38 – Pets (4)

The painful morning ended, and it was lunchtime, but Hayoon just nodded, looking exhausted.

Aside from the time she was unconscious, she hadn’t slept a wink since last night, and the fatigue accumulated in her body was no joke.

Walking on her joints alone was painful, and she was tormented by Mr. Park during her morning duties, not to mention the random kicks she received, so it was only natural.

But every time she tried to fall asleep, the choke around her neck and the attached leash were pulled.

    “Cough, hack…”

“It’s not time to sleep yet. You can’t sleep.”

At Hongryun’s words, Hayoon coughed and looked down at the floor with gloomy eyes.

Would she really be able to sleep when it was time to sleep? She could say with certainty that it would never happen.

She would definitely use some extraordinary method to disturb her sleep. If it were her, she would definitely do that. And Hongryun would do the same.

To have to live like this for another week, just thinking about it made her feel weak.

No, her mindset was already very different from when she first entered. Back then, she thought she could manage somehow, but now she felt like she couldn’t do anything no matter what.

As she was being dominated by a rising sense of gloom, a bowl was thrust in front of her.

It was oatmeal, which she had eaten to the point of disgust. She blankly raised her head, and Hongryun said,

“Why are you looking at me like that? Did you think I wouldn’t even give you food?”

To be honest, she did. Because if it were her, she definitely would have. No matter how much she was beaten and tormented, those were pains she could endure.

But hunger, like sleep, was not something she could bear by simply enduring it.

When Hayoon just stared without saying anything, Hongryun frowned and grabbed the bowl again.

“You look like you don’t want it. I’ll take it back then.”

    “N-no! I’ll eat it, argh!”

She spoke urgently, but suddenly a slap flew at her. Hongryun chuckled as she watched Hayoon fall sideways from the impact.

    “You’re like a roly-poly toy.”

“Why, why are you hitting me…!”

“It’s annoying that a beast is speaking human language, isn’t it?”

“And you spoke again?” Hongryun said that and lifted her foot, then stomped down on her abdomen.

“Ugh-” Hayoon vomited and twisted her body this way and that. But her foot was still on her abdomen, so she just struggled like a butterfly pinned to a board.

“You keep forgetting your place, but you’re a pet now. Don’t talk like us humans, and howl like a beast.”

    “Cough, huff…!”

Hayoon flailed her arms at the sensation of being crushed under the weight. But her arms were taped tightly to her body, making them too short to even reach, let alone grab her leg.

Hongryun, who had been tormenting Hayoon by grinding her foot for a long time, lifted her foot and said,

“So behave yourself from now on. If you act like a human again, you’ll get hit like this again.”

    “Sniffle, sniffle…”

    “Get up.”

Hayoon groaned but struggled to get up. She was sure that if she didn’t listen again, a foot would fly at her.

Hongryun watched her and pushed the bowl forward with her foot, saying,

    “Eat. Every last bit.”

She didn’t even question how. Her arms were tied like this, and she was told to act like a beast, so the only way was to bury her face and lick it up.

Hayoon squeezed her eyes shut and stuck out her tongue to lick up the oatmeal.

As she put her face in the bowl and ate with licking sounds, she heard giggling in her ear. She thought it was one of Hongryun’s gang, but she realized it wasn’t when she heard the next voice.

“She’s really eating like a dog.”

    “Does she have no pride?”

It was Yoon Serin and Han Sua. It was infuriating to hear them say that when they were no better than her, but there was nothing she could do. Hayoon was lower in status than them right now.

More than that, eating using only her tongue was very difficult. It was hard to breathe while licking, so she had to lift her head from time to time. But every time she did, she felt Hongryun’s gaze looking down at her and the eyes of the others, so she had to lower her head immediately.

Even when everyone else had finished eating and returned, Hayoon could barely manage to empty one bowl of oatmeal. Hongryun gently stroked her head as she said to the completely empty bowl,

“Were you very hungry? Was it good?”

    “…”

    “You have to answer.”

Hayoon grimaced at the feeling of her hair being grabbed.

    “Y-yes… It, it was good.”

“Really? That’s good. But why are you speaking human language?”

    “Ah!”

Hongryun, who had pulled her hair back and made her tilt her head back, sighed deeply.

“Our Hayoon, do you have no learning ability? Are you perhaps mentally deficient? How can you forget what I said just a moment ago?”

“Th-then what do you want me to do!”

    “Are you angry right now?”

Hayoon instantly realized her mistake at the sharp voice. She had snapped back without realizing it because of the constantly irritating tone.

But what did she really want her to do? If she didn’t answer, she would get yelled at for not answering, and if she answered, she would get yelled at for speaking human language. She looked at Hongryun with an utterly wronged expression, but all that would happen was a slap.

Smack- Smack- As her hand went back and forth across Hayoon’s face, her already reddish face became even redder.

Hongryun wiped the blood flowing from her burst lip with her hand and said in a pitiful voice,

“Not only are you stupid, but you’re also hot-tempered and impulsive. What am I going to do with you?”

    “Guh…!”

“I’ll be kind enough to tell you this time, so open your blocked ears and listen carefully.”

Then she came close to her ear and whispered,

“You just have to act like a dog. When I say something, bark in response and follow me unconditionally. Don’t question it, just be like a dog. Okay?”

