    1 – Predation (Part 1 Complete)

Makia learned how to manage human territories.

As the scale grew, techniques for efficiently managing the territory became necessary.

Even if the lord could sense the state of the territory through the ley lines, they couldn’t burden the lord with everything.

Amel was planning to step down as lord, but Makia was supposed to return to being a Territory Owner after everything was over.

She prepared for the time when human villages would be gathered together to increase the scale.

    “So that’s how it is.”

“In this case, you do this…”

But listening to it became complicated.

She learned this and that from the teacher assigned by the lord, but it was all internal affairs and diplomacy.

    The teacher said,

“It’s truly admirable how you spare no effort for the lord.”

“Enough with the compliments. More than that, being a lord is overwhelming. Do I have to learn all this?”

“The lord’s seat is a position where you decide something for the safety and development of the territory. Everything in the territory depends on the lord’s choices. If you know a lot when making decisions, you can make the right decisions.”

    “Hmm…”

    That wasn’t wrong.

    It made sense.

Amel was quitting being a lord.

Quitting, but still, she couldn’t help but be fascinated by the power.

Even if she didn’t quit, Makia didn’t mind.

She acquired the knowledge the teacher taught for when she returned to being a Territory Owner or when she assisted Amel.

    It was then.

    Makia’s tail stood on end.

    She jumped up.

    Fear instinctively stimulated her.

She ran out of the room to grasp the situation.

    Rumble-

    The ground shook.

    Shallowly,

    And then it burst.

    Bang-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The mountain range visible from the lord’s castle exploded.

The mountain range disappeared, leaving only the base.

A pillar of dust that pierced through the mountain range poured out in gray, containing the energy of a rumble- thunder. The pillar of dust, which rose like clouds, shone brightly inside and tried to reach the end of the sky.

    “…What is that?!”

“It’s, it’s the end of the world..!”

The surrounding humans collapsed and panicked.

The size of the dust pillar was so large that it looked like it could cover the city at once.

Even though the distance was considerable, it occupied almost the entire field of vision when looking up at the dust pillar.

Leila was the first to find Makia.

    “Lady Makia..!”

    “Uh…”

    Makia and Leila noticed.

That the lightning contained in that dust cloud was Amel’s power.

That the one who caused that explosion was none other than Amel.

    “She possessed such power.”

    That such power existed.

She was ashamed of her past self, who had thought she was at the pinnacle as a Territory Owner, not knowing such an existence.

The overwhelming force of an irresistible presence.

She couldn’t shake the feeling of becoming a mere trifle.

It was then, as she blankly looked up at the dust cloud.

    Bang-!!!!!!!!!

    It burst once more.

    This time it erupted.

    Pshwaaaaaaak-!!!!!!!

Something soared up and covered the dust cloud, and the slowly moving dust cloud became actively mixed.

    How much time had passed?

    The eruption stopped.

    Silence fell over the city.

    Not just the lord’s castle.

    The entire city.

An overwhelming silence, felt for the first time, descended on the entire city.

People who belatedly came to their senses were bewildered and panicked as they looked at the dust cloud.

    Screams erupted.

As if the city was regaining its senses, screams began to erupt from various places.

The lord’s castle was no exception.

    Makia scolded those people.

    “Calm down!!!”

“Are you telling us to calm down after seeing that?!”

A human man who used to be the lord.

He was frightened and looked for his vassals.

He said to run away from that.

“-, Are you not bothered by seeing that! Before that, that thing covers Fursten, we have to run away..!”

“That is what our king has done. It is absurd for inferiors to be surprised by the power of their master and run away. Even you, who were supposed to be the owner of this place, are talking about running away.”

“Ki, king? …That woman did that?”

“Watch your mouth. She is the king.”

“…Hi, Her Majesty’s power, is that what it is. How can I believe that?”

    Makia released her killing intent.

She looked up at the dust cloud again.

“Her power is transmitted from that cloud.”

    Rumble.

    Rumble.

Lightning streaked through the dust cloud.

    Rumble.

    The frequency increased.

    Rumble.

    Rumble.

    Kugwagwang.

A huge shadow appeared in the dust cloud, drawing a giant.

    Everyone gasped once more.

    It had a human form.

    It wasn’t an illusion.

As it straightened its chest as if rising, Makia immediately noticed.

    The breasts were large.

It was funny that she recognized it by that.

    That was Amel.

The shadow of Amel rising from the dust cloud.

    Lightning crackled from her body.

As if pulling something out of the ground, one hand of the shadow was lifted from below.

She swung her sword down at what she had taken out.

    Kugwaga-gaga-gaga-!!!!!!

