Harmon Repair Shop.

The two-story building is built around Harmon’s residential building and personal research lab at the center.

Eight turrets, manufactured and installed by Harmon himself, facing inward and outward at each corner of the building, and CCTVs that even the Guild of Guilds are unaware of, fill every blind spot, creating a perfect surveillance system.

This surveillance system is operated by Harmon and Undine, and has several traps, including turrets hidden in the walls, that were learned from Ian Black’s basement, in case any intruders enter.

A laser point trap that precisely destroys and incapacitates a person’s nerves.

    A simple wire trap.

A barrier that blocks the path and seals off enemies.

Security robots that roam the passageways that humans cannot pass through, monitoring the mechanics and employees and attacking them in case of emergency.

Harmon was able to fully display his skills, which he had not been able to do due to budget, material supply, and space issues until now. As if he was going crazy, he created all kinds of things that he had only created blueprints for but could not make.

Among them, there are two things that Harmon is putting the most effort into.

    One is training mechanics.

Harmon had a natural talent. He had a chance, but he learned how to use it, how to hack into machines with it, how to take it apart, reassemble it, and build it from scratch.

The mechanics didn’t have Harmon’s talent, insight, or mechanical sense, but many of these skills could be learned with practice.

That’s because there’s no one to teach it.

That’s why Harmon started gathering guys with decent skills and teaching them.

A man who knows grace. A man who is loyal. A man who is honest.

Even later, he gathered people who seemed more likely to be loyal to Harmon than to the Guldari Guild, taught them techniques and treated them as disciples. If they weren’t, he used his technical skills to threaten and intimidate them, treating them as slaves and making them his employees.

    “Oh my.”

So it’s been a month since I started my life at the repair shop.

“Has the boss arrived at work?”

    “Good morning, boss!”

Harmon proudly took over as the owner of the repair shop.

“Okay. Let’s take a look at what I told you to do yesterday?”

    “Yes! Here it is!”

Harmon began to delegate simple requests to his students, often as homework.

Checking that homework every morning started Harmon’s routine.

    “Yes! Everything is ready!”

    “Yeah.”

Harmon reviewed the homework assigned by his five disciples.

    “Hmm. Peanut.”

    “Yes!”

“The welding was done pretty well.”

    “Ah! Thank you!”

Praise what needs to be praised.

    “Hey. The fuse blew.”

    “Ah.”

“Did you check this properly? You just did it roughly and went to get a drink or something?”

    “Oh, no!”

“Let’s do it well. I’ll cut down on your salary, okay?”

    “Ugh… !”

I’ll mess with what needs to be messed with.

    “Take this kid’s salary, Peanut.”

    “Ah! Thank you!”

    “Ugh! That kid.”

    I’ll give you a prize.

However, if a disciple’s personality changed, such as when he thought he had seized an opportunity or became arrogant because he thought he had become a mechanic disciple sponsored by the guild, he would mercilessly kick him out and bring in a new disciple.

Such abandoned disciples thought of harming or interfering with Harmon, but Harmon quietly eliminated such people and eliminated them.

It was very useful for weapons experiments on humans.

However, if there is one thing that is regrettable.

‘So they can only make small weapons because they don’t want to be noticed.’

Small robots in the shape of mice or bugs that roam the secret passages of the garage. Or drones that Harmon personally creates and uses.

    That’s all.

If Harmon decides to create a powerful weapon and gains power, the Guldari Guild will naturally become hostile to Harmon.

The Guldari Guild, which has a skilled scavenger guild stationed in a humanoid, has grown in size since the construction of the second wall, solidifying the village’s internal structure.

We gathered together anyone with a little bit of size, guts, and talent to form a group of collectors.

The town’s population also grew to over 1,000 by absorbing wanderers from the surrounding wilderness, from whom they recruited 200 scavengers.

If the collectors were simply combatants, it might be inefficient to operate at this ratio, but the collectors are workers, producers, soldiers who protect the village, and combatants.

The more the better, the collector.

It would be best if everyone in the village was a collector.

That’s why the Guldari Guild gave each of its executives a scavenger unit, just like Harmon raised mechanics, and began mass producing scavengers, and through them began to take over all the machines, ruins, etc. in the surrounding wilderness.

    Collector.

They are monsters who fight machines with human bodies made of bones and flesh, even though they hold mechanical weapons in their hands.

