“Dad…?”

    Dad suddenly stopped speaking. Could it be because of me, pushing too hard…?

    “Kuul….”

    “He’s asleep….”

    Men fall asleep quickly after they finish, it was true. Even sleeping, Dad’s face is cute.

    “Eut….”

    The hot liquid inside me leaked out. I still feel the heat in my womb. Well, I did climax quite a bit, so it’s no wonder it’s still warm.

    “I feel strange….”

    I thought I would be happy after being with Dad, but now that it’s over, I feel like something is missing. It felt so good when I was with Dad… Is my libido too strong?

    “Wow….”

    I briefly put my finger in my vagina and when I pulled it out, a sticky substance stretched between my fingers. This is semen….

    “Gross….”

    Now I understand why people dislike oral sex. It tastes bad and bitter. And it smells like night-blooming flowers. A different unpleasant smell from the musky scent, just nauseating.

    Still, I practiced swallowing for later. Dad might ask me to do it later.

    “Later……”

    Suddenly, a scary thought crossed my mind. Does Dad really like me? Did he just accept it because he had no choice, did I hurt him instead?

    I know this shouldn’t be happening. It goes against ethics. But… I still liked Dad. I liked the Dad who cared for me, who talked to me every day, whose every action was unnecessarily cool.

    “Huh….”

    Tears welled up, whether from joy or anxiety, I couldn’t tell. I tried to hold them back, wiped my arms continuously, but the tears wouldn’t stop.

    “Annoying.”

    The truth is indeed heavy. Ignorance might truly be bliss. My heart ached, I couldn’t bear to look at Dad.

    So, I decided to turn away from the truth.