A blue trajectory swept past the side of the dust cloud, and the aftermath of the sharp impact soared like a barrier and stretched out.

    It had been cut.

    Something.

And Amel held that something in both hands.

She created strong lightning in both hands.

The lightning that burst from both hands spread as if it spread throughout the dust cloud.

The dust cloud was gathered as if it was being held in the giant hand of lightning.

The dust cloud that covered the sky disappeared.

    Under the clear sky.

    A giant of blue radiance.

Compared to the shadow engraved in the dust cloud, the giant, who was small enough to be cute, reduced its size and soon hid its appearance.

    She understood.

    This was a tool.

Amel rolled the marble placed on her palm.

Such an information window was floating above the marble.

    [Devourer]

    It was a Great Demon.

The identity of this marble was a Great Demon.

Thanks to the output pulled up by [Devourer], she was able to draw up [Electricity] with enough power to kill [Devourer].

She used [Execution Sword] as a finishing move to cut it in half, but as expected.

    ‘Both are labeled as Devourer.’

    [Devourer]

    [Devourer]

    Two Great Demons.

It would be a lie if she said she didn’t feel a chill down her spine.

    And she realized.

[Devourer]’s existence was the same as [Doll]’s.

[Doll] had an immortality that could never be killed even if it was cut, fried, or stirred. She felt like she was being unfairly oppressed by the laws of the world.

But now that she could delve deep into magic and see through it, she knew.

    This was a machine.

    It was a magical device.

It was a type of golem, and it was an ultra-ultra-highly developed form. In scientific terms, it would be like a vending machine and a CPU.

    That’s right.

    This Great Demon called [Devourer].

    It wasn’t a living thing.

[Sword God]’s eyes saw [Devourer] as just a tool that magically interpreted what it swallowed and spat it back out.

It was artistically designed to resemble life activities, but she could say with certainty.

The person who made this was a god.

    Including a laudatory meaning.

Even though it was in a game, the creator who created such a work of art in physical laws that rivaled reality deserved to be praised as a god.

There was a stumbling block called magic, but if the situation was given, it meant that she could create the same thing in reality.

She had created a magical CPU. She had invented the first magical computer.

    “Awesome.”

    [Devourer] had a will.

That meant it was similar to AI.

    She didn’t know well, but,

She knew that the design of the CPU was done on a nano scale. To design that blueprint, designers had to lay out the blueprint on a floor that would be hundreds of square feet and design the circuit.

It was similar to the shock when she first realized that the brain of a phone that anyone could easily have had that kind of scale.

    Moreover, this was magic.

A computer made of magic power.

    That was what magic was.

It was a work sculpted with such detail and precision that it could be viewed that way.

Amel held [Devourer] in her hand and suddenly realized.

‘My hands… why are they like this?’

    They were bluish.

    No, they were just blue.

    They were shining.

The blue fluorescence was magical light, and when she looked down, her whole body was like that.

It was like when she unfolded [Sword God].

    No, it really was.

    Amel had become [Sword God].

No wonder she could see magic power so well.

She felt that the [Sword God] she had used before was different.

‘I had to concentrate back then.’

She had to concentrate to maintain it.

She had to constantly maintain the supply of magic power needed to maintain [Sword God].

If she didn’t, she couldn’t maintain [Sword God] and would return to her original body. [Sword God] was powerful, but it was just as tiring.

The cost-effectiveness wasn’t good, but the reason she still used it was because the performance was overwhelmingly top-notch.

    But,

    But,

    Now,

It felt like her real body.

    “….”

    Her head buffered.

It took a few minutes to understand.

    She opened the stat window.

The power that enveloped her body was more abundant than the [Sword God] she had used before.

    It was understandable.

    [Level] [98]

Because the level was close to the highest point.

The [Sword God] she unfolded against Hong Joo-ah, the [Sword God] she unfolded against [Dream], and the [Sword God] she used against the Death Knights.

Even if she combined all of them, now was the highest point.

    The reason was this.

    [Devourer]

    [Devourer]

[Devourer], which had been split in half and became two, spewed out the swallowed power according to its own output.

The reason was probably that it absorbed electricity equivalent to the level of [Devourer], which was close to level 100, and converted it into magic power to create [Sword God].

    As evidence of that,

    [Devourer]

    Blue letters

The color of the letters of [Devourer] had changed.

If it was blue, how many levels difference was it?

The question put a brake on her unconscious thoughts, and her consciousness returned.

She regained her senses and was surprised to realize the level a few beats later.

    “Huh? Huh? What?”

    Level 98?

Huh? Wasn’t she only able to raise her level by climbing the tower?

    Huh?

    Huh?

    What is it?

    A bug?

It wasn’t because she caught the Great Demon, because [Devourer] was still alive and well.

