    2 – Otherworld Invasion 2

    Sector-13.

The world named [Transvia] was a world of savagery.

It possessed a civilization akin to what is commonly referred to as medieval fantasy. Swords and magic existed, and exceptional classes like knights and mages led wars. Kingdoms constantly waged war and fought to seize each other’s possessions.

The dominant intelligent beings of Transvia were bipedal humanoids.

Their differences from Earth humans included entirely black eyes, a complete lack of hair except on their heads, and non-degenerate, lizard-like tails, making them demi-humans.

And, befitting an invading civilization, they were inherently more ferocious and warlike than humans.

As with all intelligent beings’ worlds, intelligent beings, including humans, inevitably fight, compete, envy, and are jealous of each other, but the demi-humans of Transvia were extreme in this regard.

In particular, it was natural for countries and advanced civilizations to establish systems of tearing at and competing with other races and nations. The Transvia dimension was filled with numerous military states, or what could be called monarchies, which built their national foundations from the start through plunder and war.

In the process, the weak were eaten or merged countless times, and ultimately, several monarchical states remained across the continent, still desperate to devour each other to this day.

However, as the fierce wars continued endlessly, the people and the nation eventually began to express extreme war fatigue.

Some countries managed to stop the war and successfully solidify a stable, domestic-focused system.

However, in the case of kingdoms where the environment was barren and their economy had been driven by plunder and war from birth, domestic control was impossible.

The domestic munitions industry needed war to function, the distribution of goods not available domestically required plunder, and for those who established the nation’s faith through war, peace and domestic affairs were not only unfamiliar but also impossible to adapt to.

“Your Highness, at this rate, our people will only slowly starve and wither away.”

A demi-human with skin close to grayish-white bowed to the king and spoke.

    “Then is there a solution?”

    The king asked.

They couldn’t start another war or return to a plunder system.

The countries of the entire continent, sick of the endless wars that had continued for hundreds of years, formed a coalition to strike any country that started a war as a top priority.

Even attempting to start a war meant facing a joint attack from all the kingdoms.

No matter how inherently plunderous and war-driven a dynasty was, they couldn’t choose the suicidal act of fighting all the kingdoms of Transvia.

So, the magic scholars came up with a clever plan.

Why not wage war against a place that isn’t a coalition, that doesn’t belong to this continent, this world?

    It wasn’t an impossible story.

The Transvia dimension was a world where the sword energy of knights and the Superpower and magic of mages had been academically developed for a long time.

It would take a long time, but it wasn’t impossible to open a door to another dimension.

But the vested interests of the kingdom weren’t fools either.

“If we open the door, we must consider the possibility that the country or civilization there may be far superior to us.”

“There may be those who foresee the opening of the door. Prophets and dimension forecasters may exist there as well.”

“We are fully aware of that, Your Highness. Please do not worry.”

Therefore, the kingdom had no intention of opening the dimensional gate for a long time.

“Our kingdom began by plundering farms that quietly stayed put.”

The opposing civilization might be strong, but the kingdom knew how to hunt and plunder those stronger than themselves.

They knew from the depths of their bones how to tear down fortresses and plunder kingdoms.

So, they deliberately opened the door under the guise of ‘exchange’ and began to assess the level of technology and military power of Earth, specifically South Korea.

The reason they initially proposed the absurd condition of a 70 percent tax rate was not for exchange but for ‘plunder.’

“We have assessed the level of the opposing civilization.”

“Mana and Superpower exist, and their technology is estimated to be higher than our kingdom’s.”

“However, it has been confirmed that they have not mastered magic and magical engineering for long.”

“Our greatest strength and advantage is opening the door. We should actively utilize this!”

Quickly plunder cities and villages with commando raids through the door and retreat before the army arrives.

Since the door can be opened and closed at any time, they will only be unilaterally plundered.

    The invaders are righteous.

Because they defined themselves as righteous and boldly declared to the world and continent to which their nation and people belonged, ‘Domination is our inherent human right and entitlement!’

