The night of the third day.
As day dawned, inevitable fate would come upon the cavalry.
Although it was tempting to remain silent due to the fate of death, the atmosphere in Ayoungji did not change much.
I was just accepting it as what was coming.
I had yet to hear anything about what choice the leader leading them would make, but there were things I knew without having to hear.
After meeting with the emperor, the cavalry commander returned to the camp.
He, who had been keeping his mouth shut about his future policy, gathered everyone together and opened his mouth.
“When dawn breaks, the empire’s defenses are breached.”
No one at the campsite was surprised.
“I would like to take questions.”
The members sat in a circle around the cavalry commander, who stood where the bonfire was.
“I have a question.”
While silence continued, someone raised their hand.
The captain pointed at the questioner with his chin. The eyes of the other members turned to him.
The questioner was John.
He looked back and forth at the captain and crew with a very serious face and then opened his mouth.
“Are you eating breakfast?”
“Do you want to eat it?”
“Yes. If possible, it would be better if it was meat. I think it will be difficult to gain strength from just soup because my stomach is empty.”
Some members nodded as if they agreed with what he said. And there were Anna and Agnes who looked at John like an insect.
“Unit commander. Is there any meat left?”
In response to the captain’s question, Anna straightened her back.
“There are some leftovers, but not enough to share so that everyone is full.”
“Then, let’s have Yohan, the initiator, get the meat.”
“Yes?”
John’s eyes widened at the captain’s words.
“Isn’t it natural for the proposer to seek it?”
There was a slight hint of playfulness on the cavalry captain’s face as he spoke calmly.
“Oh, no. Captain….”
John groaned, but he dismissed the conversation by turning his head.
“Then any more questions?”
“Is there no need to carry out a separate disruption operation?”
It was Judas’ question. The campground members who had been chatting briefly fell silent.
“Operation disruption… Do you think it is necessary?”
The captain answered Judas’ question with a question.
Judah closed his mouth for a moment to gather his thoughts.
“I said this because I thought there would be a lot of damage if there was a head-on confrontation.”
“I think there is no problem. However, as Judah said, I think we need people to perform separate missions.”
“I see.”
“Those personnel will not join the main unit and will move separately, so organize your thoughts in advance.”
“Oh, has the selection already been decided?”
Judas asked again.
“It has been decided.”
The captain answered briefly.
“Okay.”
With Judas’ words at the end, the cavalry began to spend the last night in their own way.
The cavalry did not need detailed tactics or a sense of purpose.

“Your Majesty, a letter has arrived.”
“Really?”
The emperor, who received the letter presented by the knight commander, quickly scanned the contents.
After reading the brief information to the end, the emperor snorted as if he did not like something.
“Is there anything that concerns you?”
“You said you were going to hit me with all your might, but I never thought you were preparing a separate force… You lied to me.”
The emperor felt uncomfortable knowing that his favorite person had lied to him.
“I think it is the mark of a good commander to use any means possible to achieve victory. It is disappointing that the cavalry commander lied to Your Majesty, but I wonder if you can generously consider that he was also trying to fulfill his role.”
In order to soothe the emperor’s displeasure, the knight commander opened his mouth with a hint of curiosity.
“Hmm, hmm… The knight commander has a point. Even though it is said to be connected to me, I am currently in an enemy country… I must be merciful and understand the cavalry commander’s actions.”
“The cavalry commander will certainly be grateful for His Majesty’s mercy.”
“Hehe, I hope so.”
“Your Majesty, we will also prepare a separate unit.”
The emperor nodded at the knight commander’s words.
“Anyway, no one except the cavalry commander had any intention of saving his life. There is no need to capture the separate unit.”
“Okay.”
“It is the cavalry commander and unit commander who must be captured.”
“Will the unit commander be captured as well?”
The knight commander asked back as if he were puzzled.
The Emperor ran his ebony hair with the back of his hand and raised his mouth in a perverted manner.
“Death is too merciful for that cocky bitch. All of their sinews will be cut off and thrown into the dirtiest brothel in the empire. We will make you live a life under the sweaty flesh of beggars and drunkards.”
“Okay.”
“Hehe, it’s tomorrow now.”
Looking at the moon rising high, the emperor muttered with a satisfied expression.
“The day when you become mine has finally come.”
The emperor muttered with an ecstatic expression on his face.

The sun rose, and the camp crew cleared out the place.
Someone brought water and poured it on the bonfire. The flame that had been warming the camp for three days died out, sending out white smoke like a flurry of death.
Gather up the shabby blankets that had been spread on the floor, and erase any traces of people.
Feed the horses plenty of hay and inspect the armed forces.
Sharpen the blade, check the bowstring, and temporarily patch any frayed parts on the leather armor.
Agnes strummed her lute, adding melody to the busy morning.
John, the man in charge of the meal, begins to slice and cook the meat he caught.
The breakfast, made by grilling directly over a fire instead of soup, smelled so delicious that it made my mouth water.
After a noisy moment, the tent opened and the cavalry commander came out.
Anna followed behind him, heavily armed.
The crew gathers in front of the captain.
“Is everyone gathered?”
The captain said, looking around at the crew.
yes The crew shouted.
“Did you have a good breakfast?”
He continued his calm tone as if reciting his daily routine.
yes The crew responded.
“In one hour. Go to war So that we can complete our preparations.”
All right. The crew responded.

