I can be happy even if I live the same routine every day. Wasn’t I unable to do that in my previous life?

The feeling of dying day by day was a horrible feeling no matter how I packaged it. It was even worse when that space was the military, which I didn’t even want.

Even if today is a day that I spend in vain, it is the tomorrow that I longed for so much as I was dying. My life is so good right now.

But liking and disliking something and being bored are two different things. After all, being peaceful means being monotonous.

I’d rather have life be like a monorail than a roller coaster, but I can’t help but get bored if it’s just a monorail.

And just because you’re sitting on a monorail doesn’t mean you can’t look out the window and enjoy the scenery. Just like that, just because you’re at home with Hamshik doesn’t mean you have to be bored.

So what can we do at home? Well, since we are small, we can make better use of the limited space we have.

Just following the hamster crawling around in this spacious Narin house would be enough to make the day enjoyable.

But it’s a bit boring to just do that, so I thought about things I could do at home by myself.

As for why he’s alone, Hamster only comes to me when he needs something. Is it because hamsters are independent animals?

When I think about how he jumped in to save me when I looked like I was drowning, I think he thinks that family is family.

Anyway, what I found was, watching TV, reading books, playing games, that kind of stuff.

It might be fun to draw or sculpt, but if I can’t do those, it’ll be hard to have fun.

Of course, Narin is kind, so I think she’ll like whatever I make. She’ll compliment me, saying things like “I drew it well” or “I made it well.”

But when I tried drawing in my past life, I realized that I don’t have much talent for art.

If I put in the time and practice, it should increase, but do I have that much time…?

In my previous life, I couldn’t do anything that would be long-term because I was going to die anyway, so I only did things that would be useful for the moment. But now, isn’t that different?

Okay, let’s draw. Let’s try sculpting. Let’s try making music… Can you do that? This seems like it would be really hard, since you have to create something out of nothing.

Well, let’s try everything anyway. Since I’m having fun ordering things, I’ll buy some stuff with the grant and try out different things.

But those things would fall into the category of studying anyway. Then, wondering what else there was to do, my eyes turned to my cell phone.

You can watch YouTube videos or play games on your phone. There are many ways to kill time.

Of course, I don’t plan on spending my next life just playing. But still, when I need to cool my head, there are games I used to play in my previous life.

I couldn’t play RPG games in my previous life. I thought that there was no point in reading the game story and developing the character, because I didn’t know when my condition would suddenly worsen and I would die.

It’s a bit hard to touch it now for a different reason. If I’m not going out with Narin, I’ll be home all day, and I don’t think I’ll care about anything else if I play games like that.

But I didn’t feel like playing a one-shot arcade game like I did in my previous life.

Even if it’s a simple operation, it’s a bit difficult for this body to do. Even if others can do it by just moving one finger, if I try to do it, it becomes a full-body workout.

Wouldn’t rhythm games be the best? For me, they’d probably be closer to exercise than gaming.

After much deliberation, I decided that if I was going to do it anyway, wouldn’t it be better to do it with Narin? That was it.

You said you also received a doll from a game event. I don’t know what the odds of winning are, but since you said it was expensive, you must be playing the game diligently.

So I took a deep breath, woke up, thought about it carefully in the morning, and asked Narin when she came out after washing up.

“Narin-i, what game are you playing? You said you were playing a game last time.”

“Huh, huh? Games? Yeah, I do play them… … . Why?”

“I want to do it too. I’m bored being home alone.”

“Oh, that’s it. It’s a magical girl collection game. You said earlier that all the soldiers were replaced by magical girls, right? It’s a game where you create characters based on newly enlisted magical girls and collect them. They say all the profits are donated to the magical girl unit.”

    “Aha.”

Since it’s a collection game, I don’t think there’s much to do. I also thought that my predecessors and successors would have done the same, so I was secretly interested.

“I usually play for about 10 minutes a day, and there are seasonal events and things to do, so I can play leisurely. There is no risk of game addiction.”

“When you get to work later, I’ll install it and try it out.”

“Hehe, okay. When you get off work, tell me your ID. I’ll send you a friend request.”

If I could get something by spending time on it, I might not have even dreamed of something like a painting because I was so absorbed in it while I was at home.

And when I want to exercise, I try playing rhythm games with Hamshik. Of course, I don’t know if Hamshik will listen to music and dance.

Anyway, I felt like this morning was flowing peacefully as well. It was a morning that gave me a vague sense of stability that it would continue to be like this in the future.

I followed Nalin, who was about to leave, to the front door and saw her off. Hamshik also followed Nalin and I and crawled to the shoe rack.

I waved to Narin while climbing on top of Hamshik because it would be difficult if Hamshik ran away.

“Have a nice trip! See you in the evening!”

“Yeah, it’s cold, so go inside. Oh, I never thought I’d say something like my dad. Hmm, at this hour, I could leisurely buy some coffee and go.”

Narin took her phone out of her pocket, checked the time, and muttered. As she did so, something that had been in her pocket fell to the floor with a thud.

As soon as the door opened, Narin quickly ran out and closed it. It was probably because Hamshik couldn’t escape, but because of that, she couldn’t even say that she dropped anything.

“Narin-ee, unnie! What did you drop? ”

Unfortunately, my voice was not heard beyond the iron gate. While I was screaming, Hamshik approached the thing that had fallen to the ground, sniffing at it.