    All invaders’ words were grand.

For the sake of the nation and people.

    To avoid destruction.

To seize the happiness before our eyes.

    For my people.

    To achieve our shining era!

Thus, the invaders, or rather, those who belonged to the vested interests, walked far too easily toward a hellish path disguised as goodwill and righteousness.

Because walking that blazing crimson flame wasn’t their own feet.

The vested interests were carried on the backs of young and innocent people, sucking their blood until the young people’s feet burned and necrosed, then abandoning them and sucking the blood of someone new.

‘Go there, and endless glory awaits you, your people, and us.’

‘Let’s go, victory and glory await us!’

They said, pointing with their fingers.

The young people who knew nothing… or even if they knew their blood was being sucked, they had no choice.

The path disguised as goodwill looked so dazzling, and all that their blinded eyes could see was the dazzling path.

    Thus, they decided to plunder.

While the Korean government was just pushing papers at their desks under the guise of exchange, the kingdom already intended to seize all the abundant resources of Earth and South Korea.

    “For our new era!”

    “For victory!”

“Family, mothers and fathers, children and descendants will praise you! For making us full, for enriching us, for reaping the harvest in the face of the most treacherous waves!”

Good and evil are meaningless, and everyone becomes a righteous plunderer, drooling.

“Their strength and weapons may be strong, but taking and returning is our innate human right and entitlement!”

“Plunder everything! Kill the men, enslave the women!”

Thus, preparations for plunder were complete.

Soon, they would close the door that had been opened under the name of exchange.

Once the door was closed, they would begin unilateral plunder.

‘The enemies’ movements are the same as ever. It’s certain they don’t suspect we’re going to attack.’

‘They don’t know. Those who cultivate the land have been trapped in complacency and weakness for generations.’

‘Their possessions will fill our descendants!’

The kingdom’s plan itself was quite excellent.

Noticing that the opponent’s (Korea’s) technology and strength were equal to or greater than their own, they avoided direct warfare and rationally and plausibly shifted their direction to guerrilla and plunder warfare, taking advantage of their ability to open the Rift.

    Yes, it was plausible.

    “AHAHAHAHA~!”

That was until a certain succubus empress descended upon this land.

    Ah, what good air.

Clean without fine dust like in Seoul, clear water, and two or so stars smaller than the sun in the sky.

Even though it was a sky with two suns in Earth terms, strangely, the light seemed slightly fainter than that.

    A wondrous world… Ah.

    But it’s beautiful.

Other worlds that aren’t Earth always feel alien, but at the same time, there was a sense of rapture that came from that subtle beauty and the unfamiliarity of never having experienced it before.

    “Hmm?”

At that moment, the Rift closed.

As soon as I turned around, the door suddenly closed with a swoosh—did the Korean government trick me and try to exile me to another world? I thought.

No, whatever else, Officer Dan wouldn’t do that.

And even though the Rift closed, it seems this isn’t the only one.

‘The connection to Earth is still there.’

    That Defector wolf-eared girl.

And Yujin of the Hoyeon Guild.

They weren’t quite familiars, but since a faint ‘connection’ was still there, the world of Earth and Transvia wasn’t completely severed.

‘It’s either a temporary phenomenon… or even if it isn’t, there’s a way to open the Rift again.’

So, there’s a way to return.

    Then….

    This world is just me?

    Only me in this world.

Only I possess such beauty in this world…?

    Officer Dan isn’t here either.

There are no civilians to protect and safeguard.

There’s no one to tell me what to do.

Then does that mean I can endlessly revel in beauty?

Does that mean I can spread my beauty in this world?

    My beauty.

    That I am beautiful.

That I am absolutely, certainly beautiful.

    From here.

Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly. Endlessly.

    “Heh, heh heh…!”

    I laugh.

    Laughter comes out.

    A smile forms.

The corners of my lips turn up.

    “snrnsi!!”

    I hear a sound.

