    “Haah, haaaah. Haaaat…. Hoo… Honestly… I can’t… any… more….”

Not even an erection, let alone ejaculation. My lower back feels like it’s going to snap; I can’t move anymore. My hands and feet feel numb, like the blood isn’t circulating. No matter how much I heal, the accumulated fatigue won’t go away. If healing were truly that omnipotent, the number of clergy wouldn’t have dwindled so much. My trembling legs feel like they’ll collapse at any moment. My whole body is drenched in sweat—no, in every bodily fluid a human can produce—so sticky it’s beyond description.

It’s at least ten times more exhausting than when I… you know… all the elves in the elven city of Chinhahra. Even if I didn’t do it all by myself.

    “You… you did well.”

Kira, having witnessed the entire ordeal, can only offer words of encouragement. The overwhelmingly pungent smell of female pheromones, nearly paralyzing her sense of smell, and the two orcs collapsed like beasts, speak volumes.

Normally, Kira would be drooling, all over herself, lusting after him, but this is different.

This was absolutely not something to be treated lightly. The overly comfortable life I’ve been living has made me complacent, and it hurts. Just a few months ago, I lived with a strong sense of purpose to survive, but it seems I lost that survival instinct.

Seeing him struggling so desperately alone… it’s making me feel a maternal instinct I didn’t know I had. I feel sorry for him, anxious, and driven to protect him. My heart races at the sight of his limp, spent member.

    “And you, Kira-ssi. Hoo… I… I can’t calm down….”

Semen has soaked the entire floor, making it impossible to clean unless the floorboards are replaced. Even insects would drown in it. For a while, a terribly strong male scent will dominate, so potent that any female who passes by thoughtlessly will involuntarily release vaginal fluid.

    Kira swallows her saliva.

“You… you did it? Sit down first. Breathe slowly. That’s right, like that.”

“I think so…. I did my best. Now there’s nothing left to do but wait….”

My lower back aches intensely. This isn’t the kind of muscle pain that will disappear in a day or two. This lower back pain is something that will require at least a week’s rest. Being incapacitated at this point in time will cause nothing but serious trouble.

“…So that’s what happened. That time too, it was the succubus’s doing, wasn’t it?”

A similar experience flashes back to me. My anger rises, but my body is too exhausted to even get mad. I have no idea what to think or do now, all I want to do is lie in bed for at least two days.

“Yes. Get some rest. We—no, I’ll take care of the rest.”

    “Hoo…. Still, my duties are….”

My body is exhausted, but I can’t afford to be careless.

The attacks from the Fried Church are one thing, but the succubus is a bigger problem. She could do anything now that we are exposed. Unlike the Fried Church, I’m the only one who can deal with her, and I can’t help but worry. I want to make more preparations, but we lack both time and manpower. Divine power comes from faith, but the skill to use divine power itself depends on innate talent. Meaning we cannot cultivate experts in an instant.

    “I want to… wash up….”

Kira nods. The priority is cleaning up this terrible mess. Doing it alone is impossible, so she quickly calls for help.

After bathing Erina, she moves her to the bedroom, cleans the room thoroughly. She couldn’t completely eradicate the smell but managed to make it reasonably clean. Thanking those who helped her, she securely ties up the collapsed orcs as well.

‘This is worrying. I was… too complacent. Yes, even demons shouldn’t be underestimated. I wasn’t seeing reality. His… his cock… was too delicious….’

Kira steadies herself. This is no time for leisurely laughter. She’s worried about the other church members active outside. If they’re attacked, they’re very likely to betray us like those orcs did.

‘That means the most important thing now is communication….’

Kira immediately seeks out Aries. If she had been more serious from the start, she would have at least prepared amulets. Though Aries may still be recovering from her fatigue, the need is urgent. She will understand. It’s not a personal matter; it’s for the church, for Erina.

This resolve suddenly changes the situation. Having information is key. Even an idiot will figure out how important it is if they are told.

Knock, knock. Kira knocks on Aries’s door.

“It’s me, Kira. Are you there?”

It’s quiet. An uneasy feeling creeps in, so she takes the doorknob and opens it; the handle smoothly turns, not locked.