The imperial army begins to slowly advance.
“Is it not out yet?”
The emperor did not take his eyes off the entrance to the forest in the distance.
“Yes, not yet.”
“What about the troops deployed nearby?”
“A separate unit was placed in a place where it can be moved.”
“Good.”
The emperor made a satisfied noise.
Buuuu—
A horn was heard in the distance. A low, distant, serious sound echoed from the forest.
“I guess it’s coming out now.”
The emperor rubbed his hands and smiled.
She stamped her feet in anticipation.
The sound of the horn shook the forest and sent birds flying into the sky.
Birds began to leave the forest, making various cries.
“Isn’t it funny that the only thing the insignificant Kingdom of Gernoa can boast about is the 4th Cavalry?”
The emperor said, looking at the knight commander.
“Yes.”
The knight commander also answered sincerely.
“I don’t know if what I’m holding is a treasure, and I’m throwing it away so easily… King Gernoa is not qualified to stand above people.”
“That’s right.”
Buuu—-
Cavalrymen begin to emerge from the entrance of the forest.
Even though it was a long distance away, the emperor looked straight into the cavalry commander’s face.
“Good. It looks like your body has recovered.”
The emperor clenched his fists.
“Sweetheart, hit me with all your might. Struggle in any way you can.”
The emperor’s eyes glowed sinisterly as he licked his lower lip with his tongue.
“Your bravery is meaningless in the face of overwhelming power… You will be mine today.”

The cavalry swallowed their saliva at the sight of the imperial army unfolding before their eyes.
Their bodies began to heat up ahead of the battle. It was accompanied by moderate tension and fear, and the desire to deliver a blow to the empire, the loser of the continent.
“Wow~ It’s spectacular.”
John whistled as he looked at the tightly laid out walls of the empire.
“I’m sure… it’ll be hard to find a loophole.”
Anna analyzed.
“We have a longer bow range than those guys, so why not nibble on them?”
Agnes expressed her opinion.
“The shield is so big that I think I’ll just throw away the arrows. I think we will break through by one point like last time.”
Gilbert countered.
“That was a breakthrough to escape. If you follow the rules, it’s best to eat it from the front and back.”
Dorian clicked his tongue as if he was disappointed.
“If you divide your units on a wide plain like this, they will be defeated individually. Breaking one point is correct. The damage will be the greatest, though.”
John said.
“The wall itself was made long, but it seems to be thin. I think it would be a good idea to move around and break up the enemy’s formation.”
After completing the analysis, Anna presented her opinion.
“I take the lead. Follow me, and block the flying arrows with your shield.”
The captain said after hearing the opinions of the members.
“Captain. What about separate units?”
When Judah asked, the captain turned his head and looked at him.
“The special unit is you and Judas.”
“Yes?”
“The special unit has only one mission. Leave this battle.”
“Captain? Suddenly what?”
Judas’ face turned pale.
The cavalry commander rode his horse to Judah’s side and placed his hand on Judah’s shoulder.
“Unlike me, a cavalry commander would have done this.”
The cavalry commander tapped the man on the shoulder, saying something unintelligible, then turned his horse and rode out of the forest.
Following the cavalry leader, the members begin to move forward one by one.
Judas, with his pale complexion, could not bear to follow in their footsteps.
“Hey, Judah. Take this.”
Yohan, who was ahead, threw his bag.
My hand reflexively reached out to the object flying in front of my face.
The pockets were heavy.
As he untied the string, a silver-shiny coin caught his eye.
“Other kids can pay their debts in heaven, but you will live a long time and then go to hell, so pay them now.”
With a cool smile and a wink, Johan drove his horse forward.
The crew passed by him and tapped his shoulder and head once.
There were no criticisms or curses.
But Judah was ashamed and humiliated by it.

The cavalry had completely escaped the forest and stood in line.
It was a battlefield where thousands of people gathered, but no one easily made a sound.
“The order received from the kingdom was to stop the imperial army from crossing the border.”
“I will carry out that order today.”
He closed his eyes. Many experiences and memories came to mind.
I crossed many worlds, experienced many failures, and faced many deaths.
However, if one were to name satisfactory deaths, the number was so small that one could count them on ten fingers.
A faint smile appeared on the cavalry commander’s lips.
“Is everyone ready?”
“We are always ready.”
“The cavalry commander was honored to be with you. The cavalry commander’s resting place was you.”
With a deep smile, he gently pulled the reins, and the horse began to move forward.
“I will open the way.”
The cavalry leader’s horse rushed out like lightning, and after that, Johan and Anna’s horses ran as if competing.
Anna Irwena.
Johan Siebert.
Agnes Emil.
Gilbert Meldoro.
Hisen Humila.
Dorian.
Kane.
Reena.

The brave cavalrymen followed their captain.
Feeling the wind passing by his ears, the cavalry commander muttered.
“It’s been a while… I think it’s a satisfying ending.”
He evaluated his ninety-ninth death this way.
