Meyer and Baron Kimberly’s painful day (2)

The orcs and kobolds who were about to be stabbed by the wooden spears screamed, but they were pushed by the monsters that kept coming and they continued to be skewered by the spears. However, the number of orcs coming over the barricade was greater than the number of deaths, and the rangers’ arrows were fired as soon as William’s hand was lowered.

About 400 arrows flew through the sky and killed the monsters, but the orcs could not be stopped with just one arrow, and the number of kobolds was too many.

And then a group of orcs and kobolds attacked the guards of Tessidanikana Territory.

Some kobolds tried to resist by throwing stones at the defenders, who began slaughtering the orcs with ease under Mayer’s command, but the rangers sniped them and immediately got an arrow stuck in their neck.

The defenders, who had finally annihilated the monsters, began clearing the battlefield according to Mayer’s instructions. After confirming and killing the monsters stuck in the barricade, they were taken out and used to reinforce the fence in front of the base, and the smelly kobolds’ corpses were loaded onto a catapult and thrown over the mountain range, hoping that the monsters would fall in to eat them.

“I think it will end easily at this rate”

However, Mayer’s expression was completely frozen, and the smiling guards looked at him quizzically.

William commanded the rangers and directed them to fight as efficiently as possible. However, the basilisks were not easily lured, and the number of regular defenders was petrified and the rangers also began to be injured little by little by the basilisks’ tails and claws.

Meanwhile, a ranger jumped out of the battle line and started taunting the Basilisks by shooting arrows in their eyes.

He hit the eyes of all the basilisks with an uncanny skill and ran away toward the plains, and the basilisks roared and chased McMorin.

“Fire right away!! The target is those two guys running rampant among the defenders!!”

As William instructed, the ballista was fired and flew towards the ogres.

The two ogres, preoccupied with slaughtering the defenders, were unable to avoid the ballista and were hit in the chest, killing them instantly.

The soldiers were happy, but their joy was short-lived. Two more ogres and a cyclops appeared, despair written on their faces.

Mayer’s provocative encouragement gave courage to the soldiers, and although only about 800 people with various injuries remained, they shouted and fought against the ogre.

“Die! These monsters!!”

About 30 people surrounded the ogre and entered with spears at once, but the ogre seemed to have received no damage and raised the huge club it carried as a weapon high in the sky.

The soldiers closed their eyes tightly, thinking they were dying, but they did not feel any pain, and carefully opened their eyes to look around.

“Soldiers!!! Cheer up!! We came running!! Reinforcements have arrived!!”

The ogre’s club strike was stopped by Cordelia’s sword, and from behind, the troops were rapidly throwing spears at the ogre.

When the two knights under Cordelia also started fighting against the Ogre and the Cyclops respectively, the situation of the war turned around and the soldiers showed their courage and threw spears at the monsters. Unlike before, the spears were driven into the monsters’ bodies one by one, and hope appeared in the soldiers’ eyes. It settled down.