    ~~~
    “Umm….”
    Huh, did he fall asleep, was it a dream… No, it wasn’t a dream.
    The sun had set long ago outside, and the stickiness on my lower body and the dampness on the sheets proved it wasn’t a dream. Where is Yuhee though?
    “Ugh…!”
    It must be because I moved after so many years, my back hurts. I usually take care of myself, but the aftermath was severe after the act.
    Still, I can’t just lie here. When I opened the door to shower, a pleasant smell filled the house.
    “You’re up?”
    “Yeah, I am….”
    “Hurry, shower and come. I’ve prepared food.”
    “Okay….”
    He was acting as if nothing happened. Despite moaning in front of me, it seemed like he had neatly separated that from this.
    After the shower, there was no elaborate meal on the table.
    “Oh….”
    Fried ham with eggs, egg garnish with leftover eggs, kimchi and ham, stir-fried vegetables topped with half-cooked eggs, kimchi fried rice. On one side, there was samgyetang we ate before. And even eels, which I didn’t know were there. Oily yet stamina-boosting dishes were laid out. I wondered if I could eat all of this.
    “Enjoy your meal.”
    “Yeah. I will… Yuhee, what about you?”
    “I already ate.”
    Saying that, he hurriedly went into the room. Is it awkward after all? It feels like Yuhee also knows, there’s a slight sense of avoidance from him.
    Still, I can’t leave any leftovers. I was hungry, and on hot days like this, physical strength is crucial, so I finished everything.
    “Enjoyed your meal… You were in the room the whole time.”
    As I washed the dishes, the clinking sound of plates felt like it symbolized our relationship, leaving me feeling uneasy.
    I too feel uneasy, and Yuhee must be feeling the same way. Whether it’s okay to continue like this or if it’s all coming to an end, I’ve found myself in a situation where choosing is truly ambiguous, so there’s no way I can remain indifferent.
    Above all, Yuhee’s voice tone was abnormally high.
    “Don’t make Yuhee anxious.”
    It’s definitely partly my fault for not making things clear. Because of my ambiguous attitude, Yuhee also became uncertain and anxious. I need to clearly show that I care for Yuhee.
    “Yu-heh──”
    Come to think of it, Yuhee did say not to enter her room… Is there something I shouldn’t see…? Well, it doesn’t matter since I won’t go in anyway.
    “Phew….”
    Upon entering my room, the intense traces of the day still lingered. Just thinking about intertwining with Yuhee on that bed makes my heart race again.
    I removed the sheets, put them in the laundry basket, and laid out a new blanket. I started to dislike myself for knowing deep down that it would get dirty again.
    “Should I watch TV….”
    Lately, variety shows have been boring, so I end up watching only news or movies on TV. Even though most movies are predictable, there’s still enjoyment in watching them.
    Since it’s a rare summer day, I chose a suitable horror movie to watch. With the fan on, it wasn’t too hot.
    “A few decades ago, someone drowned unnoticed. The river was filled in, a school was built over it, and disappearances of high school seniors began after its completion….”
    It’s quite an intriguing start. The setting is a typical girls’ high school, but the disappearance incidents starting with absences from school without anyone noticing are chilling. Only the protagonist noticed this fact.
    To uncover the truth behind the incidents, he headed towards the third-floor girls’ restroom, known for frequent disappearances. Despite no wind, the innermost stall was swaying back and forth.
    “What’s this….”
    The protagonist cautiously approached the stall. The escalating tension, the clash of violin strings in the background music, made the situation even more chilling.
    Moreover, by dimming the lights to set the mood, it became genuinely eerie.
    “Dad.”
    “Whoaaaah!”
    I screamed a beat faster than when a ghost appeared on screen, thanks to being startled by Yuhee. It made the ghost’s appearance less scary.
    “Oh, it was Yuhee….”
    “Watching a movie?”
    “Yeah, uh… Wanna watch too, Yuhee?”
    “What is it?”
    “It’s a horror movie, it’s fun.”
    While saying a horror movie is fun might seem odd, most people understand what that means. It indicates how engaging the movie is.
    As a sign of agreement, Yuhee naturally sat beside me. It almost feels like having a home date.
    …Can I actually call this a date now?
    “……”
    With Yuhee sitting next to me, I found it hard to focus. A pleasant scent tickled my nose, and as Yuhee’s skin touched mine, my heart raced. Every time I glanced sideways, Yuhee was already engrossed in staring at the TV screen.
    “There’s something there!”
    Startled by Yuhee, I missed it, but the protagonist who seemed to have survived confronts the homeroom teacher. Ignoring the noise, only one friend listened to her opinion.
    “Is it here?”
    “Yeah.”
    Even though it’s broad daylight, the weather feels gloomy, adding to the eeriness. Some horror movies don’t necessarily confine themselves to nighttime; ghosts can appear during the day too.
    Following the protagonist’s words, the door of the inner stall began vigorously shaking back and forth. With a clanging sound, almost as if urging someone to leave.
    “Ugh…!”
    Yuhee grabbed my hand, shocked. Even in a scene where you’re supposed to hold hands without getting scared, she managed to startle me. I must seem more cowardly than I thought….
    “Aaaah!”
    The ghost didn’t appear, but the window frame was broken. They hurried back to the classroom and got scolded by the teacher who was already teaching.
    And then came the evening when the sunset should not have been there. The protagonist and their friend went back to the restroom to check the inner stall, but this time it was fine. The broken window had also been restored.
    “This is the right place…”
    “What are you talking about?”
    “Huh…?”
    “Nothing happened.”
    Suddenly, the friend started laughing with a creepy expression. The unsettling laughter spread through the speaker.
    Then begins the protagonist’s flashback. The friend who heard the protagonist’s words never existed from the beginning; they had drowned and died decades ago.
    Furthermore, the girls’ high school had actually been closed from the start. They had come to the spiritual spot with friends, found nothing unusual, and returned home, only to be haunted from the moment they entered.
    No one noticed the disappearances except the protagonist.
    “Next on the news. Four high school girls have gone missing…”
    Followed by a news report of the missing high school girls. Their bodies were still unfound, and the movie ends with a new group visiting the school.
    If only that eerie laughter hadn’t been there, it would have been fine. The ending felt a bit unsatisfying.
    “Sigh… How was it?”
    “…”
    “Yoohee…?”
    Yoohee was looking down, covering her forehead completely. Was it that scary?
    “Yoohee—”
    “Do I look like Yoohee?”
    “…”
    Too flustered to say anything.
    “…Boring.”
    “No… It’s just that…”
    Wouldn’t it be right to say there aren’t any cute ghosts in the world?
    Still, she seemed scared as her body trembled slightly. Not wanting to ask, assuming she would attribute it to the fan’s breeze.
    …!
    Instead, he grabbed and embraced Yoohee’s shoulders.
    “W-what are you doing…?”
    “To warm you up.”
    “What…?”
    And without anyone saying a word, they kissed each other.
