    29. Back to Earth

    29. Back to Earth.

    +++

    Seoul, Gwanghwamun Square airspace.

This square, which has changed the history of South Korea in many ways, was a place where the people united whenever something happened.

From as few as tens of thousands to as many as hundreds of millions.

The avenue, stretching out briskly from the statue of Admiral Yi Sun-shin, one of the most respected figures in history, seemed like the center and lifeblood of the country.

At that square, a huge crowd gathered.

Easily a thousand police officers formed a long perimeter, blocking people, and countless news helicopters, police helicopters, and emergency helicopters were busily spinning their propellers in the sky.

“Punish Yu-eun, the enemy of mankind!!”

    “Punish! Punish!”

“Look at them! The Bible says, when you see the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place, then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains!”

    “Amen!”

“Where is that mountain!! Revelation says it is Mount Zion.”

    “Amen!”

    “That Mount Zion is~~”

“Our savior, the second coming of Jesus and Comforter, Sora-nim is coming down to us again!”

    “Amen!”

“She has shown many miracles to make us believe, but still people areㅡ,”

    People of all kinds.

Beyond the human barricade formed by the police, protesters, religious groups, and reporters desperate for coverage were screaming and trying to get into the square.

Every time, the police were the ones who suffered.

“Aish. We could’ve just gone to Gangnam, why come here for something like this.”

“…Ahem…well, the President made this suggestion….”

“So, Chief, you’re saying you like this?”

    “Don’t be ridiculous.”

A不良(bully) police officer who, despite being a cop, had given any semblance of being a role model to the dogs, even flicking his cigarette butt onto the street, and, in contrast to her, the neatly uniformed Superintendent Shin Do-hee.

Both were waiting for someone in the square’s restricted road, with their official vehicles parked nearby.

That someone was, of course, Yu-eun.

The reason the square was such a mess right now was all because of Yu-eun.

“Being the Gangnam Chief and coming all the way to Gwanghwamun for this…ha…..”

Although not as nonchalant as Lieutenant Eun next to her, Shin Do-hee also sighed.

If she had her way, she would stop this ridiculous act immediately, but due to the strong request of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Commissioner, who was riding the Yu-eun and presidential line, she was stuck here doing this.

Shin Do-hee even had to perform the role of escorting Yu-eun directly.

“Ah~ Is Superintendent finally getting caught in that bastard’s clutches?”

    “…Don’t say such terrible things.”

“No, but our Superintendent is too pretty to just leave alone. I wonder if that horny bastard will just let it slide~”

Saying that, he took out another cigarette and gave an uncharacteristic eye smile.

He’s already been eaten up and he’s talking so casually like it’s someone else’s problem. He’s so annoying.

“Hoo…well, don’t think too badly of it. Aside from the first few times, I’ve been living a pretty decent life.”

“What do you mean by a decent life??”

“Why are you asking when you already know?”

He kept teasing Shin Do-hee while chuckling.

“…Do you want to be demoted?”

“Wow. That’s too much. Demotion just for saying a few words. That’s why you haven’t had a boyfriend until now.”

    “…I do…have a boyfriend.”

    “You ‘had’ one, maybe.”

    “….”

“Ah~ I wonder if there’s a decent guy to take our Shin Superintendent away~ Even if there is, he probably wouldn’t be able to handle her energy~.”

    “Keuek….”

Just as the anger veins were popping out, the air inside the square suddenly began to change.

The direction of the wind and the subtle smells changed, and the strength of the wind and the echoing sounds changed significantly.

    “…Is he coming?”

Lieutenant Eun flicked off the cigarette he was smoking, and Shin Do-hee straightened her posture. Then, she picked up the microphone and shouted in a clear voice.

    “Everyone~ Attention!!!”

From the male police officers who formed a human barricade to block the protesters, to the female police officers who were lined up in the square in special uniforms for Yu-eun’s escort, they stopped what they were doing and straightened their posture.

Although Shin Do-hee seemed relatively light-hearted next to Lieutenant Eun (Chief Inspector), who had given up on promotion, the position of police chief of a local, Gangnam police station was by no means low, and the rank of Superintendent was high, if not higher.

    Kuuung.

A huge vortex began to swirl in the sky.

A bizarre phenomenon where the clouds scattered wildly and the space even seemed distorted.

After about 10 seconds of that phenomenon, a giant space battleship suddenly appeared.

A strong gust of wind struck the city due to the sudden appearance of the massive mass.

A woman’s skirt, which she was walking in lightly, was lifted up significantly, and the pickets held by the protesters were broken and blown away.

    “…He’s here.”