It sounds like they’re talking to me.

Someone appeared from between the leaf-like buildings.

A humanoid creature with no eyebrows and no hair on its skin except for its head.

    Ah, a humanoid creature.

    An intelligent being.

Then… that means they can understand my beauty?

    Ah, ah hah.

    “clguliuulul!”

    “whtla gofk! gurliy!”

    They’re talking.

They’re telling me to be careful.

    They recognized me.

    They’re baring their teeth.

    They’re holding weapons.

    They’re glaring at me.

    They’re looking at my back.

    Ah, ah hah, I’m excited.

    I’m excited.

    Smile.

    First impressions are important.

    Now, unveil.

    Let’s greet them.

    “Hello~♥”

    “…”

    “…”

    “…”

    The noisy things became quiet.

The spears and swords in their hands fall.

The Mana that was hostile to me dissipates.

    They’re looking at me.

Even though they look a little different, they understood my beauty.

    Those demi-humans understood my beauty!

I’m a beautiful being here too!!!

    “Cough!!!!!”

    “Cough cough!!!!”

    “Ku, hoo…!”

They’re spitting blood from their eyes.

Blood is flowing from their noses.

They’re vomiting blood from their mouths.

Even so, they’re still looking at me.

They can’t take their eyes off me.

    “I’m, pretty, right?”

    I’m pretty.

    They nod.

They don’t understand my words, but they understand my will. Subordinate to my will, they easily nodded.

    -■■■■■■■■■■■■!

Ah, suddenly Violin appeared in my arms.

“Yes? You want to play here too?”

Come to think of it, I haven’t played the Ego Violin much lately, have I?

    Hehehe, don’t worry.

“Here, I might really be able to play to my heart’s content. Without holding back.”

    Without worrying about civilians.

    Everyone.

    By my beauty.

    By the melody.

I can make them all be captivated.

    -♪♪♪♪♪~!!!

    The Ego Violin is glowing.

    The children.

They’re rejoicing as if responding to my freely liberated will.

    -Hooray!

    -Play!

    -Freedom here!

    -Play to your heart’s content!

    -Let’s play endlessly!

    -Madly!

    -Captivatingly!

    -Cursed!

    -Ecstatically!

-Let’s play to the point of death!!!

    -Adelie Penguin!

    -Sex!

    -Play! Play! Play!

    “Hehehe, calm down.”

As Violin glows, the strings stretch out in all directions like spiderwebs.

Then, those strings began to pierce the heads of the demi-humans who were captivated by me.

    -Language!

    -Understanding!

    -Sound!

    -Voice!

    -Words!

    -Eat! Eat!

“Oh my, you can even do this?”

Since it’s the Ego Violin that belongs to me, I could immediately tell what the children were trying to do.

The children are now trying to eat and dig into the demi-humans’ minds and brains to understand.

    The laws of this world.

What you were trying to do.

    Whether you understand music.

What kind of people you are.

They’re trying to understand before cursing, captivating, and making them ecstatic.

    “Kuh, kuhreu… eu…!”

    But someone is resisting.

They were captivated by me, but it seems a fragment of reason remained?

They’re still staring at me with bloodshot eyes, but somehow they’re trying to resist the Ego Violin from digging into their heart.

“Oh my, could they be someone noble and outstanding, like a general or aristocrat?”

Now that I see, they’re not looking at me with eyes that crave me even in their captivated state, but glaring at me.

    Ah, amazing.

    A hero.

    Yes.

They might have been a being called a hero in this world.

    In this kingdom.

    “Hehehe.”

    So I laughed.

    Because it was pathetic.

    “Open. Your heart.”

    “Cough!!!!”

The bloodshot eyes are now vomiting blood from their mouth.

They’re vomiting blood from their nose too.

Blood is seeping out from between their fingernails.

Now, is your heart sufficiently melted?

    “Hehehe, good child.”

    Your melted heart is mine.

Of course, it’s not useful to me.
