    Chapter 125.2

    *Slash!*

Woo-jin pulled out the Iron Dragon Staff from his belt and swung it, revealing its short-staff form.

    *Crackle!*

A teal-colored electric current surged through the Iron Dragon Staff.

    *Boom!*

Goliath launched himself from the ground toward Woo-jin, his fist wrapped in a powerful gravitational wave.

Woo-jin created cracks along the path of Goliath’s punch and swung the Iron Dragon Staff at the same time.

    “!”

Goliath’s punch passed through the crack, and the swiftly swung Iron Dragon Staff pierced into his torso.

    *Crackle!*

    *Boom!*

The shockwave from the surging electricity sent Goliath flying. But Goliath casually crossed his arms and, still standing, landed on the ground.

    *Rumble!*

Though Goliath’s body continued to skid across the ground due to the strong impact, he maintained his upright stance, using gravity to keep himself anchored.

Eventually, Goliath came to a halt, still standing.

Woo-jin remained on guard, and Goliath stared back at him with a smiling face.

    *Crack.*

“What the hell are you two doing?!”

A crack appeared in the air, and Geumyang jumped out, shouting at them.

    “Kuhaha… Can’t you tell?”

“I can, that’s why I’m saying this! And besides, your body right now…!”

Ignoring Geumyang’s words, Goliath chuckled and took a combat stance.

“The only one left is you, Ahn Woo-jin. Do you know how eagerly I’ve been waiting for you to grow stronger!? Now you need to entertain me…!”

“We formed a temporary alliance, so shouldn’t we at least build up some respect?”

“Hahaha! I don’t care about that!!”

    Goliath’s golden eyes gleamed.

“I’ve decided that you’re more ‘righteous’ than boring trash like the Head Principal! So, I’m your last opponent…!”

Woo-jin’s eyes widened for a brief moment.

    He realized it now, finally.

    What Goliath’s true intention was.

“You little kids, what on earth are you…!”

    “Geumyang, leave.”

    “Huh?”

Woo-jin threw off his school jacket, rolled up the sleeves of his shirt, and revealed his muscular arms.

    He then advanced toward Goliath.

“I also thought this journey would end with you. We’ve finally made it here…”

    Woo-jin’s eyes burned with determination.

He recalled the conversations he had with Goliath and his knowledge of the original story.

    What was Goliath’s intention?

He was observing what came closest to being ‘justice’ for Neo Seoul.

And he had chosen to stand on the opposing side of whoever he believed embodied that justice, casting himself as the villain.

That’s why he became the most notorious villain of this city.

    The Sixth Sin.

Goliath had mainly targeted property damage, consistently engaging in acts of
terror, and had taken down those considered the strongest in Neo Seoul.
But he had never actually killed anyone.

As such, Goliath, who had cast himself as the villain…

If he couldn’t overcome the justice that defeated even him, then it wasn’t worth calling it justice. He likely intended to cultivate his own new world.

And he had been waiting for a true hero to appear who would stand against that world and defeat him.

    — ‘What I want is a hero. A hero of this city…!’

    Woo-jin recalled Goliath’s words.

    That’s right.

Goliath’s purpose was to see the birth of a hero who would defeat him.

    “You weren’t waiting for me.”

Goliath tore off his ragged top and laughed boldly.

    “I was waiting for you…!”

    Goliath had chosen Woo-jin.

So he intended to fight Woo-jin to confirm whether he was the hero he had been waiting for.

Considering Goliath’s current state, tainted by Se-Ah’s magic, it was clear that he didn’t have much time left.

Goliath intended to burn out in this final battle.

    Woo-jin accepted his earnest intent.

    *Slash!*

With his remaining hand, Woo-jin pulled out another short staff from his belt and swung it.

As the metal staff extended, it formed a three-section staff.

It was none other than the Lightning Rod.

Woo-jin’s teal eyes and Goliath’s golden eyes locked onto each other.

“Executing arrest on the spot. Offenders will be severely punished.”

    *Crackle!!*

Teal lightning erupted from both the Iron Dragon Staff and the Lightning Rod in Woo-jin’s hands as he assumed a combat stance.

    “…Let’s have one last fight.”

The undisputed strongest in Neo Seoul.

The end of the journey as the Disciplinary Committee Leader.

    Goliath.

Woo-jin sensed that this was the final destination.