In the case of Isaiah, he can single-handedly handle monster mechanical weapons like Tigris that weigh several tons.

Harmon had no intention of doing anything recklessly against such monsters.

‘I guess I should make my body stronger first? I was able to recreate Undine’s skin by modifying the food production machine that the Guldari Guild gave me.’

It may seem absurd to create artificial skin for a humanoid using food-making technology, but it wasn’t all that difficult since similar skeletal technology was used.

    Humanoid skin.

It is resistant to fire and electricity, impervious to poison, and when needed, it stores heat inside the device to keep it stable in cold places, and in hot places, it changes its structure to easily release heat, making cooling easier.

Old-fashioned items like spears and swords are ineffective, and it is not difficult to stop bullets, and viruses and germs do not penetrate either.

If Harmon could just change his skin to that of a humanoid, his survival skills would increase significantly.

Although some people are reluctant to have machines implanted in their bodies, Harmon didn’t care much. He already has several machines built into his body to help him with strength and other things.

‘I want to try the transplant experiment on someone other than me.’

Harmon walked around the garage, thinking about the humanoid skin floating in the special solution.

The garage was full of five disciples, staff serving customers, and customers bringing in items that needed to be repaired.

A person who picks something up from a garbage dump and asks for it to be fixed.

A collector who comes to repair broken equipment.

A person who comes to ask for repair of a broken prosthetic arm or leg.

Or even someone who wants to tell you to make something you want.

Our customer base is diverse, and most of them are simple fixes that occur when dirt or dust naturally gets inside the device in daily life, or when internal parts become warped or terminals come off due to impacts received by the device, so we leave that to our disciples.

He left the more important repairs to his Peanut disciples, while Harmon focused on repairing the more difficult ones or ones that his disciples couldn’t yet tackle.

    ‘Wow, is work this easy?’

It was difficult at first when he was training, but after completing the repair shop, he spent most of the month training his disciples, and thanks to that, the disciples had gained some skills and took a lot of work, so Harmon had time left.

The remaining time is spent walking around the garage, doing research, or studying.

I couldn’t go into the basement or lab until it was time for the garage to close, because I never knew when I would be contacted or called.

    But it’s comfortable.

    Overwhelmingly.

For Harmon, who had been working hard on his own while running a repair shop and studying and researching while reducing his sleep, it was incredibly convenient to be able to study leisurely while resting during his usual work hours.

While enjoying such a peaceful and comfortable life.

    “Boss!”

I came to find Harmon at the Guldari Guild.

    “What’s going on?”

“Boss! Please take a look at this.”

They were scavengers who had recently returned from the wilderness, and their bodies were covered in injuries, but their eyes were sparkling, as if they had achieved quite a good result.

    “Hmm. Come inside.”

Harmon, who entered the room that was not for ordinary guests but for important guests, looked at what they were offering.

What they handed me was a square machine.

    “Hmm?”

“How is it, boss? Isn’t it great?”

    “Sure.”

There are traces of aging, but no major damage. The object still retains its original form from shortly after it was made.

“Found in the deepest part of the ruins.”

    “Hmm.”

    “What is this used for?”

It must be expensive! It must be worth a lot!

The collectors’ eyes were seen shining with anticipation.

That’s why Harmon was in trouble.

    ‘this.’

Harmon quickly took advantage of the opportunity to hack into the machine and look inside, and immediately realized what the machine was used for.

“Hmm. Well, it’s a good item.”

    “That’s right, right?!”

“But it’s hard to say this is good for the collector.”

    “Yes?”

    “Why?”

When the collectors asked with faces that showed they did not understand, Harmon made a troubled expression and then started the machine.

    Okay then.

    – Aaaah! Hah! Ugh! Huh! Huh!

    “… … .”

    “… … .”

A hologram was projected of a woman being hugged by a man and screaming.

    “This is a porn player.”

    “… … .”

    Silent collectors.

Harmon, who was watching them, patted them on the shoulder.

    “Well, that’s what happens sometimes.”

    “Ugh!”

“I thought I finally got it done!”

“Well, if you want to sell it, you can sell it for a high price. There are people who like this kind of thing.”

    “Ugh.”

The collectors hung their heads in frustration.

    – Hey, hey!

Harmon looked at the holographic player outputting a language from the distant past.

Well, that kind of thing happens too.
