    Chapter 127.1

Chapter 127 – Rule 31. The Leader Restores Order in Academy City (29)

Ahn Woo-jin’s magic boasted the highest purity.

Having leaped to the next tier, his magic far surpassed that of others in the same realm.

    *Fwoooosh!!*

An immense surge of magic flowed through Woo-jin’s right arm, extending toward the sky and beyond.

    *Crack!!!*

Above the rift that filled the sky, stretching into space.

Layer upon layer, rifts of similar size piled up.

    And then…

    *ROOOOOOAR!!!!*

    “…!”

A chilling roar echoed from beyond the rift-filled sky, making Goliath look up in surprise.

    — ‘Ahn Woo-jin. Do you know that humanity’s first murder was committed with a stone?’

Goliath suddenly recalled the words he had once spoken to Woo-jin.

    A stone.

It was humanity’s first murder weapon.

    And as the Bible recounts,

David had also used a stone to bring down Goliath.

    Goliath’s chest trembled.

It was a moment of immense excitement.

    *RUMBLE!!!!*

At last, the object descending through the rift was revealed.

Its size was incomprehensible, filling the entire field of view.

A massive boulder, imbued with flames and teal lightning, enveloped in all of Woo-jin’s magic, was plummeting.

    It was a meteor.

Falling through the stacked rifts, one after another.

Continuously wrapped in spiraling electric magic, amplifying its force, gaining speed, and unleashing an overwhelming sense of power upon the world.

    Unique Ability: Space Domination.

    Ultimate Skill.

Magic Technique Type 5: *Celestial Meteor Strike.*

The meteor’s radiant glow illuminated the night sky. Goliath gazed at its grandeur, his mouth agape in awe before bursting into a hearty laugh.

“With an attack like that, you might destroy half the planet…!”

    “Then stop it.”

    “Haha!! You’re making this fun!!”

Goliath clenched his fists, unleashing all his magic.

    *Fwoooosh!!!*

His left fist held the power of a black hole.

    Unique Ability: Graviton Mastery.

    Ultimate Skill.

Magic Technique Type 5: *Event Horizon.*

Having exhausted much of his power against Se-Ah, its force had waned, but it didn’t matter.

He had put everything into this final strike.

    Goliath readied himself.

    ‘When was it?’

Amid the descending *Celestial Meteor Strike,* Goliath’s mind flashed back to the past.

The first time he stepped outside and looked back at Neo Seoul from afar.

He realized how small a world he had been living in.

Morality and laws, established by humans to maintain order within the fence of society, were merely supports for that confined space.

There was no need for complex thoughts.

The world was vast, and a single stone could kill.

That was the absurd truth of life.

Yet, how beautiful were those who sought social value, even in such a confined space.

    ‘My beloved world.’

    Goliath loved the human-built settlements.

He wished for Neo Seoul to become a better place.

But everyone’s sense of “rightness” differed, and without foresight, there was no knowing what consequences each “rightness” would bring.

Therefore, Goliath could not know if someone’s sense of justice would yield good outcomes. He could only watch over his beloved hometown.

    But one thing was certain.

If someone could overcome the adversities symbolized by Goliath’s overwhelming strength, then he could entrust everything to that person.

    So now, beloved world.

    ‘Prepare to welcome a hero…!’

Goliath leapt toward the meteor, engulfed in celestial lightning and flames.

Roaring like a beast, he swung his fist.

For a brief moment, sound ceased, and space distorted.

    And then.

    *BOOOOOOM!!!!*

The meteor shattered, absorbing Goliath’s punch.

However, due to its immense size, countless fragments scattered like branches, forming new meteors that rained down upon the outside world.

The collision of unfathomable amounts of magic unleashed a terrifying shockwave that ravaged Goliath and the surrounding area, turning it into a wasteland.

Numerous distant magical beasts met unexpected deaths.

The floating grounds scattered across the sky were blasted into pieces, and the shockwave even reached Neo Seoul, shattering the outskirts.

With everything expended, the magic of Woo-jin and Goliath slowly dissipated.

Swept up in the shockwave, they lost consciousness and fell into a vast crater.

    Explosions echoed worldwide.

Many things were destroyed, and loud noises filled the air.

    And then… time passed.

    …Plop.

The world under the mystical sky.

The once-lost silence slowly filled the air again.

    “…Ugh. Cough! Huff…”

Woo-jin regained consciousness and groaned in pain.
