    4 – Otherworld Invasion

    The Aein of Transvia.

They were born looters, beings who sustained their lives by taking from others.

In every moment they lived and breathed, they were devoted to their tribe and family, but the moment they discovered a village peacefully farming, they turned into cruel beasts, plundering everything, including property and lives.

    They said:

“Do you, softened by peace, you weaklings who have never even held a sharp sword, know the meaning of what you protect? It is only natural that you are robbed of everything by us because you are weak.”

An Aein deprived a poet of his family, leaving him hanging like a doll in the village with severed limbs. Looking at those miserable, starving creatures, he said:

“You will become like this too.”

The Aein of Transvia laughed at him.

There are no beings stronger than us in this world.

They looted because they were confident in their strength, and they looted to survive.

So, no matter what curses a poet in a back room throws at them, it is just an empty echo, and even if those stronger than them one day plunder and loot them, it is fine.

Because that alone proves that it is right for the strong to plunder.

Well, in reality, the Aein had been walking their own path of prosperity and glory.

Battles and fights were natural for warriors.

If they won in battles and fights, it was a virtue for the victors to monopolize and plunder everything.

The sky of Transvia was heavy and gloomy that day.

No one knew what was going to happen.

The warrior village was as lively as ever, and the warriors were immersed in their daily training.

News spread that the plan to plunder Earth was progressing smoothly, filling the residents with hope that their kingdom would become prosperous again.

Then, a strange woman walked into the village entrance.

She was wearing a black suit, and her black hair fluttered slightly in the wind.

Her purple eyes, whose depths could not be fathomed, signaled that she was not a mere visitor.

The devilish wings draped behind her back made it even clearer that her appearance did not belong in this world.

The warriors of the village immediately raised their weapons and watched her, but a strange energy had already begun to settle in their eyes.

A subtle sensation transmitted from their fingertips, and the excitement and anxiety pounding in their hearts simultaneously shook their consciousness.

Reason quickly crumbled, and only instinct remained, clouding their judgment.

    “A, a god…dess?”

One of the young warriors of the village muttered with a bewildered face.

But before he could even get an answer, his fingertips were trembling. Fear and attraction towards the woman before him were intricately intertwined.

The sound of his heart beating rapidly echoed in his ears.

As soon as he exhaled, something welled up from deep within his chest. It wasn’t pain, but the sensation was unbearably intense.

Jaehee slowly moved towards the center of the village.

Each of her steps made a heavy sound as if splitting the earth.

The villagers watched her, unable to take their eyes off her.

Their bodies strangely did not move.

Her existence was on a different dimension from everything they knew.

And at that moment, the woman raised a Violin in one hand.

When the bow, placed on the strings of her Violin, moved for the first time, the air vibrated as if it were tearing apart.

Because she was not a goddess, but a demon.

As the sound echoed, the warriors’ breaths stopped.

They were swept away by the sound in an instant and began to bow their heads.

Their hearts raced, but their consciousness gradually faded.

They began to open their mouths as if drawn by something.

    “Ah, ah, ah, ah…”

“Take me. Take me. Take me. Take me. Take me. Take me. Take me. Take me.”

    “Kueh, ack!”

    “Cough…!”

    Some pleaded, and some succumbed.

Others opened their mouths wide and slowly raised their heads.

Red liquid flowed from their mouths.

It was not pouring out all at once, but rather felt like it was constantly flowing down.

The Aein’s eyes shook emptily, and their bodies collapsed to the ground, unable to support themselves.

The other warriors in the village, no, everyone regardless of gender, were the same.

They stood there with their mouths open.

Some scratched their faces, digging into their own flesh with their fingernails.

Others grabbed their heads and writhed on the floor.

Having lost their reason, they struggled between pain and ecstasy.

The trembling that started from their fingertips began to flow through their entire bodies, and their fingernails tore their flesh to shreds.

    “Kihik, hiiiiiit!”

One Aein woman tried to wipe the red substance from her mouth, but her hand moved on its own, slashing across her face.

It was as if she was trying to scratch her own face off.

    I’m so ugly.

“I have witnessed beauty, so my face must be torn apart!!!!”

Slowly, something dark red began to flow from her fingertips, running down her entire body and soaking the floor.

She couldn’t say anything, she just smiled.

Her eyes were blank, and her expression was a mixture of joy and pain.

    “Wer ein holdes Weib errungen,

He who has won a gracious woman,

    Der mische seinen Jubel ein!

    Let him mingle his rejoicing!”

Jaehee smiled and continued to play the Violin.

    The chorus continued.

The music resonated deeper and more intensely.

As the sound deepened, the Aein of Transvia completely collapsed.

    They were no longer themselves.

They no longer spoke, their bodies simply moved to Jaehee’s music.