She couldn’t say it was alive and well, but,

Amel gathered the surrounding dust with [Electricity] and compressed it at high pressure to firmly unite the two divided [Devourer] into one.

Even in the process of uniting, [Devourer] still returned [Electricity] with electricity.

    This power was very attractive.

    Amel ate [Devourer].

    Gulp.

    She swallowed it.

[Devourer], which had been swallowed, was a generator that produced electricity the more electricity was applied. Now [Devourer] was Amel’s power plant.

After swallowing it, she gradually dyed [Devourer] with her own magic power with [Possession].

    It wasn’t easy.

    But it was possible.

She slowly made it her own.

    That’s right…

    “It’s high.”

    Her body was giant-sized.

What she looked down on was the forest.

She reduced the size of her body that looked down on the forest.

It was easier than she thought.

As she consciously willed it to be so, her body automatically shrunk.

    [Level] [49]

    The level decreased.

    Or did it increase?

Amel turned her hands back and forth.

    Peach-colored ordinary hands.

They were thin and long and pretty.

She returned from the magical body that shone with blue light to her original body.

    It was simple.

    [Avatar Regeneration]

    Such a thing was possible.

But it was a little different.

The appearance had returned to the past, but the contents were still a mass of magic power. This original body rather felt like a shell.

She could return to the body of [Sword God] at any time if she wanted.

    “This is.”

    She returned.

    Fursten’s gate.

    There was no one.

    “…?”

    Except for one person.

As she entered the city through the wide-open gate, Makia welcomed her.

    “Welcome back?”

    “I’m back.”

    Silence.

It wasn’t like this when she left, but a strange atmosphere was spreading around.

    “Why is it so quiet?”

“The citizens have fled due to the earthquakes that have continued for several days and the explosion that occurred this time.”

“Fled… Did I fight so loudly? No, more than that, several days?”

“Yes, including the return time, it took 3 days and 10 hours and 24 minutes.”

    “3 days…”

It took longer than she thought.

“Judging by your appearance, you have accomplished what you wanted. Congratulations.”

    “Thank you.”

“And I heard that it is shameful for humans to be naked. It would be better to put something on before you leave.”

    “….”

    She was naked.

    She forgot.

There were no clothes in the inventory.

Instead, she took out armor and put it on.

It was black armor, and Lee Soo-joo, a hero and blacksmith, made it using Death Knight’s material items as materials.

If she changed the mode, she could change it to armor, leather, or cloth to wear.

Armor seemed a bit of an exaggeration, and cloth was like an assassin. Leather revealed her figure too much, but it was the most plain.

If she expressed each mode as a job, metal had the image of a knight, cloth had the image of an assassin, and leather had the image of an adventurer.

Because it was tailored to her body, there was a disadvantage that her chest was emphasized.

As she held it awkwardly, Makia asked.

“There won’t be any problems, right? Then let’s go to the castle. Everyone is waiting.”

    “Everyone?”

    “Yes. Everyone.”

    She returned to the castle.

The lord and knights gathered and lined up, and led Amel to the lord’s seat inside.

Amel sat on the lord’s seat along the path created by the nobles and knights of Fursten. Polia, Leila, and Molly were waiting at the lord’s seat, and when she sat down, Makia stood beside her.

Unable to speak in the solemn atmosphere, she quietly asked Makia.

    “What is everyone doing?”

She had entrusted herself to the atmosphere for now, but what kind of play was this?

“They want to hear the king’s words. Would you like to declare what you will do in the future?”

    “The future.”

When she looked at the state of the city with [Lord System], 20 percent of the citizens had left.

Most of them remained, but they were holed up in their homes.

When she looked at those in the lord’s castle through [Lord System], she could read their thoughts and feelings.

    Their thoughts were ‘….’

    Their emotions were ‘scared’

Almost all of them were like this.

The power game with [Devourer] was embarrassing to even call it a fight, but it seemed to have looked quite big from the outside.

Amel, who had only focused on [Devourer], didn’t know how great the surrounding damage was.

Most of the aftermath soared vertically, and the weak impact that spread horizontally was offset by the city’s barrier, but if it had burst on the ground, the surface of the earth would have been overturned along with the castle walls.

But only Amel could realize the power by seeing that sight, and others couldn’t even imagine the scale of destruction.

Only this much was shared by everyone.

The power that blew away the mountain range flew to the universe.

    Obedience.

There was no will to resist.

“I’m going to decide on the next destination.”

    Everyone listened to Amel’s declaration.

“I will occupy everything on the way to that place. This is for world peace, so I hope you will cooperate.”

The nobles and knights bowed their heads at the same time like a united creature.
