To run away, there are mindsets one must have.

The shamelessness to relieve oneself even in front of others, the ability to catch naps even in a rattling carriage, the mental strength to endure motion sickness in a carriage shaking as if an earthquake has struck.

You can only call it a panicked run if you do this much.

Because there’s no time to get out and relieve myself, relief is done with a chamber pot, meals are sandwiches so they can be eaten in the carriage as much as possible, and breaks are only taken right before the horses are about to collapse from exhaustion.
