1. Yoo Eun-ha

    * * *

So apparently, this is what happened when I came to my senses.

    Let me organize my thoughts.

White hair so long it covered my eyes from lack of care.

    Pitch-black pupils darker than night.

Long eyelashes and perfectly sculpted facial features.

A slender yet alluring figure that could captivate any man.

Looking in the mirror, this face unmistakably belonged to Yoo Jin-seok’s younger sister, Yoo Eun-ha.

Though unlike her talented older brother who excelled from childhood, the constant comparisons drove her into becoming a reclusive shut-in.

    “Damn, my hair’s crazy long.”

Glancing at ‘my’ desk, I recalled how my so-called brother had gotten a recommendation letter from his friend at Hanseong Academy for me.

Wait-why am I identifying myself as Yoo Eun-ha?

Am I the corporate slave guy from the black company? Or Yoo Eun-ha, the girl filled with resentment toward society?

I don’t know. But the memories of the nameless man arguing with the novel’s author and my current existence as Yoo Eun-ha coexist in my mind.

With these conflicting memories, I had to pull myself together.

Whether I was originally a man or just a delusional girl imagining she was one, I couldn’t just roll over and die.

-If you send me to the academy, I’ll kill myself for real!

    -Go ahead, you damn brat.

A memory surfaced of ‘me’ throwing a suicidal tantrum.

Looking back, I just wanted to crawl into a hole and disappear.

Going to the academy was inevitable. So I needed to fix my death flags as much as possible.

One week until academy enrollment. Feeling lightheaded, I grabbed a cigarette from the desk and lit it.

    “Phew.”

    My vision cleared again.

What the hell is in this cigarette? It’s making me feel strangely euphoric.

Whatever. I needed to plan ahead.

Right. Let’s just treat this as a dream. There’s no way a world like this could exist. Even if I have Yoo Eun-ha’s memories, this is just a dream.

Otherwise, a terrifying setting like Divine Sword Unmatched couldn’t possibly be real.

So until I wake up, might as well make the most of it.

“If I use my abilities properly, it shouldn’t be too hard.”

The original Yoo Eun-ha was utterly listless.

She vented her frustrations on the world, found everything bothersome, and never put in effort.

I opened the notebook on my desk and wrote down everything I knew about “Yoo Eun-ha.”

    Name: Yoo Eun-ha

    Age: 17

    Gender: Female

    Unique Abilities:

    AccelerationParallel CircuitAffinity

    Skills:

    [Swordsmanship][Physical Enhancement][Mana Control]

Title: One Who Touched the Origin.

Whether I’m a novel character or not, one thing’s certain-I’m not weak.

I learned swordsmanship from that so-called brother before being exiled here. Physical Enhancement releases mana in the body to temporarily boost physical abilities. Most hunter candidates can use it, just with varying proficiency.

Mana Control is exactly what it sounds like-the ability to manipulate mana.

Surprisingly, the renowned scholar Kim Moo-ryeok claims mana control can even be used for weight loss.

Maintaining mana control boosts physical abilities too. Using Physical Enhancement while training in this state supposedly yields better results-at least according to the author.

Either way, this body has all the fundamentals.

Parallel Circuit: Structures the brain and mana into parallel circuits. Overuse causes side effects.

    Acceleration: Accelerates concepts, actions, etc.

Affinity: Grants resistance to environmental hazards like poison swamps, ice fields, and lava zones within gates.

    Three unique abilities.

    Most awakeners only get one.

Yet I have three. Of course, even all three combined pale in comparison to the protagonist Choi Si-woo’s Divine Sword.

    Isn’t it obvious?

The author just crammed in random abilities meant for villains who never appeared.

That’s why the descriptions are such a mess.

The author admitted it-these were originally meant for villains. But since they got cut, they were dumped onto me instead.

“Gotta get used to this body.”

Strangely, despite the weird memories, I was adapting quickly as Yoo Eun-ha.

    A sudden curiosity struck me.

What if I used Parallel Circuit and full Acceleration on my brain? Could I comprehend the truths of the world?

They’re unique abilities-I should be able to use them as I please.

I applied Acceleration and Parallel Circuit to my own mind.

Instantly, countless thoughts began coexisting in my head. Parallel circuits created endless mental space, flooding it with information.

    [Acceleration][Acceleration][Acceleration]

[This is insane. Beyond normal headaches-this feels like my brain’s splitting. A migraine wouldn’t be this bad.]

[Going crazy. Going crazy. Going crazy. Going crazy. Going crazy. Going crazy.——Going crazy. Going crazy. Going crazy. Going crazy.]

    *CRACK*

    “Fuck, that hurts!”

Was I supposed to attain enlightenment or something?

My mind was a swirling mess of memories until everything suddenly organized itself like text.

Yeah, maybe I should stop doing this crazy shit.

I took another drag. The overheated fog in my mind cleared like steam dissipating.

“Never using this on my brain again. Might actually turn into an idiot.”

    Mana control seemed safer.

In this world, better mana control slows aging. Not quite immortality, but close enough.

Unlike the brain-melting experiment, applying this to mana felt downright broken.

Channeling Parallel Circuit into my internal mana, I instantly felt it expanding.

Training in this state would maximize gains.

    Several days passed.

    “…Cancel.”

I collapsed spread-eagle on the floor.

Miscalculation. I’m not weak, but my stamina is embarrassingly lacking.

    Need to train more.

At least it’s just stamina-everything else is fine.

    “Time to get ready.”

After days here, I’d adapted well.

Whether from the corporate slave’s perspective or Yoo Eun-ha’s, I’d been a frog in a well.

That man-no, that world. Aside from the cataclysmic historical divergence, most things were the same.

    Culturally, socially-no major differences.

    “Should probably cut my hair.”

I gave myself a rough trim. Just styling the bangs made a stunning beauty appear in the mirror.

Redid all my piercings too. Surprisingly, they suited me-no discomfort at all.

“Isn’t the Divine Sword Awakener enrolling this year?”

“Not just that-a pureblood elf too, right?”

“Heard the Divine Sword’s little sister is joining as well.”

Choi Si-woo, the Divine Sword Hero; Reina, the Spirit Elf; and Yoo Eun-ha, the Divine Sword’s sister.

Choi Si-woo earned his title just by awakening the Divine Sword. Reina, a pureblood elf, is a heroine specializing in spirit arrows. And the sister-that’s me.

With rumors spreading like this, my position as a heroine was already cemented.

“Might as well go full irregular then.”

    *Beep*

A notification chimed from my newly acquired Galaxy Magi-Gear.

[Firebat: You’re dead if you’re late today. Got it?]