She cautiously looks inside. The room is empty, only a rather messy room, seemingly long uncleaned. Though a bad feeling crosses her mind, it’s also possible she’s already awake. There’s a research facility on the first floor, so she might be there.

    “Oh? What is it?”

    “Ah, Aries. You’re awake.”

Aries, emerging from the bathroom, looks rather disheveled, but cute.

“I need to talk to you, is that alright?”

“…Alright, but what’s so important that you’re being so serious? This is the first time I’ve seen you this earnest.”

Aries sits down on the bed and gestures for Kira to sit beside her. Kira shakes her head.

“It’s not simple. Demons could attack any minute and the only person we can rely on right now to deal with it is….”

“Erina, of course. Do we have a plan? Wait a minute, I want to straighten out some of this too.”

While she was undeniably a genius when it came to magic, she knew almost nothing about demons. Even Erina didn’t know much considering that their existence was recorded as having been wiped out already.

Kira explains the recent events and what she’s thinking. Aries listens intently to her slightly disordered and chaotic explanation.

“In other words, you want to use my magic to turn the tide of the battle?”

“That’s the gist of it. Is it possible…?”

“I’m a genius, after all. Even if I weren’t, everyone will be able to use it soon. The dragon problem will soon be solved.”

“I’ve thought of a way. Using my amulet, we might be able to communicate without using precious energy.”

They both use their respective knowledge to discuss the issue. Because they are professionals in their respective fields, the conclusion comes quickly.

    “……So, there are two conditions.”

“That’s right. You can probably solve one, so that’s not a big problem, but….”

“We’ll only know when we try it. First, we have several people still at the church we need to take care of first.”

“How do we rally them all? Do I go find them one by one?”

Aries shakes her head, her messy hair bouncing. A mischievous grin appears on her face; it looks as if a good idea occurred to her. The church is so vast that finding them one by one would take all day.

“Well, think of it as a trial run. Follow me.”

They head to the research facility on the first floor. It’s just as messy as Aries’s room, and even has layers of dust. Considering how long she’s been away from home, it might have been normal, but her disorganized nature was pretty clear to see. It looked less like a research facility and more like a magical workshop, full of strange devices and unfamiliar liquids.

Aries took and combined some samples from the chaotic mess, and made them into powder.

“Well, depending on the scale of the magic, you need different preparations. What we need right now can be handled with my magic too, but…… it’s convenient to do it in advance.”

    “Oh…. A kind of talisman-like thing? Maybe I should learn magic too….”

It’s a half-serious comment. She understands it’s not an easy task.

“I’ll teach you sometime if we have the time. Oh, hand me that one there.”

“Only after this battle is over…no, that’s a line I shouldn’t say, right?”

    “Kkkkk. Ah, great! It’s done.”

She uses a specially made powder to draw a magic circle, a circle filled with strange characters.

“Say, why are magic circles always circles? Some people may not be able to draw circles well!”

“Ugh. That’s because I practiced till my arm ached, since I was a child. I still have nightmares about it, so let’s not talk about it….”

Her messy silver hair is now three times messier; her expression full of frustration, anger, and bewilderment.

Soon, she regained composure and explained a brief theory. The explanation was concise and simple as they were not equipped with much time before giving a description of what the magic was going to do.

“I can’t directly contact individuals yet because I need your help, but it’s a kind of amplification magic.”

“Wait, if that’s so, then cover your e-”

Too late. Aries’s loud shout almost blew out her eardrums.

But it certainly helped her gather everyone. Kira carried several charms and laid out a thin layer of energy so that Aries’s magic could work better.

“Alright, that’s one problem solved… next are the people already out on a mission…. Do you know how many there are?”

“I don’t know. Let’s ask the orc chief.”

“Then please ask him. I have something to ask Erina.”

“That smile suggests you’ve thought of something nice.”

    Aries’ expression becomes slightly ambiguous.

“Well…. I might need to get her approval before it can do anything.”

“She’ll probably be sleeping. It’s a matter worth waking her for…… right?”

After a moment of hesitation, she nods. They separate, each to their respective tasks.
