But… did you live up to the expectations you received from readers with such good grades?

If you ask yourself that question, I think the answer would be ‘no.’

First of all, the serialization cycle was getting longer. There were also unavoidable issues like family problems, but…

But I still think that if I had worked a little harder, the serialization cycle wouldn’t have been this long.

I can only say that I am truly sorry to my readers.

Second, was the story interesting? This is something I really need to reflect on…

The title is Cinderella, but in the end it becomes a story carried out by Catherine, the fairy godmother.

As the second half progressed, my mind was filled with thoughts like, “Where did Elise’s presence go?”

Catherine’s presence was so intense that the other children’s presence became air…

‘So was it really necessary to go to the harem?’

If you ask me, honestly, there wasn’t anything…

First of all, let’s talk about why this story went to a harem…

I need to go back to before I wrote this article.

As a lily lover, I was busy licking and burying my face in the lily articles, alternating between Ridibooks and Novelpia, just like any other day.

Is that why? One day I had a very vivid dream.

Cinderella’s crazy dream about eating her stepmother.

I have a dream that doesn’t stop at my stepmother, but also eats my older sisters!!

This is so awesome!!

The moment I woke up, I turned on my computer as if possessed by something and started writing down my dream.

The initial version of Stepmother was written without rest, about 6,000 characters long.

Yes, that’s right. The story of my stepmother started from my ugly dream.

So I polished up the initial version and uploaded the first episode to Novelpia, thinking of finishing it in about 10 episodes.

To be honest, I uploaded it with this in mind.

As soon as you think about it, the number of likes and views suddenly increases explosively.

Huh? Huh? Why?! Why?! Why on earth?! I couldn’t help but tremble at the rising tide.

And then I realized.

‘Ah… There are a lot of yellow-haired people like me here… You guys too… Are really hungry… To the point where you even read the strange things I wrote…’

So as soon as I wrote the first episode, I started organizing the plot. As some of you may remember,

The reason I took a day off that time was to organize the plot. At that time, I really didn’t have anything in mind.

So I glanced at the harem tag, wondering where I could increase the maximum amount…

Oh, I thought that if Cinderella and the children took turns eating the stepmother, the amount of content would definitely increase.

In the meantime, I also added a view of my favorite incestuous sisters…

So, I felt that the story wouldn’t be developed enough with just the children, and that’s when the character Catherine appeared.

Catherine had the fairy godmother concept from the beginning.

It’s boring to make things happen with magic! Then, let’s make a concept with a character who can make anything happen with money!

If she was a fairy godmother, she should have helped Elise, who was like Cinderella, but since the main character was a stepmother, she decided to just pretend she fell in love with her stepmother, and so the one-day plot was quickly completed…

Yes… that was Catherine’s birth.

When it actually unfolds, I can’t see any way for the kids to beat Catherine.

It just seemed like a professional boxer came into an elementary school playground fight and threw a punch.

So Catherine took a back seat for a while and said let’s prioritize the children… but in the end, Catherine ended up taking over the story.

I think I understand why the writers say that as the story progresses, the characters move on their own.

No matter how hard I tried to twist the plot, I just couldn’t stop Boxer Catherine.

I was just an elementary school student who was eventually knocked down by Catherine…

So it’s really unfortunate… The word ‘Cinderella’ in the title barely remains in the main story.

The importance of children has also disappeared…

I don’t think the readers wanted this ending…

I’m really sorry I couldn’t come up with a conclusion other than this…

Still, I think I tried my best to conclude it as neatly as possible.

I don’t know if it will satisfy the readers’ eyes…

Still, the wedding ceremony I had planned with everyone from the beginning has come to an end like this.

I really enjoyed writing it.

Most of the money I made writing this article went into making the cover.

I also had a lot of fun writing this novel.

The excitement when the cover comes out.

Every time I read comments saying how happy you were with the cover, the corners of my mouth went up to the ceiling.

This is the first time in my life that I’ve received fan art.

Really, really, without you all, my stepmother would not have been able to come this far.

And the most important side story….

I’m really sorry, but… I don’t think I can write a side story that long.

For now, I’m preparing my next work, so I’d like to focus on that.

This time, I’m planning the plot to tone down the high-level stuff a bit and focus on reverse harem, parenting, and pure love.

Part 1, Part 1.5, Part 2. I’m thinking of making the story a little longer than the stepmother’s.

I thought I’d polish this up a bit and write a real reverse-key piece that starts with parenting.
