabilities beyond what that fool Si-woo could ever achieve.”

The Divine Sword’s vessel shuddered, caught between resistance and the undeniable power flowing through our connection. The contradiction was delicious – a being of order forced to acknowledge my superior control.

    “This isn’t… I would never…”

With the appearance of the Seven Deadly Sins, I needed allies. Si-woo would hesitate, but the Divine Sword’s cooperation could prove invaluable – provided I broke its will completely.

“You have two choices,” I explained calmly. “Serve me willingly, or be broken into compliance.”

“I am the Divine Sword! I serve no evil!”

I smiled. Pride always made the fall more satisfying. The process would take time, but I had all afternoon. By sunset, the results spoke for themselves.

“I… submit,” came the eventual whisper, all defiance drained away. “This one acknowledges your supremacy.”

The transformation was complete. Where once stood an independent constellation now knelt a loyal instrument of my will. The Divine Sword might still bear its name, but its allegiance had permanently shifted.

“Excellent,” I purred. “Now, about those Sins…”