A blacksmith raised his head from within the crowd.

He still held a hammer in his hand, but he didn’t know what he was trying to do.

He tried to put the hammer down, but his trembling hand stopped him.

At that moment, dark red liquid slowly flowed from his mouth.

The blacksmith knelt down, and the red liquid flowing from his mouth soaked his body.

Jaehee’s music resonated more and more fiercely, and the village was submerged in the sound.

No one spoke anymore, and their bodies controlled themselves in a confusion of fear and joy.

They opened their mouths and spat something out, and began to scratch their bodies with their hands.

As time passed, they dug deeper and deeper.

The earth of the village was covered with the dark red liquid they spewed out.

Jaehee watched their figures with interest and slowly began to move. Following her, the villagers moved slowly, but without hesitation. Their eyes held no light, and only their heavy steps continued. They no longer seemed to belong to this world.

    “Kill!”

    “Don’t let her get close!”

Jaehee was now deep within the kingdom, entering a city with a magnificent palace.

It was also fun to see the beautiful and mysterious scenery of the Otherworld….

    “Kyaaaaaaack!”

    “Save me!”

“Drendle! Why are you doing this! Why are you attacking us!”

    “For beauty!”

It was also good to see the plundering Aein biting, tearing, and devouring each other.

As soon as those who joined the marching ranks arrived in the capital, Jaehee released their leashes, allowing them to move as they pleased. Thanks to this, a very miserable sight unfolded in the capital, with the Aein killing and being killed by each other.

For a long time, the Aein of Transvia had believed that they stood at the pinnacle of the world.

Looting was the essence of their lives, and they firmly adhered to the belief that the strong deserved to have everything.

They had accumulated wealth and glory through countless plunders, and they believed that if someone stronger than them appeared, it was natural for them to be robbed.

However, when the Succubus Empress Jaehee appeared, their beliefs began to waver for the first time.

Jaehee’s tragedy was on a different dimension from that.

It was more like swallowing existence than looting, and more like despair itself than conquest.

One warrior knelt down, trying to suppress something boiling inside him.

    “Are we… not strong? Why… why… is this…”

His voice cracked, and red liquid began to flow from deep within his chest.

He forced his mouth shut, but it gradually overwhelmed him.

He no longer knew who he was or why he was fighting. His vision blurred, and his mind went blank.

    “This is wrong… this is…”

Another warrior next to him also had dark red liquid flowing from his mouth, and he looked around with confused eyes.

He grabbed his body and slowly collapsed, no longer having the strength to speak.

    Their beliefs were disappearing.

According to the virtues they had learned, they should be proud of being plundered by the strong.

But the scene unfolding before their eyes was far from awe of the strong.

They were being destroyed by the hands of the strong, but it was difficult to accept this situation.

Jaehee was destroying not only their bodies but also their minds.

The belief they had held, that ‘the strong deserve to have everything,’ was nothing more than an empty cry in front of Jaehee.

A nobleman of the kingdom watched Jaehee’s procession approaching from afar, his lips trembling.

He, too, had thought that if they were destroyed by the strong, it was their destiny.

But now he was not sure if he could uphold that belief to the end.

What Jaehee had caused was not a simple victory or plunder.

She was destroying the meaning of all existence.

“Save me. Please save me. Please. Please. Please…. Ah, aaaaaaaah!”

The warriors of Transvia were now beginning to doubt their very existence.

They thought they would be proud even when they were destroyed by the strong.

But what they faced was self-denial, misery, and begging for their lives.

Even the reason for their existence lost its meaning in front of Jaehee.

A will to resist welled up from deep within someone’s heart, but even that was suppressed by the melody of the Violin.

The red waves flowing from their bodies were no longer their own.

“Hmm, the Transvia Royal Palace is certainly impressive. It’s amazing that they’re plunderers but also so advanced in magic and academics that they’re researching Rifts on their own~”

Jaehee toured the capital with a relaxed and light step, the only one at ease in the disastrous and tragic scene.

The capital’s defense magic, magical artillery?

The procession was damaged and destroyed, but nothing could harm Jaehee.

The Aein, who had become puppets, exclaimed, ‘The King is bombarding us himself!’ And indeed, quite large meteoric magic was manifested several times, but it did not reach Jaehee.

Even if it had reached her, she would have regenerated.

Thus, without a single scratch or even a speck of dust on her suit, Jaehee confidently entered the Royal Palace.

The Royal Palace was decorated grotesquely with splendid collections and interiors, and various ornaments and structures that could not be seen on Earth, but Jaehee did not appreciate them.

    “You’ve come.”

Because the old king, a king who looked old even at a glance, was waiting for Jaehee.

Jaehee decided not to say much.

    However, she was curious.

‘Even though I made eye contact with him… he didn’t succumb?’

    How curious.
