Chapter Index

With that last call, the Chief of Staff departed.

Before leaving, the Chief of Staff unbound Club’s handcuffs and bamboo shackles, then explained to her that underwear and clothes were prepared in the drawer, along with simple rules for living here.

After the Chief of Staff departed, Club, left alone, first put on the prepared clothes.

The fact that both the underwear and clothes fit perfectly bothered her somehow.

How do they know my body size…

After that, having little else to do, she lay down on the bed.

She felt a lingering fatigue in her body. It was only natural, considering the intense time she had spent last night.

‘So I’ll be staying here for a while.’

She recalled Captain Rahye’s voice, her orders, which she had heard during the call a moment ago, and etched them into her mind.

Living here and having to obey Villain No. 13’s orders, those things were quite unpalatable, but there was nothing she could do.

Since it’s an order, I have no choice but to follow it.

She got up from the bed and looked around for a moment.

The room was a studio apartment size, neither too spacious nor too cramped.

The wallpaper felt fresh and soft, not stuffy, and along with simple furniture, there was a pretty potted plant, like an herb, growing.

However, despite everything, she couldn’t help but feel stifled, probably because the window that should have been on that wall was covered with thick iron plates.

It was uncertain if even someone with the superhuman strength of Senior Spade could tear off those iron plates.

Furthermore, the only exit, it seemed, was locked from the outside, so Club had no way to open it.

Her handcuffs had been removed, but it probably made no difference whether they were on or off anyway.

Escape was impossible in such an environment.

According to the Chief of Staff, they might observe her actions and move her to another room.

‘Well, it’s not uncomfortable for sleeping. And I have time to myself.’

‘It’s good that I’ve been given a personal space. I can also think of ways to escape.’

Since it’s the Captain’s order, for now, I’ll live as they wish. Whatever command or instruction they give, I’ll follow it for now.

However, she had no intention of just lying there and waiting for her comrades to rescue her. Captain Rahye’s warning during the call earlier was only not to harm the villain side. She didn’t say not to escape.

Of course, the Chief of Staff, a member of the organization, wouldn’t have been able to say such a thing in front of the villain. It must have meant for her to understand the hidden meaning during their conversation and act accordingly.

    ‘So, for now.’

I’ll live here. I’ll do my best to win their favor and avoid suspicion.

By living this way, I’ll get used to this place, and then seize an opportunity to escape.

If possible, it would be good to gather as much useful information as I can. Then, I might be treated not just as a kidnapped person, but as someone on a ‘deep cover investigation’ or something similar.

Isn’t it said that a crisis is the greatest opportunity? I have no intention of just being satisfied with falling and getting back up. Since I’ve fallen anyway, I’ll even pick up the 500-won coin that dropped on the floor.

Thinking that way, she felt somewhat motivated. Her life here, she would do her best.

    …………………… …………. ……

Villain No. 13 visited later that afternoon.

Apparently, he had already heard from the Chief of Staff what had happened, what kind of call he had with Rahye, and so on.

He immediately held out something to Club. It was clothing.

    “Change into these.”

    “…What is this?”

“Work clothes. They’re the perfect attire for what you’ll be doing from now on.”

    Perfect attire, but this is….

She had much she wanted to say in many ways, but there was nothing she could do. Club accepted the clothes with a sigh.

“…? Why are you standing there? I’m going to change.”

    “Why should I leave?”

“No, I said I’m going to change.”

Club growled, but Villain No. 13 merely calmly pulled over a chair beside her and sat down.

“Change, I said? In front of me.”

    “No…!”

“What are you acting like this for now? After spending such a hot time together yesterday. Do you know how much I’ve seen of your naked body? I observed every nook and cranny very thoroughly.”

    “…….”

Club’s face turned red. Her lips protruded in displeasure. But at Villain No. 13’s continuing words, Club ultimately couldn’t argue any further.

“It’s an order, Club. Change here. Your esteemed Captain said to obey any of my commands, any embarrassing request, for now, didn’t she?”

She wanted to rage, telling him not to speak of the Captain with his mouth, but she held back.

Anyway, his words were true. She had received such an order from Captain Rahye. Even if the commands were somewhat embarrassing and humiliating, she was told to obey them for now.

Ultimately, Club began to undress in front of Villain No. 13 with a sigh. With bad taste, he had even picked out the underwear. Thin, lacy underwear that seemed almost transparent. The coverage was also very small.