    “…”

“If you understand, you have to answer?”

    “…Woof.”

Hongryun’s expression softened as she stroked her head when she answered in a squeezed voice.

“Good job, our Hayoon. Now that I think about it, there’s still some lunch left, right?”

The trainees’ meals were always oatmeal, an apple, a banana, and a milk, regardless of whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Hongryun poured milk into the empty oatmeal bowl and said in a sweet tone,

“I’ll stay with you until Hayoon finishes eating, so eat slowly?”

    “…Woof.”

Hayoon barked in a gloomy voice. She licked up the milk, chewed on the apple, and then finally, only the banana was left.

Hongryun peeled the banana halfway and put it to her crotch, then suddenly blurted out,

    “Don’t chew, lick it.”

    “…Woof?”

“Are you pretending not to know? Lick it like you’re giving a blowjob.”

Hayoon’s face contorted at the words she spat out while giggling. She couldn’t understand how much she had to humiliate herself before she would stop. But she didn’t have the right to refuse.

Hayoon crawled forward and struggled to lift her body, then put her tongue to the banana that was sticking out like a penis. Then she started moving back and forth without using her teeth, as if she were giving a blowjob.

Hongryun felt a strange sense of conquest as she watched Hayoon suck and lick the banana below her.

That feeling that she used to feel often when she was a man, that sensation that she had forgotten for a long time, made her unconsciously raise the hand that wasn’t holding the banana and put it on Hayoon’s head.

“You’re good at it. Did Teacher Choi teach you well?”

    “Umm, uhh…”

Hayoon ignored the words and licked the banana as quickly as possible.

After licking it a few times, it quickly became mushy and drooped in her mouth, and she unconsciously broke it off with her teeth, and a fist fell on her head.

    “Ugh!”

“I told you to lick it, who told you to break it off?”

“I almost ate it all, so it could happen! Ugh…”

Annoyance surged, and she blurted it out in a fit of anger, but Hayoon quickly cowered and looked at Hongryun.

But her expression wasn’t as bad as she thought. She was still smiling brightly, looking like she was in a good mood.

    “You spoke again?”

It could have been a misunderstanding. As Hayoon hung her head, Hongryun squatted down and muttered as if lamenting,

“If it were the teachers, Hayoon would never have dared to talk back like this… I guess I was too easy on you. Right?”

    “W-woof…”

“Now that you’ve finished eating, shall we go for a walk to digest?”

Walk. At those words, Hayoon shook her head urgently. Just standing on her elbows and knees was already a torment, but walking would be twice as painful. She was barely enduring the pain right now, but a walk?

“That’s strange… All the dogs get excited and jump around when you say let’s go for a walk…”

    “Woof…”

    “Jinah. Can you come here?”

Ryu Jinah, who had been watching Hongryun’s antics from behind with Baek Sora with disapproving eyes, approached with a bewildered expression. Hongryun looked at her as she came closer and gestured towards Hayoon, saying,

    “Get on her back.”

    “Get on… That’s.”

“Too harsh.” Ryu Jinah swallowed the words that came up to her throat. No matter how light she was, she was easily over 40kg. If she got on the back of a kid who was having a hard time just standing, she would definitely collapse without even being able to stand.

“Don’t do it if you don’t want to.”

    “Huh?”

Ryu Jinah spat out the words as if surprised at Hongryun’s words. But she had no choice but to sigh again at the words that followed.

“But I told you, right? You have to choose between Hayoon and me. And you chose me. If you back out now… I’ll be very sad.”

“Really… Don’t say it like that.”

“Then don’t act like I have to say it like this.”

She doesn’t give in a single word. Ryu Jinah scratched her head and said to Hayoon, who was looking at her with anxious eyes, as if she couldn’t help it,

    “I don’t know. It’s your fault.”

“What did I do wrong?” Hayoon thought so in her heart, but soon bit her molars hard at the weight of Ryu Jinah getting on her back.

It was pain that felt like her elbows and knees, as well as her waist, would break.

    “Ugh…!”

“Just so you know, if you drop Ryu Jinah, I’ll put Baek Sora on top too.”

    “…Is that even possible?”

Ryu Jinah muttered as she looked at Hayoon’s back, which she was sitting on. Hayoon was small in stature to begin with. She had large breasts compared to her stature, but when you think about it, she was smaller than Baek Sora.

Just herself sitting on it was enough to fill the narrow back, but to put Baek Sora on top of that?

Hongryun was a truly vicious girl. As Ryu Jinah was thinking that, Hayoon gasped and tried to endure.

But it wasn’t easy to endure. When you think about it, she was carrying a weight equal to her own weight on her back. It was a miracle that this body, which had the worst athletic ability, was even able to endure.

But Hongryun didn’t leave Hayoon alone. She pulled the leash taut and said,

“We have to go for a walk?”

    “Cough, hack…!”

Hayoon had no choice but to take a step because she was pulling so hard that she was suffocating. But she could tell just by taking one step. She would definitely fall to the side on the next step.

And when she took the second step, Hayoon couldn’t overcome the pain and fell to the side. Ryu Jinah let out a surprised voice, “Whoa!” but she couldn’t hear it. She felt a burning heat on her elbows and knees.

As she grimaced in pain and suppressed her groans, Hongryun muttered in a happy voice,

    “You dropped her?”
