Chapter Index

    ***

    Half a year later.

A punitive force was organized to suppress possession.

The punitive force consisted of 30 people and they were warriors who were recognized just by hearing their names.

‘We just call it rocky mountain.’

They gathered in front of a mountain that the residents of a nearby village called Rock Mountain.

They had no shortage of force, but for some reason they had no intention of climbing the mountain and just stood there in front of it.

    – Tingling twinkling

A warning that if you set foot on the mountain on your own, they will not let you go.

The deadly force emanating from the owner of the mountain was directed at the entire punitive force.

“Where on earth am I… I have this much energy.”

When Cheongyeon, who was in the lead with Bingeom, muttered, Bingeom responded to his student.

“You may have already become a monster.”

Bingeom’s gaze was focused on one place.

“Master? What are you seeing now….”

Cheongyeon couldn’t finish speaking. Her eyes began to see the same things her teacher saw.

    “Keuugh….”

Someone was coming down the mountain, holding Yeomjin’s back.

Like something bought at the market, Yan Jin swayed back and forth slightly off the ground.

    “Um, uh…what is that!”

At first glance, Yeomjin’s condition was not normal.

Each arm and leg was missing, and fluid was flowing from the half-burnt head.

Her sunken eyes and drool dripping from her mouth showed that she was not in her right mind.

The person holding her in his hand was Soyou, wearing a black military uniform and a white robe.

    “Owned….”

Cheongyeon barely held on to her shaking legs.

Cheongyeon’s long-standing ill-fated relationship came down the path made by the herbalists and glanced at the punitive force as if indifferent.

    “Tsk!”

At that gaze, several warriors sat down on the ground.

    “Only thirty?”

‘Is this really true?’ Soyou asks themselves with this expression.

    “But the chaff didn’t come.”

The tone of speech is looking down from above, Soyou points out each person with his finger.

    “Hwangeom, poisonous iron, geobak….”

Soyou’s finger, which pointed at each of them, the main force of the political faction, stays in one place.

    “Binggeom… and Bingryungong.”

Soyou’s thin index finger stopped on Cheongyeon’s face.

“Yeon Lun-gong… No, Nam Gung So-yu. The world knows your sins.”

Bingeom pulled out his sword and shouted. Soyou looked at him without saying anything.

“My sin? What is my sin?”

Someone reacted angrily to the seemingly innocent question.

“Such shameless!! Hasn’t it been four years since you butchered innocent warriors!”

Soyou waved his hand and furrowed his brows as if he didn’t want to hear the words of the man holding the large axe.

“Ah… I can’t believe I have to mix words with ignorant and obscure things.”

Soyou threw Yeomjin, which he was holding in one hand, forward.

Yeomjin, whose body was not healthy, rolled on the ground.

    “Uh…uh…”

Yan Jin crawled on the ground, speaking like a beast.

Covering themselves with dirt with their intact arms and legs, they headed towards the punitive force.

It was screaming in fear and seemed to be trying hard to get away from Soyou.

“Are you going to live like that?”

As if that look was the same, Soyou chuckled.

Soyou moved and approached Yeomjin, who was crawling hard on the ground.

Then he placed his right foot on Yeom Jin’s head.

    “Ugh…?”

Yeom Jin turned his head due to the pressure he felt in his head.

Her eyes met the emotionless eyes of the child who had once been her student.

    “Insects, die like insects.”

As she spoke, Soyou strengthened her right leg.

    – Pakak

With an unpleasant bursting sound, Yeom Jin’s head exploded.

    – Wow! Wow!

As blood and brain matter were scattered on the floor, someone on the punitive force vomited.

    ” Bastard!!”

Someone couldn’t overcome Soyou’s cruel behavior and left the group.

The man jumped up and swung his sword at Soyou, but the sword did not reach Soyou.

A huge black flame surged in front of Soyou, melting the man along with the sword.

    – Chii Iik

The man, transformed into something sticky and nasty black, was thrown to the ground.

    “Twenty-nine?”

    “Owned!”

Cheongyeon shouted. Then, Soyou’s eyes turned to Cheongyeon.

“Didn’t I tell you that day before I left for the Murim League?”

Soyou said while looking at Cheongyeon.

“If we meet again, one of us will die.”

Soyou’s clear eyes stared at Cheongyeon.

“When I told you the truth, I didn’t mean for you to do something like this!”

    “You’re doing something like this?”

As Soyou tilted his head and waved his hand, he began to feel signs around him that had been quiet.

“hawk, ambush? I didn’t feel any presence?”

As the number of people increased like a flood, the entire punitive force took out their weapons and took a stance.

“Cheongyeon. I ask again. What do you mean by doing something like this?”

“I’m talking about something that deviates from the norm.”

Cheongyeon spoke clearly, overcoming the pressure of Soyou.

    “Pahahahahahaha!!”

In response to Cheongyeon, Soyou leaned back and burst into laughter.

Someone sat down, covering their ears, at the laughter filled with bets.

“Ah, yes, yes. degree. Justice. That’s what you guys were after.”

Soyou spoke, wiping away the tears that had formed from laughing so hard.

    She continued giggling.

“But what can you do? The justice you guys talk about is a collection of fake and good actions…”

“Is it justice to suck the suffering of the weak and say there is nothing you can do about it?”

Soyou’s head turned towards someone in the punitive force.

“Or is it justice to protect others in return for regular compensation?”

“Is it justice to conduct unspeakable experiments on the powerless for the sake of the family’s goals?”

“Or… is it justice to take for granted the sacrifice of cows for the greater good?”

Black flame began to flow from Soyou’s body.

“If that’s the extent of it, I won’t walk. Even if it is called evil, I will not pursue it.”

“Perhaps it is evil that destroys this rotten justice.”

A tough life and unbearable pressure hit the punitive force.

    “Everyone ready for battle!”

Bingeom shouted, anticipating the coming death.

“Yes, you righteous ones, fall to the ground.”

Thinking of the face of his departed student, Soyou smiled sadly.

“I am the evil that will burn all justice in this world.”

“Standing at the peak of all evil and demons in the world…”

    “A thousand miles.”