She tried to pull the panties up as much as possible, but being low-rise underwear, more than half of her backside was exposed no matter what. If she bent her body slightly, it felt as though even that embarrassing part of her bottom would be revealed.

As she hesitated, feeling embarrassed by the type of panties she was wearing for the first time, she saw Villain No. 13 grinning while watching her.

Annoyed by that fact, she tried her best not to show her embarrassment as she put on the remaining clothes.

Over the panties, she put on a garter belt and stockings, then a fluttery, one-piece-like dress over that, and finally, an apron and a head dress….

Thus, she put on all the clothes he had given her.

What she wore was what’s commonly called a maid outfit.

Both the underwear and this outfit fit her perfectly, as if custom-made, which somehow made her even more angry.

“…Excuse me, I’ve wondered this since I saw the clothes prepared in the room, but how do you know my clothes size?”

“Because I measured it myself. While you were asleep.”

    “…….”

Had he measured her size by running a tape measure all over her body while she was unconscious and deeply asleep? And her naked body at that.

    ‘Perverted bastard.’

Imagining that scene made her furious and angry again. But there was nothing she could do. It was Captain Rahye’s order not to resist.

“Yeah. I picked it out, but it suits you well. Your hair is short and your chest is small, so when you wear a t-shirt and pants, you look a bit like a pretty boy, you know? Now that you’re wearing something fluttery, you finally look like a woman. Congratulations.”

    “…I’ll kill you. Seriously.”

    “That, you’re still wearing it?”

Villain No. 13 said, pointing at Club’s neck area.

Around her neck was still the red collar Villain No. 13 had fastened on her the previous day.

After she was moved here, it had been removed once while they washed her body, but she had put it back on herself, even though Villain No. 13 hadn’t specifically instructed her to.

“…That woman told me not to forget to wear it since you gave it to me… to always wear it except when washing or sleeping….”

That ‘woman’ referred to the Chief of Staff.

Villain No. 13 was grinning broadly, seemingly quite satisfied with Club wearing the collar herself. Club couldn’t bear to look at his face and turned her head away in disgust.

“Anyway, come out now. I’ll tell you what your job will be as a temporary comrade.”

“I am not a comrade. Don’t call me that. I will follow your instructions because of the Captain’s order, but I will never, ever become a villain’s comrade.”

“Then should I call you my flunky?”

    “…Call me whatever you like.”

Club, looking somewhat displeased, followed Villain No. 13 out into the hallway.

    ***

    “…This is absurd.”

Club muttered blankly, holding a mop in one hand.

A long hallway stretched before her.

“What’s absurd? I’ll be feeding and housing you from now on, so you have to do some work, don’t you? Or were you planning to just laze around in your room during your free time?”

Beside Club stood Villain No. 13, also holding a mop. The full-fledged attire, like the bandana on his head, the apron, and the rubber gloves on his hands, made her want to say many things in various ways.

Club’s first command, her first task as a temporary member of the villain organization Abyss, was, unbelievably, cleaning the base.

“It’s a 5-story building above ground and 3 stories underground. Four of us are using it, but the problem is I’m the only one in charge of cleaning. It’s really good that I’ve gotten more help just in time.”

For a moment, Villain No. 13 dropped his usual relaxed and cunning demeanor, his face becoming somewhat cynical and worn out by life.

Club, for her part, had so, so, so many things she wanted to say, but she had no idea where to even begin.

Most of all, what made her furious was that the villainous bastard who had subdued her was, behind the scenes, a mere handyman, bogged down by daily base cleaning and other odd jobs.

A villain, of all things. A villain!

“Anyway, that’s how it is, so I’m counting on you. I’ve told you where the cleaning tools are and how to clean, so you can do it on your own, right? You don’t need to clean every single room, just clean what’s visible for now.”

After giving additional instructions, Villain No. 13 left Club behind and departed.

He said he would be cleaning the upper floors, places that couldn’t be entrusted to Club. Besides, it was too large and extensive a task to assign to just one person like Club.

Since she was now serving as a mercenary for a villainous organization, to be honest, she had expected something more thrilling and spectacular….

‘Even if not that… something a bit, what was it….’

    Lewd… things… those kinds of orders… I had thought a little….

    “Ugh, what am I thinking…!”

Club shook her head to dismiss the useless thoughts that had surfaced and gripped the mop tightly.

She was a promising, talented hero. She was confident she could handle any task well. And cleaning was something she often did at the base anyway… so, she was used to it.

And so, Club immediately set about the task given to her. The noble work of cleaning the villains’ base…!