A truly enormous battleship, to the point where it was hard to believe it was real.

How could such a large object be floating in the air?

Shin Do-hee became newly afraid of Yu-eun.

    +++

“Oh oh! Who is this? Isn’t it Superintendent Shin.”

    “…Welcome. Welcome back.”

“Why are you being so stiff? Between us.”

Getting off the ground in a container-like transport ship, what I saw was a huge number of people cursing at me, a cult-like group cheering strangely at Sora-nuna, and a group of police officers waiting to escort us.

And if there are any police officers I have a connection with, it would be Lieutenant Eun-ssi and her superior, Superintendent Shin Do-hee.

At the appearance of the two beauties, I greeted them happily and subtly wrapped my arm around Lieutenant-ssi’s waist.

“…Why are you putting your arm around me, you pervert.”

“Ahem. Is that any way to talk to your husband after a long time?”

    “Husband my ass.”

She clicks her tongue and turns her head, but that’s cute too.

It just so happens that I’m having a sex party with the maids today…hehe. I guess I can invite these two too. Is it Do-hee-ssi’s first time?

“Hehe. Lieutenant-ssi, it’s been four months, aren’t you wet down there?”

    “Bullshit.”

Lieutenant-ssi bared her teeth and cursed, then pushed me away and walked forward.

I sighed at that, and Do-hee-ssi, who was guiding me, came up.

    “Are we going separately?”

Another police officer came and attached himself to my wives, including Yuna-ssi, who asked from behind.

It seems like they’re moving in different vehicles.

    “See you later.”

I waved my hand at them and got into the car that Do-hee-ssi opened for me.

    .

    .

“Ha. Seriously, why do we have to do something like this.”

“Something like this? It’s kind of fun.”

Lieutenant-ssi, who was sitting next to me in the car going to Gangnam, grumbled.

For reference, the car I’m in is filled with female police officers, and all the other official vehicles carrying our group, and even the people on the police motorcycles(?) decorating the front and back of the procession are all female police officers.

They restricted all related roads to quickly escort me to Gangnam, and thanks to that, the media in Korea and around the world are in an uproar.

Even now, several news helicopters are persistently following us and filming, so maybe my face will be on the front page of newspapers around the world tomorrow.

“Ah, that’s right. I’m having a party to celebrate my return later, so Lieutenant-ssi, you should come too?”

    “I don’t want to.”

“Do-hee-nuna, let’s go together. Lieutenant-ssi is coming too.”

“Hey! When did I say that!”

    “Nu, nuna?”

“There’s a 17-year age difference, but that’s close enough to call you nuna.”

Do-hee-ssi is 37 years old and I’m 20 years old, so there’s about as much difference as a high school girl.

Still, if you’re pretty, that’s all that matters. Do-hee-ssi has a great body and great skin.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve been back, so I’m planning to have a lot of fun, so please come everyone. The nunas in the front can come too.”

    “…We’ll decline.”

The simple answer from the female police officer who was driving.

    Too bad.

    +++

    “Mr. President.”

    “How did it go?”

“He just arrived and is said to have departed for Gangnam.”

    “I see.”

He, who had been pacing anxiously inside the office, sat down as if relieved.

He wanted to go and welcome him himself, but that would send too strong of a message, and Yu-eun probably wouldn’t like him, a man.

    “Is Major Han there too?”

    “No…there’s no news yet.”

    “Hmm.”

He tapped the table for a moment, thinking.

“The outside world will show a negative reaction…and maybe even recognize us as an enemy state.”

“…Well, the perception of the Palace is like that….”

Due to the division of China and the sinking of Japan, Korea has gained a considerable geographical advantage, but that advantage is gradually fading as it joins hands with the infamous evil organization called the Harem Palace.

But the President thought it was worth it enough, and did not let go of the connection to the Palace.

“The only answer for the Korean people to survive and prosper is to unite with the Palace. And if possible, we must defeat the United States in this Korean peninsula and East Asia and become the hegemonic power in East Asia.”

    “Is that…possible?”

“We are already in technical alliance with the Harem Palace. It’s the only achievement in the world. With technology creating the future, we are already ahead.”

    His values were firm.

He is willing to do whatever it takes, as long as the nation can survive and prosper, no matter the sacrifice.

The ‘that’ operation he is secretly planning with Han Sarang is all due to that.

“I will be visiting Russia soon, so please prepare.”

    “Russia?”

“Yes. If the United States finds out that I, who have expressed pro-Palace tendencies, am having a meeting with Russia, they will be shitting their pants a little.”

He decided to bring in the Palace and get rid of the United States for the sake of the Korean people’s revival.