It was a USB. When I got closer, I could smell almonds, so I guess that’s why Hamshik was interested.

After taking a bite, Hamshik realized that it wasn’t edible and quickly lost interest in the USB and threw it away.

“Ah, don’t just throw that. You have to put it down carefully.”

Whether I paid attention or not, Hamshik left to do his own thing. Either turn the wheel or gnaw through a box to make a hiding place.

Hamshik, it doesn’t matter if you lose interest in USB or not, but I am a person who knows what USB is. No, I am not a person.

Anyway, if you bring something like this to a normal company, you can guess that there is very important information there.

And without this, I would get scolded by the manager who is taller than me but is still short.

“Oh my gosh, that won’t do! Sister Narin, pick up the phone… … !”

As soon as I realized that, I immediately called Narin, but maybe because I was outside, I couldn’t hear the ringtone very well. If it was a vibration, maybe because my coat was thick, I couldn’t feel it well.

Narin didn’t answer the phone. This would be a big problem.

Oh, there is a way. A way that you can do while hoping that Narin’s ears will be good.

I started to climb up, holding onto the curtains, just like Hamsik did yesterday. If Hamsik can climb up, then so can I.

If I just held onto the crossbar with both hands and climbed up, I could reach the window frame.

It wasn’t a sliding window, but rather a window that opened diagonally when pushed forward, so it couldn’t be opened very wide. But a hole big enough to let sound through would be enough.

Although cold air was coming in, I was able to endure the warm air rising from the floor thanks to the boiler.

So I waited for Narin to come out of the building, and when I saw her, I raised my voice at the top of my lungs.

    “Narin-eee! You dropped this!”

But maybe it was because the distance was too far. Even when I was outside with the iron gate between us, I couldn’t hear my voice, so it seemed like my voice couldn’t reach me at all from this distance.

    “Narin’s sister!”

Even though she called desperately, it was still the same. Perhaps because the ground was slippery due to the snow, Narin didn’t even put her hands in her pockets for fear of falling.

What should I do? If I do this, Narin will get in big trouble at work. While I was worrying about that, a pure white dove flew in, fluttered, and murmured.

A pigeon that sits on the corner of the window that was tilted thanks to me, making a sound like its tongue was rolling off.

    “Thick and thick.”

“Oh, hello, pigeon. What should I do? Sister Narin left this behind.”

    “Hurukkururur.”

I said it because I wanted to vent, even though you probably wouldn’t understand it anyway. The pigeon kept tapping the window with its beak.

Coincidentally, the beak was pointed at a USB. It looked as if he was definitely going to deliver it, so I asked again with a half-hearted heart.

“Are you going to deliver it to me? Really?”

    “Bold and thick.”

It really was making sense. The pigeon was nodding its head.

    “Wow, you’re smart! Eek.”

Just as I was admiring it, something grabbed the back of my neck. It was none other than Hamsik.

I don’t even know when he came up, but Hamshik closes the window as if he doesn’t like the fact that I’m talking to pigeons.

And he stared at me as if he was scolding me. But if I keep going like this, Narin will get in big trouble.

    So I convinced Hamsik.

“Hamshik-ah. This pigeon friend is supposed to deliver this to Na-rin-ni. So let’s ask her a favor. Maybe she’ll do it if you give her some almonds.”

… … What am I doing? You won’t understand anyway, so what’s the point of trying to persuade me like this?

But Hamshik listened to what I said and stayed still, then suddenly jumped down from the windowsill.

Then he went into the house, put a few almonds we had buried together in his mouth, and came back.

“Wow, Hamshik, you understand what I’m saying, right? Alright, Pigeon. If you send us to Na-rin, I’ll give you almonds. How about it? Doesn’t it sound like a good deal?”

    “Bold.”

The pigeon nodded repeatedly and moved aside so that we could come out the window.

Okay, now we just have to go out the window and get on the pigeon’s back.

I know from my experiments while living over there that I won’t get hurt no matter how high I fall. But I’m not a hamster, so I have to be careful.

I squeezed my way through the slightly open window, held on tightly to the window frame, and grabbed Hamshik.

Then Hamshik followed me and crawled out. The pigeon slowly turned around so that we could get on its back.

“Okay, you have to ride carefully so that your pigeon friend doesn’t get hurt.”

So I put the hamster on the pigeon’s back first, and I followed behind. I held the USB in my arms carefully so that it wouldn’t fall, and with one hand I held the pigeon just enough to not strangle its neck.

Then the dove spread its wings and flew out the window.

I’ve never been on an airplane in my past life, so I’ve never flown before, although I’ve been on one when I was with the old men over there.

I cheered, rejoicing at being far from the ground.

    “Wow! Hamshik, we’re flying!”

    “Keeek!”

Hamshik also screamed in excitement. Although excitement is good, the cold wind was too strong while flying.

    “Ugh, but it’s cold.”

So I muttered, and Hamshik quietly covered my back.

Is he trying to understand what I’m saying and warm me up? Or is he hugging me because he’s scared too?

I don’t know about that, but it felt really nice to be soft and warm.

“Okay, Pigeon Friend. Let’s go find Sister Narin! She disappeared while we were hesitating!”

You can just enjoy flying around like this and look for Narin.
